Abstract

This research investigate impact of institutional ownership on firm performance, and moderating effect of active institutional ownership. Using purposive sampling and the period of 2012-2016, we obtained 436 observations of 99 manufacturing firms for dependent variable mea- sured by ROA, and 415 observations of 95 manufacturing firms for dependent variable measured by Tobin’s Q. We found that institutional ownership had significant positive effect on firm perfor- mance. Active institutional ownership as a moderating variable, strengthens the positive effect of institutional ownership on firm performance.

Abstract

Career success is a way for individuals to fulfill their needs for achievement and effort during work, even career success is someone’s goal in working. The sample in this study were 65 production department employees with quantitative analysis approaches. In this study using PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis with SmartPLS 3.0 software. Research on career success benefits both individuals and organizations. At the individual level, career success can be observed from the objective (extrinsic) and subjective (intrinsic). Knowledge of career success helps individuals de- velop the right strategies to commit to careers in their working days. At the organizational level, knowledge of the relationship between proactive personality and organizational support for career development towards career success can help companies to design effective career systems. Compa- nies that want to get competent human resources must understand the factors that affect their employees’ career success, one of these factors is self-efficacy. The self-efficacy variable in this study is positioned as a moderator that influences the relationship between career success and career commitment. The purpose of this paper is to develop conceptual models and propose hy- potheses that connect proactive personality and organizational support for career development in career success through career commitment that is moderated by self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the relationship between the variability of mu- tuality micro fundamental, macro fundamentals of ownership structure, financial performance, and the value of companies in State-Owned Enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Re- search population at 20 State-Owned Enterprises listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research method uses purposive sampling with 12 companies in 2010–2015. Data analysis of techniques in this study using Partial Least Square consists of Inner model, Outers model and Weight relation. The test results showed that all hypothesis testing was accepted which showed significant effect with 5% level with t-table 1,960 and rejected macro fundamentals to firm value with t-statistic 0,666262 (H5) and micro fundamentals of company value with t-statistic 1,188469 (H6) and ownership structure on the financial performance of the company with t-statistics 0.953625 (H7).

Abstract

As a critical point in the supply chain, warehouse facility must be managed in good way, started from planning and design becomes important, this research using modeling tool to make and ensure the warehouse to be more effective and efficient. This paper to analyze the concepts of modeling for managing warehouse facility, from strategic level to operational level, for future re- search to provide a conceptual references also contribute to project management. The Problem in this analysis formulated as: 1). how modeling in designing and planning warehouse in action, and 2) how modeling in designing and planning warehouse as classified. The findings of this research with a modeling project: a model of classification for managing efficient warehouse, especially in strate- gic planning model.

Abstract

This research purpose to examine what factor that determine method of payment acquisition in Indonesia. The period of sample during 2000-2017 and using multinomial logistic regression. There are 85 samples of transanctions (57 using cash payment, 18 using mix payment, and 10 using stock payment). Independent variables are market to book ratio, market capitalization, tobin?s Q, cash flow, and standard deviations of return. Acquirer Correlation as a control variable. This study find that market to book ratio has positive effect on stock and mix payment method than cash payment method at 10%. Tobin?s Q has positive effect on mix payment method than cash payment method at 10%.

Abstract

Peranan usaha dibidang peti kemas (bongkar muat) memberikan dampak positif bagi indutri lain terkait dengan kegiatan yang bisa mengatur, menata dan mengembangkan kegiatan logistik dan pendistribusian barang. Fungsi pelabuhan yaitu sebagai solusi terbaik untuk mengurangi kepadatan dan mempercepat proses distribusi barang.             Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi penerapan strategi bersaing differensiasi PT Terminal Teluk Lamong di Lingkungan Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak yang diterapkan selama ini dan memberikan rekomendasi atas penerapan strategi bersaingdifferensiasiPT Terminal Teluk Lamong dalam rangka meningkatkan pelayanan jasa peti kemas di Lingkungan Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sampel dari penelitian ini yaitu key informan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling serta melakukan wawancara.             Hasil penelitian ini yaitu penerapan strategi PT Terminal Teluk Lamong dapat menunjang peningkatan kinerja bongkar muat petikemasdengan pemanfaatan high technology system, konsep Go Green Portserta didukung sumber daya manusia yang disiapkan untuk menunjang setiap perubahan yang dilakukan perusahaan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan yaitu konsisten mempertahankan konsep strategi Go GreenPort, terus berinovasi dengan fokus memberikan pelayanan prima kepada pelanggan.

