Abstract

Abstract: Considering Indonesia’s marine goods has big potential and world’s fish consumption per capita which is 20kgs per year, we should be able to utilize it maximally. It will become biggest contribution to Indonesia’ economy as maritime country. However, in reality Indonesia marine goods export tends to decrease 3.25% since 2014 and marine export contribution to PDB so far is no more than 30%. UKM face problem in expanding market area and competition in international marine goods processed where Thailand and Vietnam has more competitive price. This objective of this research is identifying what consideration factors of international buyer in their decision to buy Indonesia marine goods. It involves 10 buyers of Gulama bubbles, Snapper bubbles, Manyung bubbles and Kurau bubbles. Data gathered through depth interview with respondent personally and later on describes and analyses deeper. The result of analysis is researcher able to identify a number of consideration factors used by buyer in their decision to buy fish bubbles and sea cucumber which are colour, freshness, fish type, moistures, hygiene factors and sales service speed.

Abstract

Abstract: The presence of food and beverage companies currently have an active role in the world economy, where the existence of such companies did not escape from the large number of funding. The funds obtained from some shareholders. Shareholding itself consists of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and public ownership. This research is quantitative research using observa- tion because it describes the relationships between variables through testing hypothesis. Samples taken from a population with specific criteria. The population in this study i.e. finance report food and beverage companies as much as 70 financial report of the food and beverage companies that are registered in BEI. The results in this study indicates that the managerial ownership variables have no effect on profitability, but institutional ownership and public ownership has an influence on profitability.

Abstract

Abstract: The growth of the business of gas industry in Indonesia make firm that deals with this industry will develop. Increase in the number of a company that produces gas trigger intense competition to gain customers that there is to consume gas. PT Bahtera Abadi Gas is one of the company that moves in the field of gas industry national scale. On the way various customers than any other company have been handled by PT BAG that majority exists in the region of east java. An intense competition in gain customers of the company between a gas that with each other to cause to compete with companies in providing a bargain price that low and improved service quality to win over the competition. With a bargain price that is very competitive, companies should do the efficiency and effectiveness of its production in the process so as to achieve the level of its optimum profit. In order to continue to compete, required managerial instrument that can help to formulate a strategy company in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of the company that can be translated into the act of operational in clear and measurable accomplishment. In addition a strategy company in the level of implementation can be functioned as instrument of the measure- ment of performance management in addition to the goal is to investigate the effectiveness of the application of the strategy itself, also to control the performance management and minimize the potential there is the deception. The result of research shows that PT BAG having strategic objec- tives in map competition that is reflected in four perspective balanced scorecard. Strategic objec- tives financial perspective is utilization assets, cost efficiency, increase revenue. The purpose of from the perspective of a customer is customer satisfaction, customer retention, customer acquisi- tion. The purpose of internal from the perspective of a business process is of quality, delivery, healthy and safety work, develop sustainable relationship with supplier. From the perspective of the purpose of learning and growth is increase employee competency, increase productivity employee, recruit quality employee, improved teamwork, employee feedback systems, availability of infor- mation technology.

Abstract

Abstract: The large number of unemployed college graduates had become a big problem for the education world. Moreover, the imbalance that happened between the number of job vacancies and the work demands, made many university graduates work in the field which was not in accordance to the knowledge they had learned. In order to overcome these conditions, an entrepreneurial learning needed to be improved in the college. This improvement is hoped to create independent entrepreneurial students based on the acience and technology which later would be able to provide the job opportunities and develop the value of products and services. To achieve this situation, a model of entrepreneurial development which consisted of these three activities: the entrepreneurial education, the internship experience in the association companies, and the entrepreneurial prac- tices was proven in increasing the students’ success of students in starting a business based on science and technology.

Abstract

Abstract: As a health service provider under the management of the Surabaya City Government, the puskesmas (community health center) which is the unit of analysis is committed to improving and maintaining the services provided to its customers. In this study, the integration of service quality methods is used by measuring the perception gap and expectations of servqual measurement results which then design customer satisfaction performance through quality function deployment, the application of the combination of the two methods is expected to contribute to the improvement of puskesmas performance. The results of the study are expected to be able to objectively find the gap of each dimension of servqual and provide recommendations from the analysis of quality function deployment.

