Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a descriptive quantitative research. The research population was all students of class XI and XII Building Engineering Program with a number of 137 people. Samples of this research consisted of 58 people with sampling techniques using proportionate random sampling. This study has only one variable that is characteristic of Master Image of favored teacher by students. The research data collection tool was a questionnaire using a Likert scale to measure each statement. Results of this research indicate that a review of the technical drawing teacher characteristics favored by students seen from indicators of intelligence, the highest percentage of indicators of intelligence is as much as 96.56% of the students said he/she was happy with the technical drawing teacher who possess intellectual, the highest percentage of professional indicators as many as 96 , 56% of students declare happy with teacher drawing techniques to master the material, the highest percentage indicator of expertise is as much as 100% of the students said he/she was happy with the teachers who understand the drawings of building materials, and the highest percentage indicator of personality that is as much as 96.56% of the students happy with teacher  who friendly and can be a good example. Keywords: Karakteristik, Gambar Teknik, Disenangi

Abstract

ABSTRACK This study is a descriptive study that aims to describe and interpret the data obtained on an overview of the perceptions of students of Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP on implementation experience in the world of construction services indrustri the period July-December, 2013. The population of this research is the students of Department of Civil Engineering who has carried out the PLI in the period July-December 2013, the total sample was taken using sampling with a sample of 69 students. The results showed perceptions of students majoring in civil engineering FT-UNP on the implementation of industry experience in the world of construction services in the following activities: observation with the degree of achievement of 68.09%, with the degree of achievement of planning activities and implementation activities 67.34% with 67.86% degree attainment. Based on the degree of achievement, can all be classified simply. Overall perception of students of Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP on the implementation of industry experience in the construction world degrees 67.75% and include enough categories. Abstract

Abstract This researching of background from lot of the student still not folowing the rules of  safety and healthy on work, besides that rules of safety and healthy have installed on the wall use the slogans, but the student still have a conversation while working use the machine, and the student not use safety equipment while working to. This research is a descriptive research, that have a purpose for reveal how much level of comprehension student about safety and healthy of work at carpenter workshop of Department Building at SMK N. 1 Sub-district Guguak, Regency of 50 Kota. Therfore expressed a question of research is how high the level of comprehension of student about safety and healthy of work at carpenter workshop of Department Building at SMK N. 1 Sub-district, Regency of 50 Kota, at school years 2013/2014 amount 52 students. The prime data of this research is dispersion or quisionaire for student building engineer. The flow of analisys consist of, (1) tabulation of data, (2) analisys data, (3) count the average of percentage scale of interval. Based on the analisys of data, be obtained knowledge the student about safety and healthy of work at carpenter workshop of Department Building at SMK N. 1 Sub-district Guguak, Regency of 50 Kota is 71.23% and middle classified. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to know the level of teachers’ difficulty in preparing learning material especially the lesson plan for 2013 curriculum. The design of the research is descriptive research. The population of this research is 21 Engineering teachers at SMK N 1 Padang, the sample is of 17 teachers that were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale that used four answer choices for positive and negative statements. The numbers of statements in the questionnaire were 55 point statement. The results showed that in preparing the lesson plan (RPP) the teachers had high level of difficulty. Every indicator in preparing a learning material showed the result as followed: 1) The Formulation of indicators was in high difficulty level category; 2) The Formulation of the goal of teaching was in difficulty level category; 3) The selection of the teaching material was in high difficulty level category; 4) the Selection of teaching  method was in high difficulty level category; 5)The Selection of  media was in high difficulty level category; 6) The Development of learning process was in very high difficulty level; 7) attitude evaluation was very high difficulty level; 8) Ratings knowledge with a high difficulty level category; and 9) Skills evaluation was in high difficulty level. Abstract

