Abstract

Telkom Indonesia is a state-owned enterprise operating in the fields of information technology, communication, and telecommunication networks. Currently, Telkom faces challenges in managing financial data for its billing unit, which still relies on manual spreadsheets. This process takes approximately 65 to 80 minutes for 10 data entries and is prone to errors. Previous research using the waterfall methodology was found to lack flexibility in accommodating changing requirements. Therefore, this study developed a web-based application using Laravel and Filament, following the Agile methodology. The purpose of this development is to automate data management, enhance role-based security, and simplify report generation. Testing results show that the application improved data processing efficiency by 76%, achieved a 97% success rate in website performance testing, and produced more structured financial reports. Thus, the implementation of Laravel Filament has proven to be effective in enhancing operational efficiency and reducing data errors at PT Telkom Indonesia.

Abstract

Health and fitness play a crucial role in improving the quality of life. This study aims to develop a web-based health calculator system capable of automatically, in real time, calculating health indicators such as ideal body weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), basic and daily calorie needs, and body fat levels. This system was built using the Waterfall method with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript technologies. To assess accuracy, testing was conducted on five user datasets by comparing the system's calculations with manual calculations using standard formulas. The difference between the two was calculated as the average relative deviation for each indicator: 0.13% (BMI), 0.84% (ideal body weight), 0.27% (basic calories), 0.27% (daily calories), and 0.73% (body fat levels). Since all deviations were <1%, the system's overall accuracy was estimated to exceed 99%. The test results can be further visualized graphically to clarify the comparison of values. The system also demonstrated ease of use and responsive performance. In conclusion, this system can be used as an accurate and practical educational tool to support self-monitoring of health.

Abstract

The Tarno Car Workshop is a four-wheeled vehicle repair service business located in Karangkemiri Village and has been operating for more than three years. However, in its operational activities, this workshop still relies on manual recording to manage customer data, service, scheduling, and repair history. Manual practice causes several problems, including inefficiencies in data management, delays in service, and potential recording errors. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to develop an Android-based Bengkelin application that aims to simplify the workshop service process. The design of this application uses the Design Thinking approach, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, that focus on understanding users' problems and needs and on creating effective solutions. The result is a simple application design with the main features of service scheduling, maintenance history recording, payment methods, and account management. The interface design is expected to support the smooth running of the service process and increase the operational efficiency of the Tarno Car Workshop.

Abstract

Early detection of skin diseases remains a major challenge, particularly in regions with limited access to dermatological services. This issue is further exacerbated by the shortage of medical specialists and the widespread presence of inaccurate health information online. This study aims to develop an automated image-based classification system capable of identifying five types of skin diseases: Eczema, Melanocytic Nevus, Melanoma, Benign Keratosis, and Basal Cell Carcinoma. The proposed method utilizes a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the VGG19 architecture, enhanced through transfer learning and partial fine-tuning at the block4_conv1 layer. A dataset of 10,000 JPG images was used, with preprocessing steps including normalization, data augmentation, edge detection, and class balancing. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix. Experimental results show that the model achieved an accuracy of up to 84% in the best scenario, with balanced performance across other metrics, indicating strong multiclass classification capabilities. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of VGG19 in detecting skin diseases from images. The results also suggest the potential development of mobile-based early detection systems to support communities in underserved areas.

Abstract

The management of office supplies at the Regional Disaster Management Agency in Karawang Regency is currently still carried out through direct verbal confirmation between employees and recorded using Excel, resulting in problems such as unsynchronized data, difficulty searching for old records, and a lack of integration into a single system, which is considered ineffective, inefficient, and in need of digitization of the office supply administration process. This study aims to design an ATK information system using Design Thinking, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. This method is used to explore users' real needs, formulate problems accurately, generate ideas and solutions, and design and test interface designs. The tools used in the design were Google Forms for data collection from 48 respondents and Figma for creating the User Interface and User Experience designs and system prototypes. The results of this study show that the design thinking method is effective for designing an office stationery information system with a User Interface and User Experience prototype that can be understood and suits the needs of employees, thereby addressing the main problems in the ATK management process and providing a design basis that is ready for use in the next stage of system development.

