Abstract

Abstrak – Dalam rangka meningkatkan profesionalitas guru-guru yang terhimpun dalam wadah MGMP IPA SMP Kota Payakumbuh agar kualitas pembelajaran daring/online dimasa pandemi Covid-19 tidak menurun dibandingkan pembelajaran lurung/offline dalam keadaan normal, telah dilakukan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat(PKM) berupa pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran dalam bentuk MP4 sebanyak 5 kegiatan pada tanggal 2, 9, 16, 30 Oktober dan 14 November 2020. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari awal sampai akhir kegiatan menyimpulkan bahwa:1)Peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dalam mengembangkan video pembelajaran. 2) Kualitas kegiatan pelatihan berada pada kategori baik berdasarkan indikator indikator : a) tingkat partisipasi kehadiran peserta pelatihan rata-rata 87,2%; b) jumlah produk video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan sebanyak 63,6 % dari target yang direncanakan; c) berdasarkan data angket persepsi guru, kegiatan pelatihan memberikan manfaaat karena sesuai dengan permasalahan guru, dan dapat mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam merancang video pembelajaran dan peserta pelatihan berniat untuk tetap mengembangkan video pembelajaran setelah mengikuti pelatihanKeywords — Covid-19, pembelajaran online, video pembelajaran, kontekstual, profesionalitas guru, IPA SMP

Abstract

Abstrak – Dalam rangka untuk membangun learning community dan  meningkatkan profesionalitas  guru-guru  yang terhimpun dalam wadah MGMP IPA kota Sawahlunto, telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk Program Kemitraan Masyarakat  berupa pelatihan dan praktek kegiatan Lesson Study   sebanyak 5 kegiatan  dari tanggal  3 Agustus sampai 26 Oktober 2018 dengan 3 kegiatan yaitu  pelatihan penerapan pembeajaran IPA model Discovery Learning,  kegiatan lesson study,  evaluasi hasil kegiatan.   Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh  pada selama dan pada akhir kegiatan mennyimpulkanbahwa dengan pelatihan  kegitan lesson study .ternyata dapat membangun learning community antara  sesama guru dalam wadah MGMP IPA SMP kota sawahlunto yang terindikasi dari semakin meningkatnya kualitas persepsi guru terhadap lesson study,  dan  hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan terjadi perubahan hasil belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik. Keywords — lesson study, learnning community, profesionalitas

Abstract

Abstract – In order to build students' critical thinking skills through increasing the professionalism of teachers gathered in Payakumbuh MGMP IPA, activities in the form of Community Partnership Programs have been carried out with training and practice of Lesson Study activities from 7 September to 12 October 2019 with 3 activities, namely: The essence of critical thinking capability socialization, training in the application of science learning with scientific approaches, and the socialization and implementation of lesson study activities. Based on obtained data during and at the end of the activity concluded that by training the application of a scientific approach through the activity of lesson study was able to build a learning community of teachers in the MGMP IPA Middle School, in Payakumbuh which is indicated by the increasing quality of teacher perceptions of science learning, scientific approach and lesson study. Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bersifat insidental berupa “pendampingan teknis dalam mengimpleentasikan pendekatan saintfik  mata pelajaran IPA   SMP di Kabupaten Agam selama 3 bulan (Agustus-Nopember 2021) yang bertujuan untuk 1) meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan standar proses kurikulum 2013 dan tujuan sampingan ; 2) mendiskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses implementasi kurikulum tersebut pada mata pelajaran IPA pada SMP N di Kabupaten Agam.Hasil evaluasi kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa a) rata-rata kualitas perangkat pembelajaran yang disiapkan guru berada pada kondisi tersedia, tetapi belum lengkap terutama berkenaan dengan komponen RPP, media dan sumber belajar, aspek evaluasi, instrument evaluasi, dan bahan ajar b) pendekatan saintifik telah terlaksana tapi tidak sempurna, c) penguasaan konten dan kualitas persiapan pembelajaran guru masih rendah, d) pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA pada umumnya masih dipisah antara IPA Fisika dan IPA Biologi, dan e) pendapat informan tentang permasalahan IPA berasal dari beberapa faktor terutama, yaitu masih rendahnya kompetensi guru, dan kurangnya fasilitas pendukung kurikulum. Kata kunci : implementasi, pendekatan saintifik, keterpaduan, pelajaran IPA

Abstract

Revolution 4.0 has changed the demands of the world of education a lot. The national education system expects students to develop the potential for thinking in order to keep up with the times. K-13 is used as a solution to answer it so that learning combines the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes. Overcome, real conditions found that the learning materials in balance and rotational dynamics used in schools didn’t meet the scope of the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes as expected. One solution to this problem is to develop learning materials oriented to the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes in balance and rotational dynamics. The purpose of this research is to develop and determine the validity of the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes on teaching materials in balance and rotational dynamics for high school physics learning. The type of research is Research and Development by taking the ADDIE model which is reduced to the development stage. The subjects are 3 physics lecturers UNP and 3 physics teachers from SMAN 2, 4, and 12 Kerinci with the object being teaching materials consisting of lesson plans, textbook, and evaluation instruments. The results of data analysis obtained of validity values on lesson plans, textbook, and evaluation instruments according to lecturers and teachers respectively with a score 84,67% and 94,58%. Overall teaching materials get an average score 89,63% in very valid category and can be continued with field tests to determine its practicality and effectiveness in high school physics learning.

