Abstract

Catfish is a species of freshwater fish are easier to develop and market opportunities are promising, addition catfish also have good taste, high nutritional content, and the price is relatively cheap so it has the potential to be developed. However, based on preliminary surveys and the information obtained is known that some fish farmers pay less attention to the procedures or techniques fish rearing African catfish correct and profitable. therefore, this study aims to determine the technical and economic aspects of the business of enlarging catfish in the Fish Farmers Group Guntung Umbrella Village District of Runway Ulin Banjarbaru. This research uses survey and purposive sampling method. Sample been 8 each group of farmers with a simple random sampling method. The results showed that the technical enlargement conducted intensive catfish, catfish seed stocked two to three times a year, carried out during the rainy season. Economic aspects of the business of enlarging catfish profitable and worth the effort because of the value of production and the selling price is above the BEP production value of 300 kg and BEP Rp. 14 603, - / kg and Revenue acquisition cost ratio (RCR) effort is 1.28.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the superior rice farming of the Ciherang variety including the costs, revenues, income, profits, and feasibility of the Ciherang variety superior rice farming in Parigi Village, Bakarangan District, Tapin Regency. This research was conducted in May 2022. The data was collected in the form of primary data and secondary data using the Census sampling method. Analysis of the data used is a qualitative analysis that is processed descriptively and a financial analysis to calculate the cost, revenue, income, profit, and feasibility of Ciherang rice farming. The results showed that the average production was 4.337,5kg/farmer. The average total cost is Rp 11.931.789/farmer, the average revenue is Rp 18.056.250/farmer, the average income is Rp 9.227.469/farmer, and the average profit received by farmers is Rp 6.124.461. The ratio R/C value is 1,53. Thus, the superior rice farming of the Ciherang variety in Parigi Village, Bakarangan District, Tapin Regency is feasible to cultivate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Patin fish enlargement pond business in Banua Lawas Village, both from cultivation techniques, production results, revenue, income, profits, and business feasibility. Sampling using the census method with the number of respondents as many as 20. The results showed that the Patin fish enlargement pond business in Banua Lawas Village with 40 ponds with an average seed stocking of 12,100 and a total cost of IDR. 4,220,832,280, the revenue obtained was IDR. 4,299,700,000 with an average of IDR. 214,985,000, the income received was IDR. 513,688,627 with an average of IDR. 25,684,431, the profit obtained in the Patin fish enlargement pond business in Banua Lawas Village was Rp. 78,867,720 with an average of IDR. 3,943,386. The business carried out in Banua Lawas Village is worth working on but has a very small RCR value of 1.02 where every capital spent of IDR. 1 will generate a profit of IDR. 1.02.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the attitudes of farmers toward agricultural insurance programs and to explain the reasons for their participation or non-participation in these programs. Both primary and secondary data were used as sources of information. A total of 40 farmers were selected using stratified random sampling. The results revealed that program participants had a neutral attitude towards the Manarap Baru Village Rice Farmer Insurance Program (AUTP), with an index of 3.18. At the same time, non-participants tended to disagree, with an index of 2.54. The main reasons for farmers not participating in the AUTP program varied, with some citing a lack of understanding about the program despite efforts by the insurance company to provide direct counseling. Conversely, the reasons for farmers joining AUTP included various advantages, such as financial protection against the risk of crop failure, reduced loss risk, and an easy claims process in case of loss.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the process of making raw noodles, analyze costs, revenues, profits, business feasibility, and the challenges faced during production. The research uses a case study method focused on the home industry business Widodo Food. Data collected includes both primary and secondary sources. The noodle-making process involves ingredient preparation, mixing, sheet formation, noodle cutting, rolling, and packaging. The results show the total cost of the raw noodle business is IDR 158,510,329 per month, with a production volume of 20,020 kg per month and a selling price of IDR 13,000 per kg. Consequently, the business generates a monthly revenue of IDR 260,260,000 and a profit of IDR 101,749,671. With an R/C Ratio of 1.64, the business is considered feasible. Challenges include damage to the roll press machine, power outages, and the lack of complete personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees.