Abstract

PT. X is a health technology company that provides a cloud-based Management Information System for healthcare facilities. So far, the selection of the best employees has been based solely on supervisors' observations, without a systematic, objective evaluation system. This has led to decreased employee performance and motivation due to the lack of a structured, objective decision-making system. This study aims to develop a performance evaluation system based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, integrated with the 360 Degree Feedback approach, to provide an objective, structured assessment. The evaluation is conducted based on clear, measurable criteria such as professionalism, performance, attitude, initiative, and teamwork, involving assessments from supervisors, colleagues, subordinates, and self-evaluation, thereby ensuring a more comprehensive assessment and reducing the bias commonly found in single-source evaluations. The results of the study show that the best employees based on this system are Samuel Steven (1.00), Muhammad Sulthan Rafli Maajid (0.947675), and Muhammad Insan Kamil (0.920534). This system is expected to improve evaluation quality and employee motivation by enabling more comprehensive, objective assessments.

Abstract

The employee selection process at PT PSMI has been considered less optimal due to limitations in objectively assessing candidates and indications of subjectivity from the Human Resource Development (HRD) department. This condition may prevent the company from obtaining candidates who truly meet organizational requirements. This study aims to address these issues by applying the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method within a decision support system (DSS) for employee selection. The SMART method assists decision-making based on five main criteria: education, work experience, age, test scores, and interview results. Research data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with the HRD department to determine the weight of each criterion according to its level of importance. Candidate scores were then analyzed using the SMART calculation stages to obtain the final scores and determine the best ranking. The evaluation results show that candidate A07 achieved the highest score of 90.63 and was recommended as the best prospective employee. Validation was carried out by comparing the system results with HRD decisions, showing a high level of consistency. These findings demonstrate that the SMART method effectively enhances objectivity, reduces subjectivity, and accelerates the employee selection process at PT PSMI. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other companies in developing decision support systems based on the SMART method to achieve a more objective recruitment process.

Abstract

The demand for peeled garlic at the Gilingan Bakso Barokah business tends to fluctuate and be difficult to predict. Inaccurate daily stock determination often leads to problems, especially when peeled garlic stock is excessive while demand is low. Peeled garlic will yellow, rot, and degrade in quality, while customers expect it to be fresh. To overcome this problem, this study aims to predict daily peeled garlic requirements using a simple linear regression model. The data used are daily sales records for peeled garlic from January to December 2024 at Gilingan Bakso Barokah. The linear regression model was built using time as the predictor variable to estimate daily sales trends. The results show that the model is capable of providing reasonably accurate estimates, with a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 8.93 and a validation score of 9.03. The prediction model projects the peeled garlic requirement over the next 30 days at around 16 kg per day. These findings can help business owners manage peeled garlic stock more efficiently, minimize waste, and maintain customer satisfaction. This research provides an initial, stable, and reliable predictive model for the Gilingan Bakso Barokah business, while simultaneously demonstrating the effectiveness of simple linear regression for the daily management of fresh raw material stocks, with an accuracy level of MSE ≈ 9.

Abstract

Collaboration management in higher education is a strategic activity that supports the improvement of education, research, and community service. However, the existing system at STMIK AKI still faces several challenges, particularly in manual documentation, delays in monitoring contract validity, and limited transparency in reporting. This study aims to design a web-based collaboration information system using the Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) approach. The system blueprint was evaluated through expert judgment combined with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving stakeholders from collaboration units, IT expert and institutional leaders. The results of this study produced a blueprint for a collaboration information system comprising modules for partner and document management, contract monitoring with automated notifications, and an executive dashboard for evaluating collaboration achievements. Validation through FGD confirmed that this system design is feasible to implement, with improvements to security aspects. The system is expected to increase document management efficiency, reduce delays in contract extensions, and support decision-making by providing more accurate, real-time data. This research contributes a practical system design that can serve as a reference for implementation and as a foundation for the development of integrated collaboration systems in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Student satisfaction is an important indicator for evaluating the quality of educational services in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, an analytical method capable of accurately identifying the factors that influence student satisfaction is needed. This study aims to analyze the satisfaction levels of male and female students at Pesantren Darul Ulum Mambaul Huda using the C4.5 algorithm. The C4.5 algorithm is used to build a classification model by calculating entropy and information gain to identify the most influential attributes affecting satisfaction levels. The data used in this research were collected through questionnaires that included several assessment variables, including teaching quality, facilities, services, and discipline. The analysis process consisted of several stages, including data cleaning, calculating entropy and information gain, constructing the decision tree, and evaluating the model’s performance using a confusion matrix. The results show that the C4.5 algorithm achieves high classification accuracy and identifies that teaching quality and boarding school facilities are the most influential factors. Thus, the C4.5 algorithm can serve as an effective tool for boarding school management to improve the quality of educational services and the learning environment for students.
