Abstract

One of the success of the Early Childhood Education Institution in society is based on the teacher’s factor. The problem facing by the Early Childhood Education Institution in the sub-district of Koto Tangah is the lack of the creativity of the teachers to use modern media that will motivate children to play while learning. Until now, Early Childhood Education teachers still use traditional media in the teaching and learning process, when it looks outdated and less able to motivate children in learning. This training aims to help the teachers to be creative Early Childhood Education’s teachers in making an animation learning media Web-based. Through the training of animation learning media Web-based, the teachers can improve their ability in applying various media. Skill training method  in making an animation media-based uses; (1) speech method is used to deliver the material theoretically about the concept of Early Childhood Education and the learning characteristics, (2) discussion method is used by the  Early Childhood Education’s teachers to discuss about how to make an animation media web-based, (3) experiment/ practice method  is used to train the Early Childhood Education’s teachers in having an ability in making an animation media, each teacher tries to create an animation media web-based directly. The subject of this research is the 21 teachers, taken from each delegation of the Early Childhood Education Institution in Koto Tangah, Padang. The result of this research for the community can be described: (1) Early Childhood Education’s teachers comprehend characteristics and learning strategies for early childhood, (2) some of them have already skilled, creative in creating web-based animation learning media. It is suggested to the school to always motivate and facilitate the Early Childhood Education’s teachers in creating a good learning media following the advancement of science and technology. The Early Childhood Education’s teachers are expected to have continuous training to improve their creativity in creating a good and varies learning media.

Abstract

Women's participation in this case is housewives in supporting the family economy and children's education is currently very much needed. This is due to the increasing demands and needs of life today. In addition, if observed today, there has been a decline in the moral behavior of children and adolescents today, requiring serious handling by the family. The same thing was felt by the people of Lubuk Jantan, Lintau Buo Subdistrict, this problem was allegedly caused by the low understanding and skills of mothers about the character education and productive economic stability they had. This community service activity aims to enable housewives to (1) have skills in making cheap, lively, quality (3M) snacks based on local ingredients. (2) For young mothers to have motivation in enterpreneurship. (3) For young mothers to have the ability to market the results of their businesses. (4) For housewives to be able to shape their children's character towards a better direction. The target of this service is housewives in the Lubuk Jantan region, totaling 20 people. The results obtained from this service are, as a whole, the housewives who have been programmed already have some skills in making cheap, lively, quality snacks from local ingredients such as: from sea fish, from cassava, from white rice and glutinous rice, from flour and various kinds of pudding. In general, mothers who take part in the training have been able to instill the value of character values for children, because along with skills training, they are also given knowledge about planting character values in the family.Key Words: Training to Make Snacks, Housewives

Abstract

Level moral development in early childhood in Kenagarian Lunang Barat, Kecamatan Lunang, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan is still low category. This is allegedly due to the low attention give by parents. This study aims to reveal a picture of the attention given by parents to children, a picture of the level of early childhood moral development and the relationship between the two variables. This research is correlational research, with population and sampled are parent. Sampling with area random sampling technique. Tools for data collection used in the form of questionnaires and data analysis technique using the formula percentage and product moment formula. The results of the study include: (1) Attention given by the parents is still low category. (2) The level of early childhood moral development is still low category. (3) There is a significant relationship between the attention given to parents and the level of early childhood moral development. The suggestions in this study are that parents need to improve understanding, knowledge, and increase attention to children, so that children can show the good level of moral development.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of the Faculty of Education students to produce innovative scientific work. This is allegedly related to the implementation of the training carried out. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the implementation of PKM training held by BEM FIP. This study was classified as quantitative descriptive, the study population was all students who took part in the 2015 PKM training, and a sample of 40 people. The sample selection technique uses cluster random sampling. The data in this study are student responses to the implementation of PKM training, and data sources are students who take PKM training. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire and the analysis technique used is the percentage. The results showed that students who took PKM training responded quite well to the implementation of PKM training conducted by BEM FIP, but for material and time needed improvement because the training material was more theoretical and minimal practical, and the need to provide time for training under the guidance of outside instructors training schedule.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih rendahnya hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran menjahit di PKBM Bunga Tanjung, Tarusan Pesisir Selatan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya pendekatan kontekstual yang diterapkan tutor terhadap warga belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran menjahit, gambaran hasil belajar dalam mengikuti pembelajaran menjahit, dan melihat hubungan antara pendvkatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran menjahit dengan hasil belajar di PKBM Bunga Tanjung, Tarusan Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh warga belajar yang mengikuti pelatihan menjahit yang terdaftar dari bulan Oktober-Desember di PKBM Bunga Tanjung, Tarusan Pesisir Selatan yang berjumlah 30 orang. Responden dalam penelitian ini, yaitu berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran menjahit masih rendah, (2) hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran menjahit dikategorikan masih rendah, dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran menjahit dengan hasil belajar di PKBM Bunga Tanjung, Tarusan Pesisir Selatan. Selanjutnya saran yang peneliti berikan adalah diharapkan kepada tutor agar menerapkan pedekatan kontekstual terhadap warga belajar dalam pembelajaran menjahit.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high interest of residents studying in the TPA Surau Nurul Iman in Taratak Kenagarian Sungai Abu, Solok Regency, which shows the high level of attendance, activity and discipline of the learning citizens. Researchers suspect that the cause of the high participation of citizens is due to new innovations. This study aims to describe the implementation of learning activities in the TPA Surau Nurul Iman in Taratak Kenagarian Sungai Abu, Solok Regency. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were 55 people studying at the TPA Surau Nurul Iman. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling, samples were taken at each level/study group as many as 38 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and data collection tools using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results showed that the implementation of learning activities was seen from sub-variables such as giving material, methods, sources, atmosphere and evaluation categorized as good. This is evidenced by the majority of the learning citizens stating "strongly agree" from each statement given.Keywords: Material, Methods, Learning Resources, Learning and Evaluation, Learning Atmosphere