Abstract

Financial Technology (Fintech) telah memberikan akses kepada banyak pihak yang tidak memiliki rekening bank untuk masuk ke sektor usaha formal. Penerapan Fintech terbukti mampu membuka akses yang lebih besar terhadap layanan jasa keuangan formal, mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, serta pembangunan inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mendukung penerapan Fintech di Indonesia, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh regulasi dan kolaborasi terhadap literasi keuangan pada usaha kecil dan menengah di Jawa Timur - Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu regulasi dan kolaborasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap literasi keuangan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dapat membantu banyak pihak yaitu pemerintah, pengusaha, dan konsumen dalam memberikan pemahaman secara lengkap dan menyeluruh berkaitan dengan literasi keuangan pada usaha kecil dan menengah berkaitan penerapan financial technology.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test work stress, work motivation, work environment on employee performance. The research sample was 50 respondents and used a total sampling method. This study uses a quantitative approach, data for this study were obtained through a research questionnaire that was filled out by predetermined respondents. Variables are measured with a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing using SPSS V20 tools with multiple linear regression analysis methods.The findings about the effect of work stress, work motivation, work environment on the performance of employees of UD. Patama Karya city of Kedirir. First, work stress and work motivation have no significant impact on employee performance. Second, the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. Third, the work stress silmultually variable work motivation and work environment significantly influence employee performance. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for developing new strategies in an effort to improve work stress, work motivation, work environment on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to bridge the gap in the literature by examining the dimensions of Growth Orientation, Opportunity Orientation, Total customer focus dimensions, Value creation Networking, Informal Market Analysis, Closness to The Market on large and small company scale related to Entrepreneurial Marketing (EM) behavior. Thus the objectives to be developed in this study are: analyze how EM behavior in small companies compared to large companies? The dimensions of whether in entrepreneurial marketing are dominant in the context of small and large scale companies. The questionnaire was aimed at a national sample of 406 business owners in Indonesia, spread in 8 provinces. Small companies are defined as companies that employ at least 9 fewer full-time employees other than their owners, while large companies are companies that employ more than 9 full-time employees other than their owners. Snowball sampling is used to determine the selected respondent. The results showed that there are differences in entrepreneurial marketing behavior between large companies and small companies, where small scale companies have lower entrepreneurial marketing behavior compared to large scale companies. For small scale companies, it shows that opportunity orientation is the most dominant dimension, whereas in large scale companies it shows that growth orientation is the most dominant dimension.

Abstract

The government launched a 35,000 MW program based on the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia especially for outside Java region as part of development of country infrastructure. To be able to continue to grow and compete, PT PJB as a company engaged in the field of electric power producers must have good investment plan, one of the investments that can be made is through participation in electric power plant development projects. The purpose of this study is to find out the influential criteria in making decisions and provide recommendations to PT PJB in the formulation of alternative priority scales for power plant development projects selection strategy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Samples from this study were key informants using purposive sampling and filling out questionnaires. The results of this study are the formation of 3 criteria which are the best priorities, namely generating new revenue with a weight of 0.177, market share with a weight of 0.134 and increasing opportunities in the future with a weight of 0.127. While the determination of the main alternative for the construction of the Power Plant Project is the Java 7 PLTU of 16.3%, the Java 8 PLTU of 12.9% and the Java 3 PLTGU of 10%.
