Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the difficulties encountered by the prospective teacher of Biology FKIP Universitas Abulyatama during the Teaching Training Program at Personal issues. This research was a descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data collection in this study were obtained by questionnaires in the form of Likert scale. The result showed that lack of creativity was the main difficulties faced by the biology prospective teacher (67%; medium). On the other hand, being far from spouse, children and household related problems were the least encountered difficulties (28%; low) during the Teaching Training Program.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Team Games Turnament (TGT) Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi Tentang Sistem Pernafasan di MAN 3 Meulaboh”. Ini mengangkat masalah Apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran biologi tentang sistem pernafasan di MAN 3 Meulaboh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran biologi tentang sistem pernafasan di MAN 3 Meulaboh. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 3 Meulaboh yang terdiri dari 2 ruang berjumlah 50 orang siswa. Sampel dipilih secara random , dan ternyata kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan pengolahan data dihitung dengan statistik sederhana yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa perolehan thitung sebesar 7,42 dan ttabel 2,015, maka thitung ttabel (7,42 2,015) dengan taraf signifikasi 5% (0,05) dan derajat kebebasan db = (n1+ n2 – 2) = (25+25-2) = 48. Dengan demikian Ha yang berbunyi “Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran biologi tentang sistem pernafasan di MAN 3 Meulaboh” diterima kebenarannya.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan gadget bagi anak-anak. Kegiatan ini penting dilakukan karena banyak anak-anak di Gampong Lambunot yang menggunakan gadget tidak hanya untuk belajar tetapi untuk bermain. Metode pelaksanaan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pendekatan sosialisasi yaitu ceramah, dialog, diskusi dan pemecahan masalah. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dengan tema “Edukasi Dampak Penggunaan Gadget bagi anak-anak Gampong Lambunot” bagi anak-anak dan anggota PKK Gampong Lambunot Kec. Simpang Tiga Kab. Aceh Besar dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (a) anak-anak dan ibu-ibu mengetahui dampak positif dan negatif dari penggunaan gadget; (b) tema yang disajikan aktual sehingga para peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan: (c) ibu-ibu mengetahui cara menyikapi anak-anak yang sudah kecanduan serta mengetahui cara mengatasinya; dan (d) anak-anak dapat mengatur waktu menggunakan gadget. Kata kunci: edukasi; dampak gadget; anak-anak ABSTRACTThis activity aimed to prevent the negative impact caused by gadgets on children. This activity is important because many children in Gampong Lambunot use gadgets not only to study but to play. The implementation method in this community service used a method of socialization approach, namely lectures, dialogues, discussions, and problem-solving. The results of the implementation of PKM activities with the theme "Education on the Impact of Using Gadgets for the children of Gampong Lambunot" for children and members of the PKK Gampong Lambunot Kec. District Three Intersection Aceh Besar can be concluded that: (a) children and mothers know the positive and negative impacts of using gadgets; (b) the themes presented are actual so that the participants are very enthusiastic about participating in the activities: (c) mothers know how to deal with children who are already addicted and know how to overcome them; and (d) children can manage time using gadgets. Keywords: education; the impact of gadgets; children

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian menganalisis hubungan keterampilan psikomotorik terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dengan penerapan mikroskop smartphone berbasis pendekatan STEM sebagai alat praktikum pada materi animalia di SMAN 1 Woyla Kecamatan Woyla, Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Provinsi Aceh pada Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Jenis penelitian yaitu terapan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yaitu quasi experiment (one group pretest-posttest design). Populasi yaitu peserta didik kelas X (X MIA1, X MIA2, X IS1, dan X IS2) berjumlah 108 peserta didik. Sampel yaitu peserta didik kelas X MIA (X MIA1, X MIA2) berjumlah 58 peserta didik diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi (data keterampilan psikomotorik) dan tes (data hasil belajar kognitif). Analisis data hubungan keterampilan psikomotorik terhadap hasil belajar kognitif digunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment (r) dan uji regresi (r2). Pengujian hipotesis hubungan keterampilan psikomotorik terhadap hasil belajar kognitif digunakan uji t. Hasil uji korelasi diperoleh nilai signifikan yaitu (0,04) < dari 0,05 atau rhitung (0,264) > rtabel (0,254) dan hasil uji regresi (R2) yaitu 0,070. artinya memiliki hubungan positif (derajat hubungan lemah) dengan pengaruh hubungan sebesar 0,7%. Hasil pengujian hipotesis yaitu nilai thitung lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (2,120 > 1,672), maka hipotesis diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan positif antara keterampilan psikomotorik terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dengan penerapan mikroskop smartphone berbasis pendekatan STEM sebagai alat praktikum pada materi Animalia.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the teacher's role in improving students communication skills in the 21st century which was carried out at SMA 1 Jaya. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The subjects in this study were teachers who taught at SMA 1 Jaya. Data collection techniques using interviews were carried out on teachers or educators as the first informants who were considered capable of understanding the abilities of their students, as well as the strategies used by teachers to improve students' communication skills both in the realm of formal learning. Data analysis using mile and hubberman  which data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that teachers have a major role in schools in improving students communication skills in facing the challenges of the 21st century where teachers engage in active learning based on student center learning. The learning that has been carried out has been effective in improving students communication skills, but it requires an increase in the teacher's creativity in developing the learning process.

Abstract

Students’ Misconception in Animalia Kingdom. This study aimed to identify the misconception of Grade X students on the concept of animalia kingdom dan to find out the percentage of the students who had misconceptions. This study is quantitative descriptive research. The research instruments used written tests in the form of open-ended multiple-choice tests using the CRI technique. The sample of this research was the students of Grade X IA1 and X IA5 SMA Abulyatama Aceh. The sample was 62 students. Based on the result, it was found that more students “Understand the Concept” than those who experience “Misconceptions,” the percentage of students who experience misconceptions about the concept of animal diversity is 27% and that is in the “moderate” category. The students experienced partial misconception which caused them unable to justify and express inappropriate arguments. This is reflected in several students’ answers who did not provide the reason for their answer choice and some students misinterpreted the reason. In this research, the students usually experience misconceptions caused by associative thinking. The students use false experiences as conceptions, and inaccurate reasons, and draw conclusions based on what they see

Abstract

This research was descriptive research using the survey method. This research was conducted at the Public Senior High School, Aceh Besar, Aceh in 2019. The research subjects were 135 students of class X SMAN in Aceh Besar. The sampling technique was the total sampling technique. Data collection was done through test techniques. The test technique was carried out to measure the achievement of conceptual abilities. The test instrument used was multiple choice taken from ecosystem material. The data analysis used was inferential analysis to determine the difference in the achievement of students' conceptual knowledge in schools with the accommodated variables, namely based on gender. The results obtained indicate that the results of the study obtained a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), so there is a significant difference between the gender of female and male students. The average value of the achievement of conceptual knowledge of students of class X IPA SMA Negeri in Aceh Besar where the female students were 8,96 and male students were 4.36. It can be concluded that the conceptual knowledge of female students is higher than male students.
