Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of the course Statics students of 2013.This research aims to determine the relationship between LearningIndependent with learning outcomes subject Statics and how great relationship LearningIndependent with learning outcomes subject Statics students of Department of Civil  Engineering FT UNP. This research descriptive correlational research. The student at 2013 which have taken Statics Lecture half July-December 2013 amounted to 63 studen with used, the sampling method, amounting to total sampling 63 students. The variables in this research are Learning Independent as the variable (X) and learning outcomes Statics dependent variable (Y). Based on the results of data analysis can be stated that there a relationship between Independent Learning with Learning Result Statics course students of Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship the Motivation  Learning with Learning Result of Building Material at Class X in SMK N 1  Tanjung Raya. This research is a descriptive with correlational approach. The population on this research were all of students of clas X KB in SMK N 1 Tanjung Raya at academic year 2012/2013 is 69 of students. Total sampling techniques were used to get sampling until obtain the sample is 69 of students. The data of research obtained through a questioner what analyzed with pearson correlation techniques using SPSS version 15.0. This research revealed in general that the student motivation result is enough category and learning student result a class X at SMK N 1 Tanjung Raya is law category. Based on correlation result obtained rcount 0,354 > rtable  0,235 with significant alpa 0,003 < 0,05. It means there is a significant relationship between learning motivation with learning result in bilding material study class X SMKN 1 Tanjung Raya. Cooficient determibation 12,8% (law category). Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal about the readiness of students majoring in civil engineering faculty of engineering of UNP in 2015 period in implementing the Industrial Field Experience, which is viewed from the aspect of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.This research is quantitative descriptive with a population of 59 supervisors from 9 companies where the Civil Engineering students of Padang University implementingthe Field Experience Industry (PLI) in 2015 in the city of Padang. The sample in this study were 37 supervisors by using the random sampling techniques.The data were collected by using questionnaires. From the research, it was found the perception of supervisor of the readiness of students of Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Padang, in implementing the PLI in Padang is ready for affective and less prepared for cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The final judging from the overall aspect that the perception of field supervisors toward students of Civil Engineering FT-UNP in implementing the PLI in Padang are less prepared.Keywords: Perception, Readiness, PLI.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to show the assessment of the headmaster and self assessment about pedagogic competence at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. The kind of this research is descriptive quantitative research. The data research taken by use research scale model questioner for self assessment and interview to get the headmaster. The data research was taken in 3 steps, they are: (1) the descriptive data, (2) Analysis test regulation, (3) hypothesis testing. To process the testing data research is by using the SPSS program in 16,0 version. The result of this research show the both of the mean are the differentiate with the assessment (t) is 7,606 and probability assessment is 0,008<0,05. Then, Ho get the push away and Ha is received. The hypothesis find the differentiate  between the headmaster assessment and self assessment in productive teacher pedagogic competence at SMK N 1 Pariaman. Abstract

Abstract This research started from the high level of rating Unemployment (TPT) graduates Vocational High School (SMK) in Indonesia, especially in West Sumatra. The high level of TPT vocational graduates showed that the failure to achieve the goal of SMK. Students’s Working Readiness to join in the working world are influenced by several factors, one of them is the practical experience outside. At SMK, the practical experience outside are got from the implementation of The Practice of Industrial Work (Prakerin). Based on these symptoms, it can be formulated that the problem in this research is how Prakerin’s  experience contributes  to the students' working readiness. This research is correlation research, which aims to reveal the Prakerin contribution to  the students' working readiness. For that proposed the following hypothesis, experience of The Practice of Industrial Work (Prakerin) contributes students' working readiness in grade XI major in Building Engineering  at SMK N 2 Payakumbuh. The populations in this study are the entire students grade XI major in Building Engineering of SMK N 2 Payakumbuh which has carried out as many as 47 people, using Total Sampling technique.  Based on data analysis, the results are there is weakness relationship between experience of The Practice of Industrial Work with the  Students’s  Working Readiness at  SMK N 2 Payakumbuh especially grade XI major in building engineering.. The relationship is not significant so the experience of Prakerin have low contribute to the students' workimg readiness major in Building Engineering of SMK N 2 Payakumbuh that is equal to 5.66%. Abstract

