Abstract

This research was motivated by the utilization of gingger extract which cansubstract of acid and a less favorable flavour at dadiah does not liked by somepeoples. The aims of this research was to analyzed the influence of added of thegingger extract as much as 3%, 6%, and 9% from the milk in used to the qualityof color, aroma, taste and texture. This type of research was a true experimentconducted in April-may 2017 and located in the culinary workshop HomeEconomic, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, State University of Padang.Instrument used was organoleptic test with level test, hedonic test and examinehypotheses used statistics ANAVA and if there was different, continued withDuncan Test. The result of research showed that there was a real influence inadded of gingger extract as much as 3%, 6%, and 9% to the quality of aroma andtaste from dadiah ice cream, while for the quality of the color, texture andhedonic test there was not a real difference influence. Abstract

This is an experimental reseach with non equivalent control group desaign. The object of research is students of Padang State Unuversity who has the same criteria (oily skin type). Sampling is used with purposive sampling technique done in 6 people. The data collected from research directly from the sample by filling out the research format that has been provided. The collected data was analyzed using t test.The results showed that treatment without the use of glutinous rice glutinous peels in the control group did not show significant results in changes in skin brightness level. In the experimental group showed significant results on the brightness indicator of facial skin showed the highest score on the 8th treatment with a score of 3.67 categorized brightly. Hypothesis accepted because t count> t table equal to 4,261> 1,880. After treatment with samples with oily skin categories, significant differences with levels of α = 0.05 for facial care in the control group and experimental group. Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of management safetyand healthy activity at staff laundry department Hotel Rocky Plaza Padang. Thisresearch consists of four indicators of management safety and healthy activity are job area, work use equipment, bright arrange, self work protection. Abstract

This event will be based on research by the utilization of the noni fruit is still a bit and less liked by the people. This research aims to analyze the effect of the addition of the noni fruit to the quality of the ice cream covering, color, aroma, texture, and flavor. This type of research is a pure experiment with a random design complete method uses three repetitions with 30 panelists were implemented in June 2017 on the workshop Tata Boga. The free variable (X) is the addition of noni fruit as much as 0% (x 0), 10% (X 1), 20% (X 2), 30% (X 3), variable (Y) is the external quality of noni fruit. The instruments used are the now then analyzed with organoleptic. The data already acquired and then tabulated in the form of tables and do the analysis Variant (ANAVA). If different test followed by Duncan. The results showed that there was a real influence on quality of colour, the aroma of creamy milk, noni fruit aroma, sweetness, and the flavors were not typical fruit of mengkudu.Keywords: Noni Fruit, Ice Cream, Quality.

Abstract

This article aims to produce learning modules that help students to learn independently. This research is a research and development (R&D). This lesson module been tested by two people and media expert validator 2 person validator expert material. Pratikalitas test is carried out by the student D3 Tata Fashion force 2015 with a total of 14 people. The stages are done in developing learning modules are: 1) define, 2) design, 3) develop. At this stage of the development of data analysis is done as follows: 1) validity of data analysis module, 2) data analysis pratikalitas module. Data analysis techniques used by calculating the mean and percentage. The validity of a test conducted by the validator the validator 3.5 media expert and expert material obtained a score of 3.37 categorized very valid. While the pratikalitas test done to students D3 Tata clothing, with a small pratikalitas test results and test pratikalitas 3.36 powerhouse 3.45 module menswear stated very practical. This module is in decent criteria used as learning materials courses menswear for the students of the fashion Department of the grammar of D3 family welfare of the Faculty of tourism and hospitality State University of Padang. Abstract

This research aims to produce a product media Modul Computer Embroidery withWILCOM ES 2006 Program of Embroidery lesson at IKK FPP UNP. In addition, thisresearch also aims to know advisability of validity, practicality and effectiveness media.The subject research is students of Bachelor Fashion design 2015 are taking Embroiderylesson on January-June 2017. The method which use 4D (four-D) model consist of Define,Design, Develop and Desseminate. But in this research desseminate has not use becauselimitations of researcher. Technique of accumulation data uses the questionnaire,observation and test. Analysis method used presentation data. This result is advisability ofmedia modul with 92,36% rating of validity test that included in very advisability category,87,97% rating of practicality test that included in very practical category, and the modul’seffectiveness indicates a decrease in percentage of students who score under KKM from76,2 % to 4,8% and learning outcomes of students who score on KKM is increase from23,8% to 95,2% that include in very high category. Abstract