This research is using quantitative method in the type of descriptive-comparative that purposed to find out the comparison of student grades/IP (learning result) in first and second semester for student of written and non-written selection at construction engineering education program civil engineering FT-UNP. Population in this research is students of construction engineering education program civil engineering FT-UNP year of entranced 2010-2011, which are amounted to 176 students. Sampling collection technique is determined with proportional stratified random samping. Data collection technique is documentation. Results from this research thitung = 2.10 > ttabel= 1.980, which is mean that there is a significant comparison student of written and non-written selection at construction engineering education program civil engineering FT-UNP, for semester two research thitung = 0,95 < ttabel= 1.980, which is mean that there is not significant comparison student of written and non-written selection at construction engineering education program civil engineering FT-UNP, while for one year of study thitung = 1.616 < ttabel 1.980, which is mean that there is not significant comparison student of written and non-written selection at construction engineering education program civil engineering FT-UNP. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is purposed to reveal factors that influence students’ learning of static subject at class X TKB SMKN 5 Padang. In this research, there is one single variable that is factors that influence students’ learning that being reviewed from internal and external factors of student. This research was descriptive quantitative. Subject in this research was students of class X TKB who was entered static subject on school period of 2014/2015 in SMKN 5 Padang. Sample collection technique was total sampling with sample amounted to 28 students. Data collection instrument was questionnaire that distributed to respondents. Data analysis technique was descriptive analysis with percentage. Research finding shows that factors that influence students’ learning that comes from internal factor gives an influence of 48% toward learning process, while factor that comes from external factor gives an influence of 52%. From both factors that being studied, the rest is not very different so that there is no dominant factor that influence students’ learning.Keywords: internal and external factors, student

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the contribution of learning outcomes Methods to perception Thesis writing skills Education of Program Building Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. This study is descriptive correlational. A total population of 87 students of the Faculty of Engineering Education Building, State University of Padang force from 2008 to 2010 with a sample of 30 students. Samples were taken with a probability sampling technique kind of simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale that uses five answer choices. The number of statements in the questionnaire as much as 60 point statement. Based on the analysis of correlation r values ​​obtained for 0.286 in the category of weak (low). As for the results obtained from the analysis of the contribution of squaring the correlation (r²) is obtained for 8.17%. The result of this contribution, it can be stated that the learning outcomes Research Methods course contribute as much as 8.17% to perception Thesis writing skills students of the Faculty of Engineering Education Building Padang State University. Abstract

This research is a correlation research that purposed to find the relationship between student grades of student in X class construction engineering SMKN 5 Padang. Population in this research is all students of X class construction engineering SMKN 5 Padang, school of year 2012/2013, which are amounted to 88 students. By using proportional random sampling technique, samples obtained are 72 students. The type of data that used in this research is primary and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from samples through questionnaire distribution about emotional intelligence, while secondary data is student grades which is obtained from dean of construction engineering class SMKN 5 Padang. Results of analysis show that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and student grade for student in X class construction engineering SMKN 5 Padang on school of year 2012/2013. This outcome can be seen from result of t-test that is thitung ≥ ttabel (2.000). Key words : Kecerdasan emosional, hasil belajar

Abstract

The background ofthe problem is the economic factors make college students take the part time job beside studying,thuscausing the students achieved the low grades and they could not takes their credit well. This research isaimed todetermine the relationship between students’learning activitieswithstudents learning achievement sand also the differences between the students’ achievements for the ones who take the part time job and who do not in EducationalProgram of Building Engineering,Department of Civil Engineering,Faculty of Engineering,State University ofPadang. The population was 277Students ofEducationalProgramBuilding Engineering. The sampling technique was taken by using proportionalrandom sampling. Techniquesof data collectionwas the questionnairesanddocumentation. The results ofthis study showed at the95% confidence level and itindicates that thereis a significant relation ship between learning activitieswith the students’learning achievements. Furthermore, theexaminationof the results oft-test analysisobtained Tcount=4.449>Ttable=1.645.Ho is rejectedand. Ha is accepted which means that there aresignificantdifferences between the working students and those who is not working. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis descriptive study aimed to determine the development of entrepreneurship skills of students who follow the Student Entrepreneurial Program (PMW) which is viewed from 7 knowledge entrepreneurship that knowledge to determine the direction of effort, knowledge manage time, knowledge, initiative, knowledge, motivation, knowledge, self-confidence, knowledge, dare to take risks, and knowledge to be responsible.The population in this study were participants engineering students Student Entrepreneurial Program (PMW) in the period 2015-2016 and 2014-2015 development period, then the sample in the study using Taro Yamane formula thus obtained sample of 33 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert scale.From the results, level of knowledge determines the direction of efforts by both categories, the knowledge to manage time good enough category, knowledge initiative with good category, knowledge motivated with excellent category, knowledge confidently with good enough category, knowledge took a risk by category quite well and knowledge to be responsible with the category quite well, so it concluded the level of knowledge of entrepreneurship students participating in Student Entrepreneurial Program at the FT UNP in the category quite well.Keywords: entrepreneur students program, knowledge, entrepreneur.