Activities performed by personnel of KNPI and youth organization of the City of Padang are carried out so far at a temporary secretariat in a rented building. It is an unrepresentative building that cannot accomodate all personnel activities.  General Conference of KNPI of Padang City in 2012 recommended the city government to build aYouth Building (KNPI Building) as a secretariat for youth organizations (OKP) of the city. This Final Project aimed to plan and design KNPI Building that in line with the vision and mission of KNPI and aligned with the socio-culture of the society and the characteristic of the city. The design purpose is to produce an architectural and structural design of the building Design methods consist of data collection, data analysis, preparation of design concepts and design draft. Data were obtained from related literature, surveys, field observation, and interviews. Data were analyzed in macro and micro analysis to produce design concepts. Factors analyzed in design concepts were building acces, site circulation, sunlight, wind, temperature, noise, landscape and parking, zoning, space required, space requirements, inter-space relationship, space organization, building site plan, building appearance, and building structure. Abstract

ABSTRAKBased on the initial survey, the readiness of student to enter the working world, les for cognitive (knowledge), affective (attitude), and psychomotor (skills). This study aims to determine the level of readiness of students of class XII Architecture Engineering Departement at SMK N 1 valley crossing to enter the working world with regard to the readiness of the knowledge, readiness posture, and readiness skill.This research uses descriptive method. The research subjects are student of class XII Architecture Engineering Departement at SMK N 1 valley crossing semester of the school year 2015/2016. Cognitive data collection taken from the value of learning outcomes (report) while in class X and XI, the data using observation sheet affective, psychomotor using the data sheet psychomotor assessment work. The analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis.These result indicate that grade students of class XII Architecture Engineering Departement at  SMK N 1 valley crossing in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor are in the category of ready to enter the working world.Keywords: Readiness, World of Work, Knowledge, Attitudes, Skill.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimstoreveal the comparative statics results of students Class X in learn building techniques are taught with cooperative learning model type Group Investigation and taught by Conventional models in SMK N 5 Padang. The population of this research are students of Class X Building Engineering Department SMKN  5 Padangas many 81 people. The sampling was done bycluster random sampling technique. Instrument used objectivetest. Data analysis used the t test. The research results showed cooperative learning model type Group Investigation on statics subjects provide better learning out comes than learning out comes using conventional methods. Average student learning out comes for the experimental classwas 82.66 whilethe control class 63.60. Ttest showed count value greater thant table was tcount=6.0508> ttable =1.6973at0.05significance level. This showed that there is asignificant differencein student learning out come susing cooperative learning model type Group Investigation using conventional method sonstatic ssubjects of Class X Building Engineering Department SMKN5 Padang. Abstract

Abstract       This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in training  Building Construction . In this study applied learning using Props and image . The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students who are taught using props and media images on training Building Construction class X TGB SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo.      This study includes a quasi-experimental study (Quasi - Experimental Research) with the study design Randomized Control group pretest - posttest design . The population in this study is 31 students of class X which consists of 15 students X TGB A and 16 students X TGB B. The samples used saturated sampling technique , where all members of the population is used as a sample . In this study a class X was selected as a TGB B Class Props and X TGB A as Class Media Images. The instrument used in this study is the initial test (pretest) and final test (posttest) in the form of an objective matter of 33 items that have tested the validity , reliability , difficulty index and different power problems. Data were analyzed using SPSS (Independent - Samples T Test) and t test (two average difference) by using the value of Gain Score (Difference in the pretest to posttest).      The results of this study indicate that the Class Props with an average score of pretest 50.18  and posttest 79.35, while the Class Media Images has an average score of pretest 51.31 and posttest 73.33. Can be seen there is an increase in the student learning outcomes in Class Props by 58 % and Class Media Images Figure 42.92 % . After that tested the hypothesis using SPSS acquired Sig ( 2 - tailed ) < 0.05 or 0.00 < 0.05 and t-test ( t = 4.143 > table = 2,045 ) . This means that the use of props have a significant influence on learning outcomes of students of class X Construction Skills Program Architecture Engineering SMK Lintau Buo. Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to explain the correlation of students’ perception of professional teachers’ competence and students’ learning outcomes. In this research, the researcher used descriptive research by using correlational approach. The population of this research was the whole students of building construction students grade X of Vocational School 1 Bukittinggi in academic year 2014/2015. The total of the population was 107 students. The researcher took 84 students of 107 as the sample of the research that was taken by using proporsional random sampling. The data used in this research were primary and secondary data. The result of the research showed that there was a significant correlation of students’ perception of professional teachers’ competence and students’ learning outcomes. grade Sig (2-tailed) 0,000<Alpha (0,05). The result of the test emphasized that there was a significant correlation of students’ perception of professional teachers’ competence and students’ learning outcomes.
