Abstract

Human resources are a very valuable asset in a company where these resources are employees. Human Resources (HR) department is part of a company in charge of managing employees. HR managers have an important role to present data and workforce profiles, understand company needs, and provide recommendations regarding employee management to improve company performance. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that is in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) services and telecommunication networks in Indonesia. PT Telkom Regional VI is a part of PT Telkom which operates in the Borneo area. In daily operational activities, HR managers are asked to present a workforce profile. To present data, HR managers need to collect data from various sources. Due to different data sources, management has difficulty in reading labor data so that it can trigger a revision of data presentation. Repeating management of similar data also causes additional allocation of time and effort. Therefore, this study aims to develop the HR Operational Dashboard Website at PT Telkom Regional VI using the scrum model. The stages in the scrum include sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospective. The HR Operational Dashboard website was successfully developed using the scrum method with a total product backlog of 27 items in 6 sprints. This website can help HR manager presents accurate data and can be a media to support decision-making.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many infectious diseases other than COVID-19 are often neglected in their spread. One of the most common infectious diseases is Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI). STIs are reproductive tract infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and parasites, most of which are transmitted through sexual contact. The high incidence of STIs shows that the public's knowledge of STIs is still low. This study aims to determine the use of drugs and the characteristics of STI patients during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-2021 at RSUD Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda. This research is non-experimental. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, which is done retrospectively. The results showed a decrease and increase in the number of patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. The total number of STI patients in this study was 48 patients, consisting of 17 patients in 2020 and increasing to 31 patients in 2021. The most characteristics of STI patients during 2020-2021 are male patients, the majority of STI patients aged 17-25 years, high school education level, working as private employees, and unmarried. The most common types of STIs in 2020 were gonorrhea and syphilis in 2021. The most frequently used drug for the treatment of syphilis was the injection of benzathine penicillin, for the treatment of gonorrhea was azithromycin, for the treatment of condyloma acuminata was cefixime and for the treatment of genital herpes was acyclovir.

Abstract

Endophytic bacteria have been extensively studied as a source of new antimicrobial compounds. Research into new antimicrobials is important as an alternative to the treatment of resistant microbes. One potential source of antimicrobial compounds is the Taxus (Taxus sumatrana). This study aimed to investigate the antimicrobial activity produced by the endophytic bacteria of the Taxus. Endophytic bacteria were isolated from the roots of Taxsus plants growing in Mt. Singalang, X Koto District, West Sumatra. Bacteria were isolated by inoculating pieces of Taxus root tissue into a PDA medium. Endophytic bacteria were identified macroscopically and microscopically. Antimicrobial activity was tested with the test microbe using the spot test diffusion method. As a result of the research, 23 isolates of endophytic Taxus bacteria were obtained, of which 21 isolates were gram-positive and 2 isolates were gram-negative bacteria. The results of the antimicrobial activity test yielded only 2 isolates of endophytic bacteria with antibacterial activity.

Abstract

Pharmacies are a form of health service facility for the community, with the rapidly increasing number of pharmacies having a positive impact on the community, that is being able to compare prices from one pharmacy to another so that each pharmacy can provide better services at competitive prices. Competition for pharmacies, whether privately or publicly owned, is becoming more common. This makes the pharmacy business more competitive, including Fajar Farma Pharmacy. The purpose of the study was to determine the 7P marketing mix strategy applied at Fajar Farma Pharmacy and the relationship between the 7P marketing mix strategy and consumer satisfaction at Fajar Farma Pharmacy. The sample in this research was consumers who buy drugs at Fajar Farma Pharmacy. The sampling method used was non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. The independent variable in this study is the marketing mix strategy, which consists of product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence, and the dependent variable in this study is customer satisfaction with services. In this study, data analysis was done using a descriptive method, which means that no conclusions or generalizations are made. Inferential statistics were used in analyzing a sample of data so that the results can be applied to the population. Based on the results of research obtained from 350 respondents, the marketing mix strategy applied at Fajar Farma Pharmacy has gone very well. This is in line with the results of the average value obtained in the aspects of product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence, which are all in the "very good" category. The Spearman rank test results show that the relationship between the physical evidence aspect and the characteristics of the education respondents has the highest correlation coefficient value, with a result of 0.271 and a significant (2-tailed) of 0.000 0.05 and a weak relationship strength with a confidence interval of 95%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the superior rice farming of the Ciherang variety including the costs, revenues, income, profits, and feasibility of the Ciherang variety superior rice farming in Parigi Village, Bakarangan District, Tapin Regency. This research was conducted in May 2022. The data was collected in the form of primary data and secondary data using the Census sampling method. Analysis of the data used is a qualitative analysis that is processed descriptively and a financial analysis to calculate the cost, revenue, income, profit, and feasibility of Ciherang rice farming. The results showed that the average production was 4.337,5kg/farmer. The average total cost is Rp 11.931.789/farmer, the average revenue is Rp 18.056.250/farmer, the average income is Rp 9.227.469/farmer, and the average profit received by farmers is Rp 6.124.461. The ratio R/C value is 1,53. Thus, the superior rice farming of the Ciherang variety in Parigi Village, Bakarangan District, Tapin Regency is feasible to cultivate.
