Abstract

This research was motivated by the high independence of school dropouts in Jorong Koto Baru Lembah Gumanti District, Solok Regency, which was marked by their own income and their participation in community activities. The independence of teenagers dropping out of school was allegedly due to the efforts of parents in establishing their independence. The total population in this study were 25 teenagers who dropped out of school with a sampling of 60% so that there were 15 people. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive with percentage calculation. The results of the study found that, (1) the opportunity given by parents, (2) communication conducted by parents, and (3) the responsibility given in the formation of independence in Jorong Koto Baru was categorized as very good.Keywords: Efforts, Independence

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of parental participation in parenting activities in PAUD Sinar Gunung, Padang City. This lack of parental participation is thought to lack understanding about parenting. This study aims to (1) describe the understanding of parents, (2) describe the participation of parents and (3) see the relationship between understanding and parenting participation in parenting programs.This type of research uses correlational quantitative methods. The population in this study were 25 parents who interacted directly with educators and registered their children in the PAUD Sinar Gunung institution. Samples were taken as much as 60%. The number of samples is 15 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and test questions in the form of questionnaires, while data collection tools in the form of a list of statements and questions. The data analysis technique of this study uses percentage and rank orders.The results of the study can be seen that (1) parents 'understanding of parenting programs is still low, (2) parental participation in parenting activities is still low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between parents' understanding of parenting programs and their participation in activities parenting.Keywords: Parents Understanding, Participation, Parenting Program

Abstract

This research was motivated by the success of the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio in carrying out randai activities, this was seen from the structuring of the organization carried out by the management staff in the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio. The purpose of this study is to describe smart organization in terms of determining activities and personnel, delegating authority, and determining tools and infrastructure. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were clever participants at the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio. The sampling technique in this study is stratified random sampling of the entire population. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, while the questionnaire data collection tools. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that: organizing the smart activities in the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio has good personnel determination and activity, as well as delegation of authority and the determination and use of tools and equipment that are good at supporting success.Keywords: Activities and Personnel, Delegates, Randai Organizing

Abstract

This research was motivated by the active phenomenon of computer technician training at the Prima Data Institute Padang in Padang. This is evidenced by the presence, attention, concentration and activity of student in the learning process. This study aims to look at the application of quantum teaching learning strategies at the prima data institute in padang. This research is quantitative descriptive reseach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Samples were taken as much as 75% of the population so there were 15 people. The technique of collecting data uses a questionnaire. Data collection tool is a list of statements. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results showed that the quantum teaching learning strategy at the Prima Data Institute in Padang from the aspects of growth, natural, namai, demostrated, and celebrating the applied by the instructor is very good. This is evidenced by the majority of students giving statements always. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that instructors continue to improve their activity and maintain quantum teaching learning strategies in computer technician training at the Prima Data Institute in Padang.Keywords: Quantum Teaching, Learning Activity

Abstract

This research was motivated by the high enthusiasm of the people in participating in the PKK program skills training program in Sungai Pasak Village. This is allegedly due to the intrinsic motivation of the citizens when participating in skills training. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were citizens who participated in activities PKK skills a 25 people. The sample in the study amounted to 20 people. The results showed that the intrinsic motivation of citizens in participating in educational activities and skills of the family welfare empowerment program in Sungai Pasak Village, District of East Pariaman, was seen from the level of physiological needs, social needs, the need for appreciation, self-actualization needs, high category. Suggestions to PKK institutions to continue hold community programs that fit their needs.Keywords: Skill Education Program, Citizens, Intrinsic Motivation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the activity of the randai trainees in Korong Kasai, who are generally teenagers who are in Korong Kasai, this is presumably because the trainer uses a suitable strategy. Apart from that, there are also some uniqueness in the randai training in Korong Kasai, which is a place or stage for randai training that is designed as attractive as possible so that participants are enthusiastic in randai training, there are taught ulu ambek which are martial arts for randai participants, and required deta use training takes place. This study aims to describe how the randai training strategy used by the smart trainer in Korong Kasai Nagari Tapakis, Padang Pariaman Regency. Components of training strategies, namely the material used and taught, the media used, and evaluations used. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The author's findings, namely training material in the form of smart movements that do not have the name of the movement and coupled with martial arts known as ulu ambek, use practical methods and auditive media (relying on sound abilities), and evaluation is done by the coach instructing participants to repeat re-randai after the randai training is complete.Keywords: Training Strategy, Randai, Ulu ambek

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the personal characteristics of students (learning citizens) and the business potential that is relevant to life skills education programs at the Community Learning Center in Tanah Datar District. This study uses a descriptive quantitative survey method. This study uses 60 samples from 120 population people. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively descriptive, then clarified with the focus of group discussion (FGD), interviews, observation and verification of documentation. The results showed that participants in the life skills education program in several Community Learning Centers in Tanah Datar District were generally of productive age with adequate formal education (high school level), from pre-prosperous families, and did not have a permanent business. Based on the search for interests, existing skills, and other environmental resource potentials, the appropriate business developed in the future is a business that produces goods from the agricultural sector and goods from business dress, sewing or embroidery skills.Keywords: Life Skills Education, Personal Characteristics, Business Potential

Abstract

The research was motivated by the success of participant in training program at learning and training religious center Padang, this is may cause by credibility of widyaiswara in learning communication. The aim of this study is to see the credibility widyaiswara in learning communication seen from the aspect of ethos, pathos, and logos. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population sample of this research is the participant of training at at learning and training religious center Padang amount of 30 participants. The technique of this research is cluster random sampling, the sample that is taken about 15 participants. The data collection technique is by questionnaire. While the data collection tool is questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique by percentage formula. The research found that (1) the credibility of widyaiswara in learning communication seen ethos aspect is very credible, (2) the credibility of widyaiswara in learning communication seen pathos aspect is very credible, (3) the credibility of widyaiswara in learning communication seen logos aspect is very credible.Keywords: Widyaiswara, Credible, Communication Learning

Abstract

This research motivated by the large of children aged 5-6 years who have quite high reading ability in Jorong VII Pasar Lama Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency.This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this reaseach were parents who had children aged 5-6 years in Jorong VII Pasar Lama Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency, amounting to 35 people. Samples are taken with the intention or purpose of 21 parents. Data analysis techniques use a percentage formula.The results of the reseach: 1) parental support to provide guidance in the form of directing, accompanying, and rectifying can be categorized as good. 2) Furthermore, parents' support to give praise in the form of verbal non-verbal praise can be categorized as good. 3) parental support to provide encouragement in the form of giving gifts and providing facilities can also be categorized as good. Abstract

The study objectives of this study are to describe the learning material, learning methods, learning resources, and learning infrastructure used in the BLK Sijunjung preparation education and training. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of the entire area of the object used as the research sample. The selected sample must represent or represent all participants, namely the inmates who take the skills training to receive 32 people. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Research findings 1) Materials provided by general instructors, most of whom are assisted by people who understand and understand the learning materials that are needed by the learning community can provide benefits / assistance to their members. 2) Learning methods used by citizens in skills training have been well implemented so that the assisted citizens can be directly applied / applied in their lives. 3) Learning resources used by tutors for the majority of the training people have been well implemented so that the assisted citizens can be directly applied / applied in their lives. 4) Facilities and infrastructure used by tutors in learning skills training have been carried out and implemented well by the assisted residents, facilities and infrastructures used are quite complete.Keywords: Sewing Skills, BLK
