Occupational health and safety need to be carried out properly in a job as an effort to reduce the occurrence of work fatigue. Work fatigue is a condition in which a person experiences both physical and mental deterioration. When someone experiences work fatigue, his work productivity, efficiency and effectiveness can also decrease. Excessive working time from existing rules can result in work fatigue. PT. United Steel Center has a division with a very long working time duration of 33,420 minutes or 557 hours in February 2022. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to find out whether there is subjective fatigue in machine operators in the division. This study uses the method of Subjective Self Rating Test (SSRT). Based on the results of distributing the SSRT questionnaire and analysis, it is known that from eight operators, there are seven operators who experience low work fatigue, while one operator experiences high work fatigue.

Monitoring is a very important activitiy carried out in chili cultivation. A monitoring system on chili plants designed in the form of the Internet of Things (IoT) is an electronic device that can interact directly with users who use it for monitoring and controlling devices with the help of the internet. The creation of the chili plant monitoring based on the Internet of Things (IoT) can facilitate monitoring activities on chili plants to monitor temperature, humidity and light intensity in real time without having to come to the location of chili planters. This study uses quantitative descriptive research by describing the design of a prototype monitoring system for temperature, humidity and light intensity on chili plants based on IoT and describing the results of measuring temperature, humidity and light intensity on the prototype that has been made by researchers. The results of this prototype design have the main components, namely NodeMCU ESP8266, DHT 22 Sensor and BH1750 Sensor. The results obtained for measuring temperature, humidity and light intensity in this prototype show that the R square value on the DHT sensor for temperature and humidity is 0.949 and 0.870 while for the BH1750 sensor value for light intensity is 0.998. The R square value of the sensor is in the interval 0.80-1.00. The results of the calibration measurement carried out on this prototype are considered very valid. Field test results show the sensors and outputs obtained can function very well.

Landslide is a natural hazard that is quite widespread throughout the world and has caused casualties and ruined people's economic livelihoods. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods combined with a spatial approach to analyze primary and secondary data from satellite imagery, observation, and related agencies. Data processing is conducted using Global Mapper 20, Arcgis 10.8.1 and Ermapper 8.1 softwares. The results obtained from this study show that the vulnerability to landslides is relatively high, with a large area around 51.63%. This area is spread over hilly areas. For built land, its level of vulnerability to landslide in both the high and very high categories, namely in zones Z-4 and Z-5, is caused by slopes of 25 to > 40%, with rock types with a high degree of weathering and with built-up land cover. The use of remote sensing and geographic information system in assessing landslide in the research area can be used as a guide for the proper use of land to avoid disasters that may occur.

Every company certainly has a raw material procurement system to determine the production requirements later needed when collaborating with more than one supplier. PT XYZ is engaged in manufacturing by producing bodywork for various types of vehicles. The raw materials in the production process are almost 80% iron plate. Further, the company has a problem, namely there are frequent delays in the delivery of raw materials due to mistakes in decision making when selecting a supplier and no further research carried out to determine the order of the right criteria. In this study, researchers use the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The purpose of this study is to minimize the occurrence of errors in the selection of supplier and to find out which supplier is appropriate in meeting the company’s raw material needs with predetermined criteria. The results obtained are the order of the best suppliers in meeting the raw material needs of PT XYZ at CV. SB of 42.72%, CV. Kin by 34.14%, and CV. BM is 23.14% while the order of supplier selection criteria is quality, price, delivery and payment.

Sensor is equipment needed to support the application of digital technology in various fields. The characteristics of a sensor that only produces analog quantities are a challenge itself in implementing digital technology using sensors. The combination of sensors and Arduino microcontrollers can be used to control various equipment systems. One of the applications of temperature sensors and Arduino microcontrollers is to control the flow of heat in a clothes dryer. The hot air generated by the equipment will burn the air in a tube. The resulting heat is flowed into the clothes dryer using a fan. To make the temperature in the clothes drying chamber stay at a certain point, a device is needed to regulate the flow of heat exhaled from the heating chamber. The regulation of the temperature is performed by adjusting the on and off buttons of two fans that blow hot air into the clothes drying chamber. By adjusting these two devices using a temperature sensor and Arduino microcontroller, the temperature in heating chamber can be maintained in a certain temperature point. The test results show that all the equipment used in the experiment work well.

