Abstract

Abstract. Sawahlunto City is one of the areas that has very potential coal resources in West Sumatra and is very interesting to work on. PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya is a company engaged in coal mining located in Parambah, Talawi District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra. PT.Allied Indo Coal Jaya carries out coal mining with underground and open pit mining systems. Coal mining with an open pit system includes land clearing, stripping of topsoil, removing topsoil for disposal, loading and transporting coal to stockpiles. . In the topsoil and coal acreage activities requiring mechanical devices, one of the mechanical devices used is the Hino FM 260 JD dump truck and the Caterpillar 320 D excavator. The use of transportation equipment as the main equipment in mining operations cannot run without fuel. High fuel prices can affect mining operating costs. Factors that influence the increase in fuel consumption are the slope, the distance traveled and the load. PT AIC is successful in planning the slope of the haul road with a grade of 9%, it turns out that in the field there are many haul road slopes obtained by researchers of more than 10%. Incorrect road slopes can affect fuel consumption, cycle time and conveyance productivity so that it can affect production. Keywords: Sawahlunto, Fuel Consumption, Coal Mining, Slope.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Satria Bahana Sarana is a contractor company engaged in coal mining services located in Bangko Barat, Muara Enim district, South Sumatra province. PT Satria Bahana Sarana carries out the mining process using the open pit method. This method will cause the formation of a large basin so that it is very potential to become a water storage area. Based on field observations, there are many puddles of water around the mining front and haul roads, which can disrupt the mining process. Based on the analysis of rainfall data for 2010-2019, the planned rainfall was 482.82 mm/ day, with a return period of 2 years of rain. The method of solving the problem is done by analyzing several alternative solutions to problems related to handling the flow of water entering the pit, namely alternative I, a diversion channel that can minimize runoff discharge by 7,669 m3 / second. Alternative II for pump optimization of 6 units to compensate for the existing sump dimensions. Alternative III optimal sump dimensions to accommodate the total water discharge with a maximum volume 16,290 m3 . Based on the analysis of the three alternatives, an effective and efficient alternative I, with the estimated cost of Rp. 54,352,224.00.Keywords: Sistem Penyaliran Tambang, Catchment Area, Pompa, Sump, dan Saluran Terbuka

Abstract

Abstract. In andesite mining, PT. Koto Alam Sejahtera uses a series of work, namely using a digging and loading equipment to move material from the loading point to the dump hopper. Based on the results of field observations, the authors found that the actual data obtained were not in accordance with the target set by the company that the production target was not achieved due to several factors, including due to lost time and delay of the digging equipment, planned and not achieved production targets. As it should be, productive work time is not optimal. There are still frequent inconsistencies in work between the digging and loading equipment, where the digging tool often waits. This is due to the low actualization of working time against the productive time of the loading and transportation means, which causes a decrease in the efficiency of the work of the tools caused by various kinds of obstacles in the field that can actually be avoided. Keywords: excavator, Production, Effective Working Hours, Evaluation

Abstract

Absract. PT. Dempo Maju Cemerlang is a company focused in the gold mining industry in Indonesia. PT. Dempo Maju Cemerlang uses an underground mining system using the shrinkage method. Underground mining activities at PT. DMC is divided into two activities, namely production and development. Blasting activities play an important role in the mining cycle to unload ore or waste so that it can be taken out of the mining area. This study aims to produce openings as planned by the company with a better progress value. The success of a blasting can be judged by the results obtained. Blasting results at PT. DMC has not yet reached the progress target set by the company, namely 1.5 m / blasting. The average progress of each detonation is 1,216 m, the average actual blasting size is 20 cm, the actual blasting volume averages 4.0699 kg / m3 with an average powder factor value of 1.889 kg / ton, and the amount of explosives which is used for 22 blast holes, namely 20 kg. After designing and testing the recommended blasting geometry, the average progression value is 1.51 m, the resulting fragmentation is also better with an average size of 50 cm, an average volume of 5.0637kg / m3, an average PF value of 1.137 kg / ton, and the amount of explosives used for 22 blast holes is 15 kg. So after testing with the design geometry, an increase in the progress of the blasting hole was obtained by 0.294 m for one blasting, the volume also increased by approximately 0.9938 kg / m3, the PF value of the blasting result was smaller which meant that the fragmentation of the blasting result was more. good and there was a savings in the use of 5 kg of explosives for one front blasting. Keywords: Mine Progress, Blasting, Underground Mining, Blasting Results.

Abstract

Abstract. In meeting the criteria for consumer demand, PT. Wijaya Karya Bitumen strives to produce products according to consumer desires. Currently, the demand for specific natural asphalt content, namely 21% asphalt content and maximum water content of 2% with a total of 5000 tons makes it difficult for companies to meet these consumer criteria, therefore a mixing formula is needed for natural asphalt with different types of quality to meet consumer demand. The method used to obtain the mixing result was the simplex method with two variables, then the natural asphalt used for mixing was 19% bitumen content and 1.8% moisture content with 24% bitumen content and 2% moisture content. After calculating the results of the calculation of the results of mixing natural asphalt with a mixing ratio of 3: 2, the results of these calculations can be used for mixing natural asphalt following the criteria of consumer demand at PT. Bitumen Wijaya Karya. Keywords: Mixing, Simplek Method, Natural Asphalt, Bitumen, Water.
