Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) Disclose whether or not there is a significant difference between the results of student learning using learning model Mind Mapping assisted by Freemind Application with student learning outcomes using direct instructional model in Lesson TE. (2) Disclose how much influence the adoption of Learning Model Mind Mapping assisted by FreeMind Application on student learning outcomes in Lesson TE. This research is experimental study. The sample in this study is XTAV at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya year 2013/2014 as many as 24 students and divided into two classes that sample of experimental class and control class. Each class consisted of 12 students with the division of the sample groups using proportional random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by comparing the value of t_value against t_critical value. The results of this study are: (1) The results of hypothesis testing, obtained t_value > t_critical value that (5.32> 2.074). The results of these tests give an interpretation that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that there are significant differences to positive between outcomes of students who use learning model mind mapping assisted freemind application with student learning outcomes using direct instruction, Based on the percentage of learning outcomes experimental and control classes. There is an increase in learning outcomes with mind mapping model assisted freemind application effect by 22% against student learning outcomes TE in class XTAV at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif penerapan model pembelajaran Projec- Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMK Negeri 5 Padang. Penelitian menggunakan metode true-experimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian siswa XTAV2 (kelas eksperimen) menggunakan model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning dan XTAV1 (kelas kontrol) menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Diperoleh data penelitian nilai mean ranah kognitif kelas eksperimen 85 dan kontrol 76,5. Sedangkan data penelitian nilai mean ranah psikomotor kelas eksperimen 83,75 dan kelas kontrol 72,94. Hasil uji hipotesis ranah kognitif thitung=2.08 dan ttabel=2.042 sedangkan ranah psikomotor thitung=2.24 dan ttabel=2.042, karena thitung>ttabel sehinggal Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan nilai mean ranah kognitif dan psikomotor terdapat perbandingan nilai kelas kontrol dan eksperimen sebesar 8.5 dan 10.81. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar Kerja Bengkel dan Gambar Teknik siswa SMK Negeri 5 Padang.Kata kunci : Model Project Based Learning, True-Experimental, Hasil Belajar. This study aims to determine the positive effect of the application of the Projec-Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. The study uses a true-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample selection is done by simple random sampling technique. The research sample of XTAV2 students (experimental class) uses the Project-Based Learning learning model and XTAV1 (control class) uses the Discovery Learning learning model. Obtained research data on the value of the cognitive realm of experimental class 85 and control 76.5. While the research data of the mean value of the experimental class psychomotor was 83.75 and the control class was 72.94. The results of the hypothesis test of cognitive domain tcount = 2.08 and ttable = 2.042 while the psychomotor domain of tcount = 2.24 and ttable = 2.042, because tcount> ttable after Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the mean value of the cognitive and psychomotor domains there is a comparison of control and experimental class values of 8.5 and 10.81. It can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the application of the Project Based Learning learning model to the learning outcomes of Workshop Work and Technical Drawing of students of SMK Negeri 5 Padang.Keywords:Project Based Learning Model, True- Experiment, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

In this modern era today, information technology had become a thing where the society have to be cultivated. The development of information technology was currently running very fast and played an important role in various ways. Computers were one of the important parts in improving information technology. This research aimed to design a tool to be able to assist students in obtaining information in an accurate and effective manner. The design of this information system used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which was a common methodology in system development and design. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) had six phases, are namely: identification, initiation and project design, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance. The design carried out were the design and normalization of the database, Entity Relations Diagram (ERD), and system design. Abstract