The Medan Education Office is one of the government agencies that has the task of managing education starting from elementary to secondary schools in Medan. At present, the management of school information data in Medan has not been integrated into a geographic information system. Therefore, it is difficult for the public to access school data because the available information is not structured and well integrated. The purpose of this study is to assist the Medan Education Office in integrating school data in a geographic information system and to make it a place for the public to find school information, distances and routes to the nearest school. The research uses the R & D (Research and Development) method which is a method for producing certain products and testing the effectiveness of the method. The research data are collected through observation, interview, and library research. The results of this study conclude that the haversine algorithm applied to the built geographic information system has shown the results of the distances and routes that can be taken by the users to get to the destination. The School Geographic Information System in Medan provides convenience to the Medan Education Office in inputting school data, helping the public access information easily.

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in bodywork sector. Every company surely expects high profit. One of the ways to achieve the goal is by minimizing the expenses. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Just In Time (JIT) methods are commonly used methods to save inventory costs. This study aims to compare which method is more effective and efficient in reducing inventory costs at the company. The results of the study show that the JIT method can reduce inventory costs by 91.14% for plate with 2mm 4x8 standard and 93.62% for plate with 3mm 4x8 standard, while the EOQ method can reduce inventory costs by 33.45% for both types of the raw materials. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that JIT method is more effective than EOQ method in reducing inventory costs in the company.

This research discusses how to design an expert system that can be used to diagnose disorders of the endocrine system based on the symptoms suffered by the patient, so that there are advice on the problems encountered by the user. The objective is to assist prospective doctors, general practitioners and specialists in diagnosing disorders of the endocrine system like an expert, to provide information quickly, and to create an interactive application that can be easily understood by the users. The expert system is created using the Best-First Search method and using the Forward Chaining technique. The system contains the knowledge of an expert obtained during research at Permata Ibu Hospital and a knowledge base designed to be able to store new diseases. The expert system is developed based on smartphone technology or more specifically Android on the client side, PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySQL base on the server side. The system contains 6 disease data and 10 disease symptom data. It also has been tested and validated by experts and several users. The result reaching a percentage of 83.3% shows that the expert system application is quite efficient and effective.

The development of globalization in this era makes the element of human resources crucial for companies. Thus, it is necessary for companies to provide motivation and enthusiasm to employees, one of which is through rewards. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing by making vehicle paint. The problem at PT XYZ is the low employee performance due to the lack of rewards for high-performing employees. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of extrinsic and intrinsic rewards on employee performance using multiple linear regression analysis and the priority of reward criteria using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results show that intrinsic and extrinsic rewards simultaneously affect the performance of PT. XYZ employees. The extrinsic reward variable does not significantly affect the performance of PT. XYZ employees. The intrinsic reward variable significantly affects the performance at PT. XYZ employees. Next, the results of the determination of reward priority score indicate that self-development criteria is the most expected reward criteria by employees, with a priority score of 0.39 or 39%.

The rapid development of the industrial sector encourages the emergence of environmental issues, especially the global warming. The phenomenon occurs because of many factors. The most common factor is the manufacturing industry which mostly utilizes natural resources and non-renewable energy. In an observation made on Meuble Company XXX, there are flaws in waste management during its production process. Scattered wooden wastes are visible in the production area and there are no major attempts to reduce the production process’ impact on surrounding air pollution. Based on the observation, this research attempts to determine Meuble Company XXX’s operational capability based on indicators of Green Manufacturing in accordance with The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD). The research result indicates two indicators, namely waste intensity and air pollution intensity need further evaluation that the company can apply the green manufacturing concept better. The result also shows there are 6 indicators with null score, meaning the company does not use natural resources or non-renewable energy during those processes and there is no negative impact on the environmentt. Based on results, it can be concluded that the operational performance of Company Meuble XXX on Green Manufacturing is in Advance category.
