Abstract

Indah Surya Furniture Shop still uses simple media in carrying out its business activities. Product promotion still uses brochures, banners and radios. While the product ordering process still uses WhatsApp and telephone, and for the sales report it is still made manually so that simply the media used indicates that the sales results have not been optimized. In order to increase sales results the system should be able to promote products easily and can order products quickly. Therefor, a web-based e-commerce system is used to help owners promote and market their products. The presence of an e-commerce system is expected to help owners market their products, and can help consumers buy products according to their needs. The design of the e-commerce system uses UML modeling (Unified Modeling Language) by using object-oriented visualization diagrams. The programming language used is the PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language based on CodeIgniter and Javascript, with MySQL as the Database Management System (DBMS) and Sublime Text 2 as editors. The resulting web-based e-commerce system can market products in a wider area and can provide information about products quickly, and with this e-commerce system consumers will be easier to order products. Keywords: E-commerce system, Web, Codeigniter.

Abstract

Programming is a vocational subject in the Vocational School majoring in Software Engineering and Electronics. Programming is classified as a subject that is less desirable and difficult for students, because these subjects are not graphically based and students do not understand the basic structure of the program. And less Affective use of conventional learning resources as the main source of the learning. With the existence of smartphones can be used as an additional source in the world of education. One of them is the use of smartphones as learning media. The purpose of this study is to produce learning media that can help teachers and students in the learning process by loading educational games that can attract students' interest in learning. This application is made using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Prototype method, using an Android-based java programming language, by applying game education algorithms and word game genres where players must arrange random letters into coherent sentences, the random letters will be matched with the answers stored in the database to be the correct answer. The content in the application is the 2013 curriculum syllabus. The material consists of RPP and teaching materials for each basic competency. Ebooks, articles and videos that discuss basic programming. Evaluation is a practice question to measure the level of understanding of students and quiz games in the form of stacking words to train students' memory about basic programming.Keywords: Android,  Programming, Game education. word game

Abstract

This research was focusing on the low of student’s learning outcome, specially on Basic Electronics subject at SMKN 5 Padang. The objective is to reveal the effect of applying inquiry learning model to the subject. By using true experimental with simple random sampling; one of probability sampling tecnique, the model wa enducted in experiment class. A control class where STAD type of cooperative learning model, was also implemented to compare the treatment. The primary data was measured by structured  test (Pre-test and Post-test) according to basic competences described of the subject. based on the t-test result, complying the pre-requisite test such as normalityexamination, this research found that t>t0 (1,742 > 1,701). However, the result has shown that inquiry learning model is providing better student’s learning outcome than STAD model. Therefore, the inquiry model is more effective than STAD model as research conclusion.              Keywords: learning outcomes, learning model, Inquiry, Student Team Achievemnt Division.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the fact that the field is found in SMK Negeri 1 Padang, a class X student learning outcomes Technik Audio Video obtaining substandard minimum completeness criteria in subjects assigned Menerapkan Dasar - Dasar Teknik Digital school is 70.00. The purpose of this study was to reveal the contribution of the motivation on learning and facilities and infrastructure outcomes of students in subjects the Menerapkan Dasar - Dasar Teknik Digital in majors class X Technik Audio Video at SMK Negeri 1 Padang. This is a descriptive correlational study. The population in this study was student of class X at SMK Negeri 1 Padang are 62 students. While this research sampling technique is proportional random sampling. The sample in the study were 38 students of class X in SMK Negeri 1 Padang. Data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). From the results, (1) motivation on learning (X1) to contribute to student learning outcomes of 18.8% (2) facilities and infrastructure (X2) to contribute to student learning outcomes of 38.8% and (3) The percentage contribution of variable motivation on learning (X1) facilities and infrastructure (X2) jointly to the student learning outcomes (Y) is equal to 48.1%. This shows the better motivation on learning and facilities and infrastructure to learn the students' learning outcomes will be better anyway. Keyword: Motivation on Learning and Facilities and Infrastructure. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Cooperative Learning model of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type to the learning outcomes of Basic Electricity and Electronics in class X TAV students at SMKN 1 Kinali. This type of research is a quasi experiment with a randomized control group only design. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The research sample XTAV1 (control class) is applied to the conventional learning model and XTAV2 (experimental class) is applied to the TAI learning model. The research data are the posttest value of the experimental and control class. Then the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test were analyzed. Based on the research data, the mean value of the control class was 76,30 and the experiment was 84,10. Hypothesis test results at a significant level α = 0,05 obtained tcount 3,14 and ttable 1,69 (tcount>ttable) can be identified Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The test results provide an interpretation of the significant influence of learning outcomes by applying the TAI learning model in the subjects of Basic Electricity and Electronics class X TAV in SMK N 1 Kinali. Keywords:TAI Learning Model, quasi experiment, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem monitor kebakaran jarak jauh berbasis android dengan sistem Internet of Things (IoT). Dengan sistem ini perangkat bisa berkomunikasi menerima dan mengirin data. Proses penelitian ini dirancang dengan sistem pengamanan rumah yang terdiri dari NodeMCU dan sensor suhu yang dikoneksikan dengan internet. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental (Experimental Research). Dengan sistem IOT yang dapat mempercepat pengiriman data, informasi kebakaran yang dikirim dapat diketahui lebih cepat oleh user. Hasil penelitian ini merupakan implementasi dari perancangan sistem monitoring kebakaran dimana data yang dikirim dari kedua client yang berupa pesan dari data sensor dan sistem sensor suhu akan bekerja bila suhu lebih besar dari 37°C maka android memberi peringatan bahwa terjadi kebakaran. Pada suhu lebih besar dari 42°C modul relay akan bekerja dan menghidupkan pompa air untuk memadamkan api.Kata kunci : NodeMCU, Sensor Kebakaran, Android, Internet Of Things

