Abstract

Abstract. Geomechanical testing is very important in the mining industry, both open pit, and underground mining. Geomechanics testing aims to determine rock strength. Rock strength is a major determinant of slope stability in open mines or opening holes in underground mines. There are several geomechanical testing methods, based on their nature, geomechanical testing consists of non-destructive tests and destructive tests. Based on location, geomechanical testing consists of in situ tests and ex-situ tests. One example of in situ and non-destructive testing is flat jack testing. The flat jack method is a method based on the measurement of the pressure needed to restore the stress released. Flat Jack generates known stresses in rock mass. Flat jack testing is carried out on the underground mine wall to get the stress value. Based on the calculation of the safety factor of the underground mine of PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya, at location 1 the values of fk = 1.41 (tensile stress) and fk = 1.89 (compressive stress) are obtained. At location 2 the value of fk = 1.23 (tensile stress) and fk = 1.63 (compressive stress). At location 3 the value of fk = 1.23 (tensile stress) and fk = 1.63 (compressive stress). Keywords: Flat Jack, Geotechnical, Rock Stress, Safety Factor, Underground Mining.

Abstract

Abstract. Blasting activity is an activity that aims to destroy the rock that is not able to diripping, but as a result of blasting activities will cause vibrations that disturb the surrounding environment including slope stability. After opsevation and processing the data it obtained the actual value of the safety factor (SF) in March at 2.204 dry conditions, the condition of half saturated 1,793 and 1.386 water saturated conditions. SF that influenced most Amaks ie 0.0267 g with the value of the safety factor under dry conditions 2.114; 1.716 half-saturated conditions; and 1.324 water saturated conditions. Next to find out the value determination of ground vibration safe limits due to blasting activities for slope stability, vibration testing was carried out with the result Amaks 0.398 g FK value of 1.279 in dry conditions with 2 meters, Amaks 0.216 g FK value 1.2284 half-saturated conditions with a distance of 4 meters, Amaks 0.0357 g value FK 1.303 saturated conditions with a distance of 6 meters. Furthermore, this value is used as a recommended value for vibration safe limits due to blasting of slope stability.

Abstract

Abstract. Coal is an important energy source as a substitute for oil and gas fuels. Along with the increasing demand for coal, especially for steam power plants (PLTU) and for other industries, there has been an increase in coal production. An increase in the value of the dollar exchange rate against the value of rupiah reaching Rp. 14.091/$ USD throughout 2019 based on CNBC Indonesia and with falling coal prices in the world market calculated based on the average by ICI only 66,27 USD/ton, impacting coal mining companies in the world as well as PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya. The importance of operating costs, owning costs and evaluating the need for loading and transporting equipment on production is certainly related to mining costs and the investment value to be incurred by the company and the production targets to be achieved by company. The relationship between production targets and the ability to produce equipment will determine the efficiency of operating costs and the cost of ownership and investment costs of equipment. With the NPV and IRR methods we can find out the feasibility of investing in loading and transporting equipment in relation to work efficiency and in the use of loading and transporting equipment used to meet these targets. Keywords: Effective Utilization, Operating cost, Owning cost, Net Present Value, Internal Rate Return

Abstract

The steps of the mining activities in PT. Aman Putra Toebillah includes the activities of land clearing, stripping the ground cover, the exploitation of coal, transporting, processing and marketing of coal. After the mining is finished, the ex of mining area will leave an opening hole. Therefore any company of mine obligatory to implement reclamation of ex mining area to maintain environmental sustainability. Based on Ministerial Regulation Number 7 Year 2014, reclamation are activities during of  mining to organize, restore, and improve the quality of the environment and the ecosystem to the function. Therefore, it takes a good planning, so the rate reclamation success can be realized.Mining avtivities include the arrangement of land reclamation. The Inpit Dump will be covered with land cover. Then on the top layer is covered with top soil as a medium growing plants. After the arrangement is finished then the Inpit Dump will be replanting (revegetation). To prevent the erosion, we made waterways, do care and give limes to settling pond to prevent the formation of acid mine water.Based on calculations of planning reclamation and revegetation, direct costs for reclamation activities and revegetation on the Pit D1 PT. Aman Toebillah Putra amount to Rp RP 14.104.226.892,00 and indirect costs amount to Rp 1.339.901.555,00. Then the total cost of reclamation and revegetation on the site amount to Rp 15.444.128.447,00.

Abstract

Abstract. Take into account mining optimization by taking into account the NPV value as the main reference factor of the Ultimate Pit Limite (UPL) that is used based on the division of levels obtained by comparing the sale value or the Net Present Value (NPV) of the Laterite Nickel Laterit. Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) Method. This method is an interpretation method with a simple block model approach by considering the surrounding points. The mining method that will be planned on Front X is an open pit method with a multi-tiered system. At PT ANTAM Tbk. UBPN Sultra makes block model based on division of levels which differentiates each zone. At Ni level <1.3 the layer is classified as waste or called top soil, Ni level <1.5 layer is still called waste or limonite while for the value of Ni level> 1.5 is called ore or saprolite The calculation of the Lerchs Grossmann dimension algorithm is basically the sum of costs and cumulative income in the pit limit. The modeling and calculation of the Grossmann Learch Method can be planned for a more optimal pit shape and in accordance with a more economical mining price. This method is far more complicated and the risk of human error is high to determine which pit is effective. This method considers all aspects.Keyword: Pit, Ultimate Pit Limit, Net Present Value (NPV), Nikel Laterit, Blok Model