The background of this research based on the result of the Network Basic training subject wasnot optimal on semester 2013/2014, of which 30.56% scored below the minimum complete ness criteria (KKM).This research is acorrelational study description.The purpose of this research was to reveal how much the contribution of learning and e-learning as Media learning jointly and severally on learning outcomes. The study population numbered 72 people and the sample amounted to 42 students of class X TKJ SMKN 1 Air Putih. The sampling technique was randomly (Simple Random Sampling). Data student learning out comes obtained from X TKJ home room. While data on learning and e-learning as media learning was collected through question naires distributed to students by using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The result showed that (1) interest in learning and e-learning as media learning together contribute significantly to the results of class X student Department of TKJ SMK N 1 Air Putih by 35.30%, (2) interest in learning contribute significantly to the results of class X student Department of TKJ SMK N Air Putih by 22.28%, (3) e-learning as media learning contribute significantly to the results of class X student Department of TKJ SMK N 1 Air Putih by 30.14% , So it can be concluded that the interest in learning and e-learning as media learning  contribute to the results of class X student in the Department of TKJ SMK N 1 Air Putih, ncreasing interest in higher learning and the use of e-learning as media learning , the higher the learning outcomes. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui analisis tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis android mata pelajaran dasar listrik dan elektronika Kelas X  jurusan teknik audio video di SMKN 1 Padang. Kelayakan teoritis dari media dapat dilihat dari aspek kelayakan materi dan kelayakan media. Kelayakan materi  meliputi aspek kelayakan materi/isi sedangkan kelayakan media meliputi aspek  konstruk/sajian, kelayakan bahasa, dan kelayakan kegrafikan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dengan jenis pilihan. Analisis  data menggunakan data kuantitatif. Subjek dari ahli peneliti adalah ahli materi dan ahli media. Dalam penelitian ini  validasi ahli meteri diuji oleh dua ahli materi dan validasi ahli media diuji oleh dua orang ahli materi.  Hasil  penelitian yang diperoleh berupa aplikasi android mendapat penilaian dari ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan 8 sehingga masuk dalam kategori Baik atau Layak secara teoritis. Sedangkan penilaian dari ahli media didapatkan rata-rata keseluruhan 8.8 sehingga masuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik atau Sangat Layak secara teoritis. Dari nilai rata-rata keseluruhan kelayakan materi dan media yang tinggi,menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android dasar listrik dan elektronika sebagai media pembelajaran layak digunakan.Kata kunci : Media Pembelajaran, Android, Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika, Analisis Kelayakan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of a security system on vehicles to reduce criminal acts such as theft, robbery and legality. However, security systems such as alarms and double locks still do not guarantee vehicle safety, because there is no notification to the user when the vehicle is stolen and cannot know the face of the person who stole the user's vehicle. The purpose of this Final Assignment is to apply ATMega328 microcontroller-based technology designed by making integrated hardware and security system software on motorized vehicles. The overall system design and manufacturing process uses the Reserve Engineering method by following several stages, namely: 1) designing the system, 2) designing the hardware, 3) designing the software, 4) the physical design of the tool and making the tool. From the results of the design and manufacture of an integrated security system on motorized vehicles it can be concluded that this tool can work well using the ATMega328 microcontroller as the center of the controller. To turn on the motor, the tool can recognize users with RFID RC522 tags that have been registered. In this tool the User can also find out the position of the vehicle when the vehicle is stolen via text messages and Google Maps with the internet network. When a user is banned by pressing the anti-lock push button, the system can notify the family via a short message. Support from this tool can turn off the vehicle remotely by sending the message "MOTOROFF". Abstract

The information technology is developed to helping people to work mainly in obtaining information, including geographic information. The use of mobile technology is the most used technology to meet the needs of information including health information. Not all of health facilities have an information system, so people need energy and time to get the information. The use of information system and mobile technology can solve the problem. The use of geographic information systems and mobile in the field of health is building a search application health facilities. This technology system is proposed to produce a mobile application with the android operating system, based client server, visualization modelling UML. Implementation of this application using the programming language PHP with Code Igniter framework and MySQL as a Database Management System (DBMS). Mobile application is build using Java programming language with Eclipse. This application based on client server, so user must be connected to the internet to access it. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the contribution of learning interest and personal competence of teachers toward student’s grade for  Graphic Arts subject at X class of Multimedia Department at SMK Negeri 1 Kecamatan Luak. The type of this research is a descriptive correlational. Population in this research are 65 students, and samples are amount to 39 students. Samples are taken by simple random sampling technique. Student’s grade data obtained from teacher’s of graphic arts at SMK Negeri 1 Kecamatan Luak. And data of learning interest and personal competence of teachers were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis showed: (1) Learning interest and personal competence of teachers together contributed 61.5% for student’s grade, (2) Learning interest contributed 17.14% for student’s grade, (3) Competence teacher's personality contributed 16.64% for student’s grade. This research suggest that student’s interest in learning and personal competence of teachers give contribution to student’s grade.

Abstract

At present technology development is almost thoroughly in all circles and fields. One area that cannot be separated from technology is the field of education. It is well known that the development of cellular technology is increasing rapidly, because with a smartphone it can do many things to run mobile applications so that it can easily obtain and process information data. The purpose of this design is to build an information system using the concept of Android-based technology, so that it can serve the process of managing college student final assignments online whenever and wherever they are. The design of this final project management information system is designed using the programming language PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) with the CodeIgniter Framework, JavaScript, and using the MYSQL database. With this system, it can help the management process of the final assignment from submitting the final assignment proposal to the trial exam for college student who have fulfilled the academic requirements with administration, academic counselors, study program chairman, mentors, and head of program.Keywords: Information System, PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, Android
