Abstract

Most people have switched to using bottled drinking water that is consumed compared to PDAM water that is cooked by themselves. Therefore, the determination of the shortest route for the distribution of bottled drinking water delivery (AMDK) to the last distribution route is carried out. Determination of the shortest route taken in carrying out distribution is carried out because there are often vacancies at agents caused by delays in delivery by the depot so that in this case the distribution of bottled drinking water becomes very crucial in fulfilling public demand for bottled drinking water needs. Delays in distribution from the depot can be caused by a lack of efficiency in the delivery path so that several obstacles are encountered during the process. Therefore, the shortest route optimisation will be carried out for the efficiency of distribution time which aims to increase customer satisfaction related to product availability in accordance with the demand submitted by the community which is expected to have a smooth distribution path that will impact on the timeliness of product arrival using the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) method. Where this method is used in a distribution system to create an optimal route. Abstract

Cash recording plays an important role in the sustainability of MSME businesses. The problems faced by MSMEs are the lack of good cash recording and the lack of ability to learn difficult accounting science. This study provides a solution in the form of creating a mobile application-based cash recording. The method used is the design thinking approach. The form of evaluation used is using the Technology Acceptance Model technique. The results obtained are that the design thinking approach is able to solve MSME problems in recording cash from the user's side, and the results of the application usage survey state that the acceptance of the implemented technology shows a good value with an average of 9.4 agreeing that the application is acceptable

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the healthcare sector has driven the digitalization of services, including the management of reservations and schedules in dental practices. The Praktek Gigi Mandiri Website was developed to assist the dental clinic of drg. Susilawati in efficiently managing patient appointments through the Booking and Scheduling features. This study aims to test the functionality of these features using the Black Box Testing method with the Equivalence Partitioning technique, focusing on functional Testing without considering the internal structure of the system. Testing was conducted on several main scenarios, including viewing schedules, adding schedules, editing schedules, deleting schedules, and making reservations. The test results indicate that the Booking feature achieved a success rate of 50%, while the Scheduling feature reached 57.14%. Overall, the combined success rate of both features is 53.85%, showing that most functions operated as expected. However, some scenarios failed due to insufficient input validation and inadequate error handling. The limitation of this Testing lies in its focus on functionality without involving performance and security Testing. Therefore, further Testing is needed to ensure system stability and security before full implementation. Overall, the Praktek Gigi Mandiri Website has successfully performed its main functions, but further improvements are necessary to enhance system reliability and user experience.

Abstract

The increasing consumer demand for mukena products has an impact on the production process which is required to be fast until the product reaches the consumer. However, the long distance between the production process which is still separated by the location between the warehouse and the production floor causes the ineffectiveness of the production process. To overcome this, Konveksi Roemah Dia must increase production by designing a new production site that has a layout with a minimum distance between production rooms. The purpose of this study is to design a production layout using the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) method to design the relationship between activities. The results of data processing obtained a floor area between raw materials, cutting tables, sewing machines, embroidery machines, quality control, to finished product warehouses of 43.36 m2. Furthermore, a table of the level of activity proximity relationships was created using the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) which was summarized into the Worksheet for Activity Relationship Diagram (WARD), then a new layout experiment was made using the Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD), finally a proposed layout was made using the Area Allocation Diagram (AAD) with a U-shaped pattern and a distance of movement between facilities of 13.5 m. The new production floor is carried out in the same place so that there is no waste of distance and time for the material movement process.

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm for sentiment classification. IMDb, as one of the largest online movie review platforms, offers a vast dataset of user reviews, which can be leveraged to analyze public opinion on movies. The goal of this study is to classify movie reviews as positive or negative using SVM, a machine learning algorithm known for its effectiveness in binary classification tasks. The dataset, consisting of thousands of IMDb reviews, undergoes pre-processing steps such as tokenization, removal of stop words, and text vectorization using Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF). The SVM algorithm is then applied to this processed data to train the model, which is evaluated based on its accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. Experimental results indicate that the SVM model performs with high accuracy, proving its reliability in sentiment analysis tasks for large-scale movie review datasets. This paper also discusses the advantages of using SVM over other machine learning algorithms and highlights areas for future improvement, including incorporating more nuanced sentiment categories and optimizing the model's hyperparameters.

Abstract

In the automotive industry, increasing competition requires companies to continuously optimize production processes to enhance quality and efficiency. PT. XYZ faces issues in the repair process of units with defective parts, causing production delays and unmet daily targets. This research aims to identify and eliminate waste occurring in the production process, particularly waste delays, by applying the Lean Manufacturing concept. The methods used are Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Fishbone Diagrams to analyze process flow and identify the root causes of waste. Primary data were obtained through direct observation and interviews with relevant parties at PT. XYZ, while secondary data consisted of historical production records.The research results indicate that the most significant waste delays occur in the repair unit for vehicles with defective parts, caused by insufficient manpower, material delays, and suboptimal machine performance. Through improvement suggestions based on the 5W+1H analysis, PT. XYZ is expected to reduce time waste, improve production efficiency, and meet the set daily production targets. The application of Lean Manufacturing has proven effective in helping the company identify and address waste issues in the production process.

Abstract

PT Kurnia Mustika Indah Lestari (KMIL) is a company engaged in stamping and dies maker that produces several parts for motorbikes and cars. One of the parts produced by the company is the part cap front. Where in the production process, the part cap front often produces defective parts every day. So this study aims to analyze the factors causing defects in the part cap front and to provide suggestions for quality improvements. This study uses the seven tools method used to analyze data. The data used in this study comes from the part cap front production data for the period January 2024. The findings of this study indicate that there are two types of defects in the part cap front, namely oblique welding and scratch. From the results of the pareto diagram, it is known that oblique welding defects are the most dominant defects with 66%. The control chart p used to analyze the control limits produced UCL 0,015 and LCL 0,011. Factors to determine the cause of defects in the fishbone diagram are human factors, machines, methods, materials, and the environment. The proposed improvements in this study are to provide training to operators to improve their skills, routinely carry out machine maintenance schedules, and always pay attention to the SOPs set by the company.

Abstract

Operations division employees in the telecommunications industry often face high mental workloads due to complex tasks, tight deadlines, and demands for accuracy and speed in their work. Excessive mental workload risks causing stress and reducing productivity. This research aims to evaluate the level of mental workload of PT Z operations division employees using the NASA-TLX method. NASA-TLX measures workload based on six main aspects: Mental Demand, Physical Demand, Temporal Demand, Performance, Effort, and Frustration Level. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, then analyzed to obtain the average Workload Weighting Level (WWL). The results of the analysis show that the average WWL value is 74.61, which is categorized as high. The main factors contributing to high mental workload include task uncertainty, tight deadlines, long hours working in front of the computer, and intensive multitasking. As corrective steps, this research recommends adjusting workload, providing sufficient rest time, and improving the ergonomics of the work environment. It is hoped that these findings can help companies manage employee workload to improve their welfare and productivity.

Abstract

Based on the results of the observation, it was found that there is no definite benchmark for employee performance evaluation, especially in the production department at PT Meidoh Indonesia. Therefore, this research aims to identify and design performance assessments in the production department of PT Meidoh Indonesia. The method used is the Balance Scorecard method based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Essentially, the use of the balance scorecard method has 4 perspectives that will be structured into Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The result in this research, only 3 perspectives are used according to the company's conditions at that time. These 3 perspectives consist of the financial perspective with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of reducing purchases and production costs, the customer perspective with the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of reducing the delay process, and the internal process perspective of improving workforce productivity, reducing scrap, and eliminating abnormal occurrences.