Abstract

In the 21st century, the ability to collaborate is one of the competencies to be achieved through learning. Therefore, that ability must be applied in schools. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of collaborative strategy in physics learning to the achievement of student learning outcomes in high school which was carried out in class X SMAN 12 Padang in the odd semester of the academic year 2019/2020. This research belongs to the Quasi Experiment Research with the Posttest Only Control Group Design. As the study population were all students of class X IPA SMAN 12 Padang. The sampling technique is Porposive Sampling followed by Cluster Random Sampling and obtained class X IPA 1 as an experimental class and class X IPA 2 as a control class. Research data in the form of student learning outcomes data obtained through instruments in the form of posttest on aspects of knowledge. The instrument used has fulfilled its validity and reliability through trials. The results showed that the posttest mean score of the experimental class was 68.82 higher than the posttest mean value of the control class that was 61.59. T test results at alpha level of 5% showed that the value of t count (4.09) > t table (1.99), so it was concluded that the difference in value was due to differences in treatment.

Abstract

In improving the quality of life in this 21st century era, one of the areas that is highly considered is education. There are three aspects that become the demands of the education sector today, namely character, competence, and literacy. in the competency section there is a skill called the 4C skill. 4C skills consist of communication skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, and creativity skills. 4C skills must be possessed by students in the learning process. One means of applying 4C skills is through teaching materials, one of them is Student Worksheets. In this research, a worksheet based on problem solving with strategy formation of critical thinking on the dynamics of rotation and elasticity has been produced.       This is a R&D research, it is research and development that is based on Sugiyono theory in his book and there is a kind of test that is validity to the product. The result of validity tests from three validators based on six components are 85.56%, 77.08%, 81.82%, 83.3%, 85.0%, and 80.0% with the overall average are 82.13% it can be categorize as very valid.

Abstract

In general, achievement of Physics competence of students in high school is still low. Observations result at SMAN 14 Padang, the causes is the strategy used is not fully centered on the activities of students, and the teaching materials that used have not been able to improve the thinking ability of students. This study aims to determine the Effect of Using LKPD oriented Metacognitive Strategy on Physics achievement of Student’s Competence in X Grade of SMAN 14 Padang. Research carried out included in the type of quasi experimental research (Quasi Experimental Design) with the design of Posttest Only Control Group Design. The study population is all MIPA X grade of SMAN 14 Padang in academic year 2017/2018. Samples were taken using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used is a test for knowledge competence, observation format for attitude and skill competence and completed with assessment rubric. Data on the three competencies were analyzed using t test at the real level of 0.05. Based on the result of data analysis, there were significant differences in both sample classes. The result of regression analysis shows that there is strong correlation between LKPD oriented metacognitive strategy to knowledge and skill competence. The result of product moment correlation analysis showed 55% value for knowledge competence and 33.54% for skill competence. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the use of LKPD oriented metacognitive strategies to the achievement of the competence of students in X grade of SMAN 14 Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of Curriculum 2013 on the four dimensions of knowledge taught in physics learning. At the Curriculum 2013 known metacognitive knowledge includes factual knowledge, conceptual knowledge and procedural knowledge. Metacognitive is the ability of students to control cognitive aspects. From the results of previous research, metacognitive knowledge of students is the lowest than the other three knowledges. Based on observation and interview in the school, the achievement of competence of students is still low, one of the causes is not much effort by teachers to develop metacognitive of students. Efforts to develop metacognitive of students can be done with metacognitive strategies. Learning that involves metacognitive is important to improve thinking ability and ability to solve the problems of students. One solution is to develop LKPD (worksheet student) oriented metacognitive strategy. The purpose of this research is to produce LKPD which is can to be used in physic learning, so that it is hoped that the competence of student can be achieved.Research conducted is research and development (R&D) using ADDIE development model that is reduced to the analysis, design and development. The research subjects consisted of three experts as a validator, physics lecturer FMIPA UNP, and two physics teachers to test the practicality of LKPD and one class X MIPA 4 SMA Adabiah Padang as practitioners to give response to LKPD.The result of research shows that LKPD oriented metacognitive strategy is in very valid category by experts with validity value 85,1%, and very practical according to teacher with practicality value 85,4% and is in practical category according to students with value 79,9%.