Abstract

Abstract: The business of health services is a business that is closely related to social responsibility because the object is human so that it cannot be equated with other businesses. Hospital as one of the health service facilities, has a role in increasing public awareness of the importance of health. A hospital is a unique and complex organization because it is a labor-intensive institution, has charac- teristics and functions and functions that are specific to the process of producing medical services and have various professional groups in the service of sufferers. This study aims to design a Perfor- mance Management System in order to analyze internal and external factors, facilitate the monitoring and evaluation process to improve the performance and competitive advantage of Rumah Sakit Bersalin X Pacitan as a whole and improve purchase division performance in particular. The re- search method used in this study is qualitative with purposive sampling for sampling techniques. The results of this study, that management of Rumah Sakit Bersalin X execute High Contacts Busi- ness Strategy by means of recruiting workers who have the competence, knowledge, skills and abilities as a core employee business company that cannot be excluded, because this workforce is an executor in the company and is very much needed to be maintained. It can be seen from learning and growth perspective, the companies prefer ‘people expertise’, by choosing workers who have expertise that is tailored to each division within the company. People expertise is prepared as the executor of the company’s strategies and plans that are seen in the internal process. The dominance of these people expertise that drives ‘operational excellence’ which is expected to increase cus- tomer equity and thus will affect the company’s overall income and profitability.

Abstract

Proactive personality is an important factor in a boundaryless career. The reason is, in the boundaryless career period, the work environment becomes uncertain and the challenges in a career are increasingly complex. Therefore, there is a need for an adaptive attitude in running a career. Proactive personality is seen as a form of career adaptability. This study analyzes the rela- tionship between proactive personality, career adaptability and career success (subjective and ob- jective). Samples from this study are 41 people from employees of PT KAI DAOP 8 Surabaya which is included in the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). The respondents’ data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) using the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of this study indicate that when proactive personalities increase, career adaptability and subjective career success will in- crease too. While the other results of this study are when proactive personality increases, it does not significantly influence objective career success. Similarly, increasing career adaptability does not significantly influence objective career success.

Abstract

This study examines the expropriation that occurs in asset utilization due to tunneling. This study aims to examine the effect of asset utilization on company performance. This study used a sample of 130 companies in Indonesia to examine the effect of asset utilization on company performance. This research uses simultaneous equation model with Three-Stage Least Square tech- nique. The results showed that asset utilization has a positive and significant effect on company performance. The result of the research shows that asset utilization which is managed and well controlled has influence to improve company performance.

Abstract

Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, Jombang district, which is integrated with the tombs of the founders of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and national heroes, is increasingly visited by pilgrims since KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) died and was buried there. The arrival of the pilgrims was in addition to a form of homage to the scholars of the founders of Nadhlatul Ulama (NU), also to pray. This motivation is typical in pilgrimage tours. Gus Dur’s grave deserves to be designated as an icon of Jombang district tourism. As a pilgrimage tourist destination, the iconic tomb complex with Gus Dur’s Tomb has several advantages to be designated as Jombang tourism icons which are then expected to provide added value for Jombang district. This article is conceptual paper, giving a review of Gus Dur’s grave designation as an icon of Jombang tourism. The research approach is qualitatively descriptive, where primary data sources are obtained from data collection through interviews and supported by the observation process. Secondary data sources are carried out through the study of related literature. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the chances of Gus Dur’s grave becoming an icon of Jombang tourism? The conclusion of this study is that the tomb of Gus Dur is appropriate to be used as an icon of Jombang tourism, with consideration, first, the tomb of Gus Dur have an advantage as a heritage area that has high historical value, and is strategically significant for the progress of Jombang tourism in particular. Second, the geographical location of Gus Dur’s tomb which became one area with Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, also higher education, and the National Islamic Museum K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari in one area will focus the relevant government agencies to carry out development programs as a follow-up to iconic tourism designation. Third, the Tomb of Gus Dur is important area in the establishment of NU, which is expected to have a positive impact on the surrounding area when arranged in such a way. Fourth, in terms of tourism components, Gus Dur’s Grave has complete appeal, good accessibility, existing facilities but needs to be developed.

Abstract

This research was conducted to answer investors’ doubts in investing their capital in the stock market, the large number of stock sectors offered in the stock market made investors have to analyze properly before deciding which sector of the stock promises the greatest profit and has the best growth. In this study the author tries to compare between the stock returns of the banking and financial sector in Indonesia securities. And the results of the research can be concluded that the stock returns of banking companies are based on capital gains higher than mining companies.
