Abstract

Abstract. Based on observations made on the slopes in the pit area east of the open pit PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya, found rock slope which has a height of 16 meters, slope angle is 74 and has many weak plane structures that can cause landslides. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the rock mass and the stability of the slope. From the analysis that has been done, the rock mass classification value is 50, with medium quality and safety factor value at saturation condition is 1,117, original condition is 2,779, dry condition is 2,749 and actual condition in field is 1,789. So it can be concluded that the slope condition is stable, except when saturated. Therefore, improvements need to be made in the form of reducing the slope angle to 66º, so that the value of the saturated slope safety factor changes to 1.596.Keywords: Open pit, slope, landslide, rock mass, safety factor

Abstract

Pemberaian batuan merupakan salah satu tahapan yang sangat penting dalam operasipenambangan. Metode pemberaian batuan yang umum digunakan adalah peledakan yang bertujuanuntuk memberai batuan sesuai ukuran fragmentasi yang telah direncanakan. Keefektifan kegiatanpeledakan menjadi salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan kegiatan pemuatan (loading material) yangsangat mempengaruhi ketercapaian target produktivitas penambangan. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengestimasi geometri peledakan optimum untuk meminimalisir persentase jumlah bouldersehingga kegiatan pemuatan (loading material) menjadi lebih efektif dan target produktivitastercapai. Studi kasus penelitian dilakukan pada 8 blok peledakan di Pit Durian Barat dan 8 blokpeledakan di Pit South Osela yang keduanya berada di PT J Resources Bolaang MongondowSulawesi Utara Indonesia. Data penelitian terdiri dari fragmentasi peledakan, digging time, cycletime, digging rate, dan produktivitas penambangan ore. Metode penelitian dilakukan denganestimasi geometri peledakan menurut teori R.L. Ash dan C.J. Konya, pemodelan statistik, serta ujitrial and error. Dari analisis data yang dilakukan, untuk mencapai target produktivitaspenambangan sebesar 700 bcm/jam maka persentase jumlah boulder adalah 3 %, digging time 7detik, cycle time 15 detik, dan digging rate 750 bcm/jam pada Pit Durian Barat, sementara padaPit South Osela persentase jumlah boulder 3 %, digging time 6 detik, cycle time 14 detik, dandigging rate 800 bcm/jam. Untuk meminimalisir persentase jumlah boulder maka perlu dilakukanrevisi geometri peledakan berdasarkan teori C.J. Konya dengan reduksi ukuran boulder sebesar4,26 s.d. 5,10 % dengan peningkatan produktivitas sebesar 141 s.d. 215 bcm/jam, dengan demikiantarget produktivitas ore dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Abstract. The problem in this study is that there is a function change of land from forest areas, agricultural land and cultural heritage into residential land, the tendency for fast-saturated land, high rainfall intensity and frequent occurrence of inundation (flooding). Based on infiltration rate data, the average infiltration rate of the study area of 0.0914 cm/minute is included in the classification of very low recharge areas (<0.1 cm/minute). Therefore it is necessary to design infiltration wells by looking at the infiltration rate, physical quality of water and lithology of rocks. This research was conducted at 31 different points. The data obtained are primary data which are direct observations in the field, namely data on physical quality of water by using water checkers and secondary data, namely the infiltration rate and lithology of rocks.Based on statistical analysis, physical quality of water, rock lithology conditions and land use greatly affect the placement of infiltration wells. Planning placement of infiltration wells is located in residential, trading and service land areas with a number of 23 point infiltration wells that are spread downstream of the Batanng Arau Watershed, Padang City.Keywords:   Infiltration Rate, Physical Quality of Water, Lithology of Rocks, Land Use, Infiltration Wells

Abstract

Abstract. Production target area (412 ha) which is charged at Limestone Crusher VI of 2,200 tonnes / h while real-time has not been reached, namely 1066.44 tons / hour using a combination of one unit of excavator loading EH 2500-6 to 6 HD conveyance unit 785-7. The research aims to gain the ideal amount of a combination of units excavator loading and transportation to meet the target in the area (412 ha). Type of research is descriptive quantitative empirical approach is through surveys and field observations. Efforts is increase work efficiency by maximizing the available working time in order to maximize productivity. After analyzing the obtained productivity mining equipment increased to 2230.12 tons / hour, then the unit conveyance reduced to 5 units, and the previous match factor MF = 1.44 increase to MF = 0.96 (approaching = 1). Furthermore, the effectiveness rate of 48.47% crusher unit increased to 101.37%.Keywords:  Target Production, Efficiency, Working Time, Productivity, Match Factor

Abstract

The slope geometry stability on the Sicincin-Malalak road section on KM 33 was analyzed using the limit equilibrium method by using mining software and then manually calculating the slope safety using the Fellenius method and testing using Hoek and Bray diagrams (1981). Type of the failure on the hill in KM 33 was an arc landslide (circular failure) because the landslide on the slope forms is a semicircle. Determination of the safe or not slope in the study location is guided by the Decree of the Minister of Public Works in 1987. Who proposes the road slope can be declared safe if it has a slope safety value without an earthquake above 1.35. As for conditions with earthquakes, the safety value of the slope must be above 1.2. Trial slope testing at the study site was carried out by slope slope every 5 ° from the slope of the 49 ° slope. The slope is then assumed under various conditions, it was dry, natural, saturated, and earthquake for slope of 44 °, 39 ° and 34 °. After analyzing and calculations using various methods, the slope with a 34 ° slope is a recommendation because it has a security value above 1.35 for conditions without earthquakes, the slope length is 31.625 m and the slope is declared safe. Abstract