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the performance of optical fiber as a transmission medium. This was conducted using the discrepancy modle, which made the comparison between the measured data with the standard used PT.Telkom and ITU-T. Object of this research is the value of attenuation and power link budget. Based on the measured data on each core is core 3,7,9,10,12,15,18,20, and 23 obtained the following values as 0.239 dB / km, 0.238 dB / km, 0.240 dB / km, 0.239 dB / km , 0.236 dB / km, 0.240 dB / km, 0.242 dB / km, 0.233 dB / km, 0.238 dB / km, and the results of calculations on the same cores with each core attenuation is 0.235 dB / km, 0.235 dB / km, 0.235 dB / km, 0.235 dB / km, 0.235 dB / km, 0.235 dB / km, 0.237  dB  /  km,  0.235  dB  /  km,  0.235  dB  /  km,  based  on  the  results  of  calculation, measurement and compared with standard attenuation values are in compliance with standards ITU-T and PT.Telkom because it does not exceed the maximum attenuation is 0.25 dB/km. Analysis performed with comparing the power in receive (Rx) between the results of the calculation of each core with measurement results and instrument sensitivity, but the overall results  of  the  calculation  and  measurement  is  still  at  the  maximum  value  of  threshold sensitivity system is -19 dBm. Abstract

Template matching is one of the techniques in digital image processing function to match each part of an image with an image into a template (reference). Template matching method is often used to identify the image of the character of letters, numbers, fingerprints, and other matching applications. In this final project will be made on the damage detection applications PCB track, this is due to PCB circuit paths that are too small and tight, so the detection manually, by using on the human eye will take a long time and a high degree of exhaustion. Making an application is intended to speed up the process detection of damage to the PCB track. The method used in this application is a method of Template Matching with Delphi programming language. Algorithms method Template Matching will classify the object, by comparing the image with a reference PCB with PCB input image. The results of applications  showed that PCB track damage detection method can detect with Template Matching damage on  the PCB track, which is marked by a red rectangular box if there is damage on  the PCB. If there is no damage on the PCB, then a warning box appears informing the PCB in good condition, without any defects. Keywords: PCB, Template Matching Method, Image Processing, Delphi

Abstract

In line with the increasingly rapid technology, not a few Vocational High Schools (SMK) are using technology in the service of students and even parents. In order not to compete with State and Private Vocational Schools especially in the North Aceh District of Aceh Province, the Web-based New Student Admission Application is important to be developed at the Babussalam Baktiya Integrated Private Vocational School in North Aceh District of Aceh Province to facilitate new prospective students in the New Student Admission process (PSB ) One effort to improve the New Student Acceptance process and improve service to prospective students, it requires an application that can carry out the New Student Admissions process which is not limited by place. Keywords: Information Systems, New Students, Based on Web, Web, PHP, SQL.