Abstract

The research was distributed it is alleged by a reliable and professional instructors instill discipline is very well seen 60 people citizens learn to adhere to all applicable rules, his presence is high, his zeal to present and is active in the following training activities are driving. Type of this research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this 60 people. Samples taken by as much as 50%. The number of s ampel is as many as 30 people. This research data analysis techniques using a percentage. The research results showed that the construction of the discipline in this aspect of the regulations categorized very well given by the instructor, the construction of the discipline in the aspect of punishment is categorized very well given by the instructor, in the aspect of discipline construction the award is categorized very well provided by the instructor. Abstract

This research is motivated by the high participation of citizens learning in the training of Budidaya Jamur Tiram by UKM Ukhtina Suci in the Kelompok Tani Rohana Kudus Bungus Timur. Allegedly because of the learning strategy used by the instructor. This study aims to obtain information regarding: 1) learning strategies in the determination of methods by instructors, 2) learning strategies in the use of media by instructors, 3) learning strategies in patterns of interaction by instructors. This research uses a quantitative approach, a type of descriptive research. The population of this study were learning citizens who took part in training in the cultivation of Budidaya Jamur Tiram in the Kelompok Tani Rohana Kudus Bungus Timur in 2019, amounting to 15 people, all pupils were sampled called respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire, data collection tools are questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) learning strategies in the determination of methods by instructors were categorized as good, 2) learning strategies in the use of media by instructors were categorized as good, 3) learning strategies in interaction patterns by instructors were categorized as good. The conclusion of this study is the use of learning strategies in the training of Budidaya Jamur Tiram is categorized very well. Suggestions in this study are expected to instructors to further improve learning strategies and to the manager is expected to provide guidance.Keywords: Strategy, Participation

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high participation of learners English in the course of English Tutorial Center Padang, visible high level of attendance, liveliness and discipline of learners. Researchers suspect that the cause of the high participation of learners is due to the process of reward and punishment by the instructor in the learning activities. This study aims to describe the process of reward and punishment by instructors in English learning activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all students totaling 500 people. Sampling technique used is cluster sampling, samples taken at each level/study group as many as 50 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. While the data collection tool use a list of statements. Data analysis techniques use a percentage formula. The results show that rewards in of point, reward, and praise are categorized both given by the instructor, as well as punishments in prefentive and repressive forms categorized well given by the instructor. This is evidenced by the majority of students expressing "often" from each statement given.Keywords: Reward, Punishment, Participation

Abstract

This research was motivated by the success of the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio in carrying out randai activities, this was seen from the structuring of the organization carried out by the management staff in the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio. The purpose of this study is to describe smart organization in terms of determining activities and personnel, delegating authority, and determining tools and infrastructure. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were clever participants at the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio. The sampling technique in this study is stratified random sampling of the entire population. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, while the questionnaire data collection tools. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that: organizing the smart activities in the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio has good personnel determination and activity, as well as delegation of authority and the determination and use of tools and equipment that are good at supporting success.Keywords: Activities and Personnel, Delegates, Randai Organizing
