Abstract

This study aims to determine the different of media use models in teaching Science Building on the results of class X students of Engineering Building SMKN 1 Padang. This study is a quasi-experimental Pre-test Post- test Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Cluster sampling using random sampling. Data collection instruments such as achievement test. The results of this study concluded that there was a significant effect of the use of media in teaching models Sciences Building on student learning outcomes. The use of media in learning models help students remember, understand, analyze, evaluate and create so that the learning objectives are achieved and improved student learning outcomes. Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of interest in reading books Science of Geometery Land Competency Skills class X Architecture at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. The study aims to determine the relationship between interest in reading books Science  of Geometery Land learning achievement Science  of Geometery Land Competency Skills class X Architecture SMK Negeri 1 Padang. This research is a descriptive study is correlational. The research hypothesis is, "there is a correlation between interest in reading books Science  of Geometery Land to Geometery Land learning achievement of students of SMK Negeri 1 Padang". This study population is students of class X Skills Competency Architecture totaling 64 people and research is the study population. The research data were analyzed using SPSS version 17. From the results obtained by the analysis of Pearson correlation value of 0.354 and significance of the correlation value of 0.004 is less than 0.05. Means there is a significant correlation between interest in reading books Science of Geometery Land to Geometery Land learning achievement of students of SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRAKEngineering Program with Competencies Skills Building Construction Engineering Wood SMKN 2 Sawahlunto special moves on the field of timber. The fundamental problem in woodworking is an accident that occurred while working in the workshop. Based on information from the chairman of the Department of Buildings, occupational accidents have occurred in 2005 and 2006. In addition, from the interviews is known that wood workshop SMKN 2 Sawahlunto not yet meet the standards of a good workshop. For that I am interested in doing research with the title: Overview of understanding of occupational safety and health technical students in wood XI and XII graders Engineering Program Skills Competency Building Construction Engineering Wood SMKN 2 Sawahlunto.This type of research is descriptive. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII Engineering Program Skills Competency Building Construction Engineering Wood N 2 Sawahlunto, amounting to 22 students. The sampling technique in this study using total sampling method. Data collection tool is questionnaire and data were processed using the statistical program SPSS version 17.0.The results showed that: understanding of occupational safety and health in the implementation of the wood work practices class XI and XII Engineering Program Skills Competency Building Construction Engineering Wood SMKN 2 Sawahlunto with the average value of K3 at 70.64% against themselves, on average K3 to the tools and equipment 74.27% and an average of 79.71% K3 to the environment. based on research results throughout degrees of achievement in the category "Enough". Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the lack of students’ learning outcomes at Building Engineering Department of SMK N 2 Sawahlunto. This research has goal to determine if there is relationship or not between building management workshop and students’ learning outcomes in practice wood at Building Engineering Department of SMK N 2 Sawahlunto. Design of this research is a descriptive correlational. The population of this research is all of the students in the faculty of building engineering, 2013/2014 school year totaled 36 people. Sample was taken from all members of the population who called Total Sampling and the number of samples are 36 students. Independent variable of this research is Workshop Management and dependent variable of this research is Learning Outcomes of Wood Practice. Based on the result of correlation analysis is obtained r value 0.743, correlation coefficient r is bigger than r Table (0.743> 0.329). It can be concluded, there is a relationship between workshop management and students’ learning outcomes in Wood Practice at Building Engineering Department of SMKN 2 Sawahlunto on sufficient category, the level of the relationship is between 0.6 to 0.8. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal how productive the teacher needs building engineering expertise in the academic year 2014/2015 and 2024/2025 were ideal in the analysis. This research is quantitative. The unit of analysis of this study is SMK in Padang, the number of research subjects, that is SMKN 1 Padang, SMKN 1 Sumbar, SMKN 5 Padang and SMK Dhuafa Nusantara. The collection of data on research conducted by engineering documentation. Results the analysis of the needs productive teacher expertise in building engineering SMK Padang in Academic Year 2014/2015 acquired needs, which SMKN 1 Padang the total of 6 people, SMKN 5 Padang the total of 2 people, At SMKN 1 Sumbar the total of 9 people and SMK Dhuafa Nusantara the total of 8 people. Analysis the needs of the teacher productive earned Academic Year 2024/2025 acquired additional needs, which SMKN 1 Padang the total of 36 people, SMKN 5 Padang the total of 47 people, SMKN 1 Sumbar the total of 26 people and SMK Dhuafa Nusantara the total of 29 people. Abstract

The type of this research was Research and Development (R & D) and the trials carried out at the Department of Building engineering class X SMK N 5 Padang. Object of this research was the development of teaching materials in the form of comic subjects IBG. Data collection instruments used in this research were pieces of expert validation, test sheets practicality by teachers and students, sheets effectiveness of learning materials in the form of student activity sheets observation and learning outcomes. Products and data analysis techniques used were described techniques, methods graphic, descriptive analysis. First, a description of the design of teaching materials comic form consists of five sections that cover, competency standards, basic competencies, learning objectives, content and evaluation. Second, the comic form of teaching materials have very high validity with an average of 86.47 experts. Third, the use of teaching materials were very practical form of comics with practical value by 80 teachers' responses (1st practitioner) and 76 (2nd practitioner). Fourth, the use of teaching materials in the form of comic implementation of effective learning by SBC was characterized by the observation of student activity that categorize well with the value of 85% and an increase in student learning outcomes IBG meaningfully in learning with the average value of the practicality of using a t-test correlated as thitung (17.64) > ttabel (2.09). Abstract

ABSTRAK The study program of Technical Education Building Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University is a program of study that prepares students to become professional workers in the field of vocational education. Graduates of Technical Education Building Program can be expected natinya prospective teachers Vocational High School of Technology and Engineering  Education  Building  Techniques.  Based  on  the  interviews  and  the results  of  previous  studies  it  is  known  that  students  are  not  interested  in  the teaching  profession.  To  determine  the  factors  that  affect  the  interests  of  the teaching profession, the authors conducted a study with the title: Factors Affecting Student Interests Professional Teacher Education Program Building Engineering Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. This research is descriptive. The study population is students of Technical Education Building Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Padang  State  University  year  in  2014.  The  sampling  technique  used  total sampling method with a total sample of 68 respondents. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire study. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques with percentage calculations. The  results  of  this  research,  there  are  five  sub-indicators  of  internal factors that affect the interests of the teaching profession that is emotional, perception, motivation, talent and mastery of science. Of the five sub-indicators of the talent factor is the internal factors that most influence. Factors influential talents of 25.41% interest in the teaching profession to students of Technical Education Building Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University year in 2014.   Keywords: internal factors, interest, teaching profession

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to reveal the relationship between entrepreneurship interest and learning outcome of entrepreneurship subject for student at class XII SMKN 1 Padang.The design of the study is correlation, with two variables and sample collection technique was proportional random sampling which was 181 samples from 330 populations. Data was collected by questionnaire with Likert scale that consisted of four options.Data was taken by questionnaire. Data analysis technique in this research consisted of several steps which were data description, prerequisite analysis testing and hypothesis testing. From research finding, it shows that there is a relationship between entrepreneurship interest and learning outcome of entrepreneurship subject for student at class XII SMKN 1 Padang, with pearson correlation coefficient is (0.612) > alpha (0.05), this result shows a significant relationship between learning interest and learning outcome for entrepreneurship subject.Keywords: Entrepreneurship Interest, Learning Outcome.
