Abstract

Abstract. PT. Dempo maju Cemerlang is a company operating in the gold mining sector. Gold mining of PT. Dempo maju cemerlang using an underground mining system with the skrinkage method. Mining is carried out by tunneling the main entrance and access to the ore deposits . So that tunnel enlargement activities are carried out to facilitate access to the location and transportation of mining products. So that the tunnel causes a decrease in the safety factor from 3,576 to 1,772 so it is necessary to install a buffer system. The support system must be carefully determined so that its use is optimal , at the SOD level 7 location, the depth of 500- 510 meters has not been used. So that the installation of a buffer will be carried outsplit setaccording to the total collapse load obtained from the tunnel. Analysis needs to be done to determine the condition and rock mass class and to determine the proper installation of supports to the tunnel. The RMR value ranges from 49 - 59, which means the rock mass is categorized into class III rock (f air rock). The support for the split set that must be installed in the tunnel is 3 split sets per meter so that the security factor of the tunnel is stable, meaning it is in accordance with the expected safety factor. Keywords: Tunnel, Safety Factor, RMR-System, Ground Suppor

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Bhakti Karya Mandiri (PT. BKM) is a contractor company engaged in bauxite mining. In mining activities, the company uses mechanical tools, namely the Hino 500 FM 260 JD dump truck and the Kobelco SK 330 excavator. The use of these mechanical devices cannot be separated from the use of fuel. The actual consumption of fuel for transportation vehicles in the field in April 2019 was 14,632 liters / hour, this value exceeds the standard fuel consumption for transportation means of 13 liters / hour. One of the factors that affect fuel consumption is road conditions. In general, the maximum slope of roads that can be traversed properly by means of transportation, both up and down on hills, is 8% or 4.5˚. However, the reality in the field is that there are 14 road segments that exceed the maximum standard. Based on the calculation, the relationship between road slope and total resistance to fuel consumption when the dump truck is loaded is based on multiple regression analysis with the equation Y = 0.32412 + 0.01404 X1 + 0.00001851 X2. While the relationship between road slope and total resistance to fuel consumption when the dump truck is empty is based on multiple regression analysis with the equation Y = 0.089 + 0.00305 X1 + 0.00001983 X2.Keyword: Bauxite, Fuel Consumption, Total Resistance, Road Slope, Multiple Regression Analysis

Abstract

Abstract. Mining activities carried out by PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama Jobsite Binungan Suaran uses a combination method of digging and loading (excavator) and transportation equipment (dump truck). The mining system implemented by PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama Jobsite Binungan Suaran is a surface mining system with the open pit method. The application of the open pit method will cause the formation of large basins so that it is very potential to become a water storage area, both from surface runoff and groundwater. At pit 7 west PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama Jobsite Binungan Suaran, there is a sump located at an elevation of -101 masl. Directly below the sump is a coal seam. Economically, the layer is feasible to be mined, so that the sump drying is planned, it is necessary to evaluate the pump capacity currently used so that the drying process can run well according to the target time so that the mining process can be carried out immediately. A dewatering system is used to dry the sump. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done, the catchment area in pit 7 WEST is 312.04 ha, with a planned rainfall of 8.46 mm / day and a rain intensity of 1.14 mm / hour. Water discharge Surface runoff by rainwater in the catchment area 7 west is 24769.04 m3 / day, groundwater discharge is 386.12 m3 / day and evapotranspiration discharge is 128.61 m3 / day. So that the total volume of water that enters the 7 west sump pit is 25026 m3 / day. So, the number of Multiflo MF- 420EXHV pumps needed to compensate for the daily discharge in the MTBU-B area is 2 pump units, with a pump working duration of 20 hours / day. Keywords: Open pit, Pit 7 west, Sump, Water Discharge, Pump

Abstract

Abstract. Coal is a sedimentary rock formed from homogeneous organic deposits. Coal is spread in layers and each layer has a different quality. Due to the difference in quality at each coal seam, the coal blending process needs to be done to meet market needs. PT. Cahaya Bumi Perdana is a coal mining company located in Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra. PT. Cahaya Bumi Perdana does mining with underground mining method. In underground mining, the BT 04 tunnel and the BT 06 tunnel have different calories because they are located on different seams. The calories in the BT 04 tunnel have high quality fine coal with a calorific value of 6,183 Kcal / Kg and the calories in the BT 06 tunnel have high quality coarse coal with a calorific value of 7,795 Kcal / Kg. Meanwhile, consumer demand is 6,300 Kcal / Kg. Due to the coal calories that are not in accordance with consumer demand, a blending process is required. In this study, the method used for the blending process is trial and error method. In this research, there are 4 parameters used for testing coal quality, namely ash content (AC), volatile matter (VM), total sulfur (TS) and calorie value (CV). This coal quality parameter is determined by consumer demand with a value of ash content (AC) with a maximum value of 14%, volatile matter (VM) with a maximum value of 36.60%, total sulfur (TS) with a value of less than 1%, calorie value (CV ) with a value of 6,300 Kcal / Kg with a tonnage of 2,000 tons. The results of the study are based on laboratory tests conducted by PT. Cahaya Bumi Perdana is the value of ash content (AC) with a maximum value of 13,93%, volatile matter (VM) with a maximum value of 35.202%, total sulfur (TS) with a small value of 0.3965%, calorie value (CV) with a value of 6,577.9 Kcal / Kg with a ratio of high-quality fine coal tonnage 1,510 tons and high-coarse coal tonnage 490 tons or with a ratio of 3:1. There is a slight difference between the calculation using the trial and error method that the author did. The calculation result that passes consumer demand is the calorific value (CV), which 6,577.9 Kcal/Kg through 6,300 Kcal/Kg consumen demand. For this difference in calorific value, will be returned to the agreement between the company and the consumer. Keywords: Coal, trial and error, coal quality

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Jambi Prima Coal is a coal mining company located in Pemusiran Village, Mandiangin District, Sarolangun City, Jambi Province. In the process of production overburden in pit 3, the company uses 1 excavator and 5 dump trucks. In July 2019 overburden production was not achieved. PT. Jambi Prima Coal targets overburden production of 50,000 Bcm / month. However, the actual production of overburden only reached 86.52% of the total production target. This is due to the mismatch of the loading and transportation equipment and the low working efficiency of the mechanical equipment. This study uses the queuing method and production capacity which aims to get the match factor of the loading and transportation equipment in order to achieve the specified target. Based on the results of calculations using the queuing method, it was found that work efficiency increased from 69.5% to 91% resulting in overburden production of 61,669.29 Bcm / month where there was an increase in production by 36.82% and using queuing simulation, the performance of the equipment was matched. MF = 1.01 where the transportation means have experienced no waiting time. By using the production capacity method, the optimal dump truck settings are obtained from 5 units to 4 units. Keywords: Production, Work Efficiency, Overburden, Queue, Production Capacity, Excavator, Dump truckAbstract.