Abstract.PT. Artamulia Tatapratama (PT. ATP) is a coal mining company with a surface mining system. As a result of not achieving the production target where one of the causes is the condition of the haul road, it is necessary to evaluate and improve the road. In this study, the geometry evaluation of the road will use the 1993 AASHTO.Based on the results of road geometry evaluation, the results obtained as follows: the actual straight road width is between 13-30 m while the theoretical road width should be 21.7 m. Actual road grades from Pit to disposal ranging from 2.47% to 11.30%. Cross slope from Pit to disposal is 440 mm / m. Superelevation figures of 26.88 meters curved is 0.04. So that the height difference between the inner and outer sides of the bend that must be made is 1.07 m. Actual productivity before road repair using a dump truck is Hitachi EH 1700 on average 98,309 BCM / Hour. Productivity has not reached the production target set by PT. Artamulia Tatapratama is 114 BCM / hour. As for productivity after road improvement 118,231 BCM / hour. The productivity has met the production target set by PT. Abstract

Abstrack. Based on the production data of overburden stripping in bloc B PT.Minemex Indonesi in maret 2018, overburden stripping production did not reach the target. To find out the improvement potential of a production process and the effectiveness of using equipment, it is necessary to do an analysis using the OEE method. OEE is known as one of the applications of total productive maintenance programs that have the ability to clearly identify the root of the problem and its causal factors to make the improvement effort to be more focused. After knowing the root of the problem, multiple linear regression statistical analysis is used to determine the relationship and the maximum limits of the obstacles so that the production can be achieved. The fishbone method is then used to find more detailed of the root problems and evaluate them by referring to the results of the multiple linear regression statistical analysis that has been obtained. However, the OEE value of each excavator still <85% and has not reached the world-class OEE value> 85%, it can be concluded that the condition of the equipment is not good. Abstract

PT. Guguk Tinggi Coal, is a coal mining company located in salak village, Talawi, Sawahlunto city, West Sumatra province. In executing the mining accidents that often occur is influenced by the perception of employee knowledge about K3 norms and the high level of accident risk that occurs. The purpose of this study to reveals the perception of employes PT. Guguk Tinggi Coal About the safety norm, Reveals the risk persentage of work accident occurring at PT. Guguk Tinggi Coal.Data collected or obtained directly from the respondents with direct observation in the field and direct interviews with employees that competent in companies and have relation with the object of research. The data taken are the conditions in the environment (mining area to the stock of the workplace files) as well as potential hazards that may occur, the employee's knowledge of safety norms and work programs of K3 management, workers' responses to the programs undertaken by K3 management.The results obtained are the employee's knowledge about K3 and how to evaluate the work activities are still low with the results obtained by the questionnaire test with a value of 3.35 for the implementation and 3.21 for the evaluation of this category is still quite good, there are still factors of work accident from unsafe conditions and unsafe actions, PT.Guguk Tinggi Coal should form a special management for K3 and provide training and guidance on the importance of occupational safety and health, management is also required to always evaluate the activities of the workers in intensive mining activities.

Abstract

Abstrak. Nagari Guguk Malalo di kecamatan Batipuh Selatan, kabupaten Tanah Datar berada di bagian pinggir danau Singkarak dan dilalui segmen patahan Sumani yang merupakan bagian dari sistem patahan geser menganan Sumatera. Berdasarkan Peta Prakiraan Wilayah Terjadi Gerakan Tanah Provinsi Sumatera Barat bulan November 2017 (Badan Geologi, Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi), kawasan kecamatan Batipuh Selatan termasuk kedalam zona potensi terjadi gerakan tanah menengah. Pada zona ini dapat terjadi gerakan tanah jika curah hujan diatas normal, terutama pada daerah yang berbatasan dengan lembah sungai, gawir, tebing jalan atau jika lereng mengalami gangguan. Selama periode tahun 2004 hingga 2017 tercatat 8 kali gerakan tanah yang terjadi di nagari Guguk Malalo. Dampaknya terhadap fasilitas umum dapat terlihat pada mesjid Nurul Islam yang mengalami nendatan dan retakan pada beberapa bagian lantai dan dindingnya. Dalam lingkup penelitian ini, dilakukan pembuatan peta kerentanan pergerakan tanah untuk nagari Guguk Malalo berdasarkan metoda kuantitatif menggunakan analisis SIG yakni dari peta tataguna lahan, peta kelerangan dan peta litologi. Untuk analisis kualitatif, digunakan data pengamatan struktur geologi dan litologi batuan. Hasilnya diperoleh bahwa 40,52% daerah di nagari Guguk Malalo memiliki potensi gerakan tanah yang tinggi, 14, 43% memiliki potensi gerakan tanah menengah dan 45, 32% memiliki potensi gerakan tanah rendah.Kata kunci: segmen Sumani, patahan geser Sumatera, peta kerentanan pergerakan tanah, metoda kuantitatif, metoda kualitatif

Abstract

Abstract. Natural disasters in recent years are very common and need preparedness, awareness and vigilance in the face of disaster, especially in the city of Solok, starting from earthquakes, landslides and other. To reduce the risk of disaster management is required in accordance with law number 24 year 2007 about disaster management.The absence of disaster mitigation training provided for students in particular SMA N 3 Solok and less optimal students ' role/young generation in disaster mitigation because students have not had the knowledge to mitigate make the dedication to conduct training mitigation and preparedness of disaster to them so that the participants understand about how mitigation and preparedness. This training is provided in the form of lectures, discussions, and field practices.After training was obtained the increase of knowledge about the mitigation of natural disasters by the students SMAN 3 Solok. At pre-training (before training) only 65.8% of students who understand the mitigation of natural disasters and at the time of post-training increased to 96.2% of students understand the mitigation of natural disasters..Keywords: Natural disasters, disaster management, mitigation and preparedness
