Abstract

Designing of management information systems at KPRI UNP savings and purpose to generate a savings and loan system design and web -based SMS gateway multiuser and provide services in the process of membership management, management of deposits, loan management and capital management. To achieve the goal of this application using a programming language Java2 Enterprise Edition ( J2EE ), Java2 Standard Edition ( J2SE ), and the MySQL database authentication level configuration in the form of a username and password. To provide data and information security MD 5 and session is used in password. With the savings and loan management information systems and web based SMS gateway can provide ease of certain stakeholder to perform data processing deposits loan data, the data search process and facilitate the process to generate the report. The information distribution’s process of saving and loand management information sistem on KPRI UNP can be accessed online and through SMS media. Abstract

Computer technology has increasingly developed in its use. Along with the times, computers are widely used in various fields. One of the uses of technology is that it can be used as an information system for the community and those who need it. This information system does not only collect data from Kotogadang residents in various regions, but also provides up-to-date information about the situation occurring in the Kotogadang area in Bukittinggi and the activities that will be held in the Kotogadang area. So that Kotogadang residents who are in various regions can find out the information there. One method that is quite easy and efficient in the development of information system applications is to strengthen the relationship between fellow citizens of Kotogadang wherever located. Kotogadang citizen association information system is designed using the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language with the CodeIgniter Framework, JavaScript, and using the MYSQL database. With this system can help Kotogadang residents in various regions in getting the latest information about meetings, sad news, and news of what is happening in the Kotogadang area in Bukittinggi. Keywords: Information System, PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL.

Abstract

The design of this application describes how an android-based quiz application that can help students in learning. The application made is the application of quiz in Computer and Basic Network subjects in class X. This application contains material, syllabus, and quiz. This quiz has three levels of quiz level, they are easy level, normal level, and hard level. Android-based application designed using the Java programming language and developed using PHP and MySQL as database design and data management. The method used in the design is the waterfall method which consists of system requirements analysis and system design. Abstract

Tujuan pembuatan alat ini adalah untuk menghasilkan perangkat keras (hardware) dan perangkat lunak (sofware) sistem keamanan sepeda motor untuk mencegah tindak kejahatan yang dapat dikendalikan melalui perangkat smartphone dengan koneksi nodeMCU sebagai pemancar WiFi. Perancangan dan pembuatan sistem secara keseluruhan menggunakan metode reverse engineering dengan tahapan mempelajari prinsip komponen, menganalisa pemasangan komponen, membandingkan keunggulan, kelemahan produk sejenis, dan melakukan perancangan produk baru. Pada smarthpone android dihasilkan aplikasi remote motor yang telah dibuat di MIT Inventor2, yang mana terdapat dua mode sistem keamanan sepeda motor. Pertama mode aman dan yang kedua mode normal. Mode aman yaitu apabila kenoksi hotspot WiFi terputus sepeda motor akan otomatis tidak bisa dihidupkan walaupun menggunakan kunci T. Mode normal yaitu kondisi motor akan dikembalikkan seperti awal, tanpa pengaman yang bisa dihidupkan dengan kunci kontak walaupun koneksi hotspot WiFi smartphone terputus.Kata kunci :Keamanan Sepeda Motor, Smartphone, NodeMCU. The purpose of making this tool is to produce hardware (hardware) and software (software) for motorcycle safety systems to prevent safety measures that can be done through smartphone devices with nodeMCU connections as WiFi transmitters. The design and manufacture of the whole system use a reverse engineering method by completing basic components, analyzing the installation of components, comparing the strengths, weaknesses of similar products, and designing new products. On Android smartphone generated remote motorbike applications that have been made at MIT Inventor2, which are two modes of motorcycle security systems. The first mode is safe and the second mode is normal. Safe mode which activates disconnected WiFi hotspot disconnected the motorcycle will automatically not be activated using the T key. The Normal mode that is the condition of the motor will be reversed as before, without security that can be turned on with the smartphone's WiFi hotspot connection ignited.Keywords: Motorcycle Safety, Smartphone, NodeMCU.

Abstract

The objective of the research is the score of student's result test under standart value on subject Teknik Kerja Bengkel (TKB) at SMKN 1 Batipuh. it is caused by several factors less of  active participation of students’ and practise facilities.The purpose of this study was to reveal how big the contribution of active participation of students and  practise facilities and severally on learning outcomes. Data onstudents’ learning outcomesobtainedfrombasic electronicsengineeringteachers.While the active participation of  students’ and practise facilitieswas collected through questionnaires distributed to students by using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The result showed that that (1) active participation of students and practise facilities together contribute significantly to the learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh by 40.4%, (2) active participation of students’ to contribute significantly to the learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh of 25.8%, (3) practise facilities contribute significantly to the learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh of 28.4%. So it can be concluded that active participation students and practise facilities are jointly and individually contribute to the learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 Batipuh, increasing active participation studentsand sufficient practise facilities, the higher results learn.