This article purposed to know how managing tourism facility on the coast of Sako Padang. The type of this research is descriptive with qualitative data using survey methods. The collecting technique implemented by using methods of interviewing, observation, and documentation. In this research there are three person who involved as informant using Purposive Sampling technique and five visitors using techniques of Snowball Sampling. The data analyzed in the reduction, serving data , taking the result of this research shows: 1) managing the main facility of tourism, surveillance, planning and organizing the restaurant to the future hasn’t yet exist, surveillance restaurants has been running, briefing to the restaurant hasn’t yet run completely. The parking lot is already planned but Organizing the parking does not exist. Direction and supervision of the parking lot is already running. The planning of work programmes in the management of the toilets are already commited, organizing the toilet already exists. Briefing and supervision the toilet is already running. The palacement for trash already planned. Organizing the management of trash already exist. The briefing for placement of trash already commited. Lack of supervision of the trash. 2 complementary facility of tourism management planning to the future of clean water there's already planned, organizing, and direction is running well, but supervision is still lack of attention. 3) managing secondary facility tourism in case of planning, placement for a souvenir shop there hasn’t been completed because of less budget funds, organizing is running well, direction and supervision of already implemented.Key words : managing, facility, tourism._______________________

Abstract

This research aims to determine the stisfaction of visitor to the Harau Valley Tourism object of Limapuluh Kota which are measure by five indicators of visitor satisfaction (1) the expectation of the visitor, (2) the fulfillment of the needs of the visitor desire, (3) the desire to use the product again, (4) and the desire to recommend the service to others. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative with population is all visitor who are visiting the Harau Valley Tourism Limapuluh Kota with an average number of visitors per month as many as 21.666 people. Sampling technique in this research is puposive sampling counted 100 people. Data collection technique is done by spreading the questuinnaire using Likert scale and has been tested the validity and reliability. The result showed that overall satisfaction of visitors to Harau Vellay Tourism District Limapuluh Kota are to categorized as quite agree by 60%, and 39% with the interpretation states less agree and 1% states disagree.Keywords: visitor satisfaction, Harau Valley of Limapuluh Kota Regency

Abstract

The background of this study is to reduce the dependence of imported materials (wheat), improve the utilization of local foodstuffs and improve the utilization of taro. This study aims to analyze the influence of substitution of taro flour by 25%, 50% and 75% to the quality of pie skin which includes shape, color, texture, aroma and taste. Types of pure experimental research with complete randomized design methods. The dependent variable of skin quality of pie by using primary data sourced from 5 expert panelists by proposing the organoleptic test format. Analyze data with ANAVA, if Fcount> Ftable then proceed with Duncan test. The result of this research is that there is no significant effect of substitution of flour taro on the quality of pie skin (form, crispy texture and taste) because Fhitung <Ftabel, and there is significant influence from substitution of taro flour to pie skin quality (color, aroma, and taro flavor) because Fcount> Ftable. The best result based on organoleptic test is found in X3 with taro flour substitution of 75%.Keywords: Influence, Substitution, Taro Flour and Leather Pie.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) Describe the quality of front office employee services Bumiminang Hotel Padang, 2) Describe the satisfaction of guest stay Bumiminang Hotel Padang, and 3) Analyze the relationship between the quality of service front office department with the satisfaction of guests staying at Bumiminang Hotel Padang.This type of research is correlational. The study population is all guests staying at Hotel Bumiminang Padang. Sample of 87 guests taken with certain criteria. Technique of data collection is done by using questionnaires that have been tested the validity and reliability. Further data is analyzed descriptively and correlation with the help of SPSS Computer Program version 20.00.The results of the study found that: 1) Quality of front office services are in very good category (44%), 2) Satisfaction of guests staying in Good category (45%), 3) Product Moment Correlation test results show a positive relationship (strong enough ) And significant between Quality of Front Office Service and Customer Satisfaction at Hotel Bumiminang Padang with r value of 0,804 are at 0,75-0,99 and at Sig 0,000 level.