Abstract

In this research to make the improvement of convenience that would later give also the satisfaction of any user that has used and be active in e-learning information systems which have been applied in engineering Electronics ft unp. This research using the method of end user computing satisfaction that in short EUCS are used to measure the level of user satisfaction with knowing the contribution factors of content, accuracy, shape, ease of usage and timeliness to be thorough by the author to apply to the scope of the Department of electronics engineering ft unp. This research using quantitative research, then conducted a descriptive analysis, inductive analysis, multiple regression and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis of the data indicates that the variable in the method of EUCS jointly contribute the same significance of 45% to the satisfaction of users of the e-learning information systems in the Department of electronics engineering achievements in the unp ft. from research that has been done, is expected to be contributed to the Administration's e-learnngi in order to improve the quality of e-learning on the campus of the State University of padang in General and in the Electrical Engineering Universitas Negeri Padang in particular. Keywords: information systems, End User Computing Satisfaction, E-learning.

Abstract

The parameters of a rectangular microstrip antenna are intensely determined by the permittivity of the substrate, the thickness of the substrate, and the resonant frequency. Generally, to get the antenna parameters, a complex mathematical formula is needed to solve. For this reason, an intelligent method is offered to determine antenna’s parameters more easily. In this study, an artificial neural network method with backpropagation algorithm is used to overcome the problem. The network is trained using the Levenberg–Marquardt algorithm. The data used were consisting of 80 training data and 15 testing data. The results have shown that the artificial neural network learning method was successfully utilized to calculate the patch length, the patch width, and the feed point of a rectangular microstrip antenna, where the precision of the resonant frequency obtained of 93.33% at an error of ≤ 0.5%, and 100% at an error of ≤ 1%. However, the artificial neural network method with backpropagation algorithm is quite accurate for determining the parameters of rectangular microstrip antennas.Keywords: Artificial neural network, Backpropagation, Microstrip antenna, Resonant frequency

Abstract

The internet world in the globalization era is now developing. Anyone and anywhere can access the internet if you already have the tools and connections are adequate. There are two-ways relationship in accessing a web, they are Client and Server. Good Web Server performance can affect the quality of two-ways relationship between Client and Server. There are two Web Servers that are widely used today are Apache and Nginx. As a media content provider is expected to meet all the needs of users, especially in terms of performance of the device itself. To prove how the apache and nginx Web Server performance compare to the data request by the user, it is necessary to do a test and compare the parameters of each Web Server. Based on the problems above, the authors want to analyze and compare the performance of both Web servers are Apache and Nginx, so users can choose the best Web Server. The author only compares the parameters of throughput, connection, request, reply and error by assigning load to each test and performed on attributes that exist on beritalinux.com virtually. After testing, the results obtained where in responding and connecting data that requested by the client of web application server nginx was superior to apache. From these results, it is recommended to admin on beritalinux.com to use nginx web server for better website performance.Keywords: Analysis, Performance, Web Server, Apache, Nginx, HTTPERF

Abstract

The background of this research has by problem  learning outcomes in digital technique subject was low then student in electronics technique majors of FT UNP, where 93,68% student which not yet reached value ≥ B. This research is purposed to reveal the contribution style learn and cognitive ability to learning outcomes in subject of digital technique in electronics technique majors of FT UNP. This research type is descriptive which have the character of correlation.The population of this research was totaled of95 people and sampel 49 people student study program education electronics technique of semester january-june 2013. Using technique of random sampling (Simple Random Sampling). Data learning outcomes student obtained in subject of digital technique in electronics technique majors of FT UNP. While data style learn and collected cognitive ability to enquette by using scale of likert which have been tested validity and reliability. data were analyzed use statistical methods constructively Microsoft Excel software 2007.The result of data analysis showed: (1). style learn to give contribution equal 18,38% to  student learning outcomes in Majors Technique Electronics of FT UNP (2). cognitive ability give contribution equal  22,56% to studentlearning outcomesin Majors Technique Electronics of FT UNP (3). style learn and cognitive ability by together give contribution equal 25,61% to student learning outcomesin Majors Technique Electronics . Become can be concluded that style learn and cognitiveability  have contribution to learning outcomes, progressively style goodness learn student in course of learning to teach andcognitive ability excelsior of student, hence result learn of excelsior.Keywords: Style Learn, cognitive ability, Learning Outcomes,                Descriptive Correlational, Simple Random Sampling.
