JURNAL ILMIAH PESONA PAUD began publishing in March 2012 with p-ISSN no 2337-8301 with a frequency of 6 times a year. This journal was re-managed and published twice a year in the printed and electronic versions in 2018. each of which had p ISSN no 2337-8301 and e ISSN no 2656-1271 by the Department of Teacher Education in Padang State Early Childhood Education. As a national journal that has implemented an open access peer-reviewed journal system. Manuscripts that enter through the review process, the results of the review will be informed to the authors of the paper through the Open Journal System (OJS). This journal is dedicated to original articles published in Indonesian and English as a scientific forum for Early Childhood Education studies for lecturers, researchers, reviewers, practitioners, and S1 / S2 / S3 students.

Abstract

At present, education in the family is a surefire strategy to continue to provide education rights to early childhood. The role of parents is now tested by the covid-19 pandemic that is sweeping the country. Many things must also be considered in providing education in the family, namely health factors, children’s eating and drinking needs, and also related to psychological, early childhood comfort when studying or playing at home. Through a descriptive study approach with ten parents with a master’s education background and academics as respondents through digital questionnaires and interviews with the Google form application. The results of the questionnaire and interviews were analyzed by means of descriptive analysis. It was found that: (1) Only three out of ten parents can adjust to the role of educators for their own children and able to create comfort when providing learning to children at home; (2) Three out of ten parents are able to establish good communication with teachers during educational activities from home; (3) ten parents expressed their concern with the existing conditions and agreed that the role of teachers was not easy o live. Keywords  : education in the family; parenting

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the character development of early childhood independence. Independence is one of the character values that needs to be developed by early childhood. The research method used is literature study. Data collection techniques by examining primary sources in the form of reference books and journals that are relevant to the research problem. After getting the required data then the next is analyzing the data. The analysis is done by connecting the problem with relevant concepts and theories. The research findings show that the development of the character of independence in children can be done using the Montessori method that prioritizes freedom in children. The results of the study are based on the findings of the Pratical life learning in the Montessori method to develop the character of independence in early childhood

Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology, traditional games that can develop children’s skills still exist. One of them is dakon. This research is a classroom research aimed to develop arithmetic skills at Raudhatul Athfal Al Kamal 1 Palaran Samarinda. The research subjects were 12 students with 6 males and 6 females. The traditional game dakon focuses on introducing number 1-20, mentioning the number order 1-20, and sorting numbers of dakon. This research was carried out through two cycles with three meetings each cycle. The result of research shows that before the treatment the students’ skill is 0%. After the treatment, the skill on the cycle 1 is 31% with developing criteria. On the cycle 2, the skill is 77% with well-developed criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the traditional game dakon can develop the students’ arithmetic skills of Raudhatul Athfal Al Kamal 1 Palaran, Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aims to improve fine motor skills in children aged 4-5 years through cutting geometric shapes in Raudhatul Ulum Kindergarten Jember. This research is a collaborative classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. Research subjects in children aged 4-5 years at Kindergarten Raudhatul Ulum Jember with 22 children. Data collection methods in this study used questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques using data reduction and data presentation. The average yield in the underdeveloped category is known to be a percentage of 55%, in terms of opening and cutting straight lines 45%. Cut the shape but not on the 50% line. Cut 70% of various geometric shapes. Next shows an increase after the first and second cycles are carried out in the Start Developing category with initial conditions with an average percentage of 55%, in the first cycle an average percentage of 65% and a second cycle an average percentage of 60% and no more percentage of 0%. Developing categories in line with expectations in the initial conditions an average percentage of 45%, in the first cycle an average percentage of 65% and a second cycle an average percentage of 70%. The observations cut geometric shapes from the Very Good Developing category in the initial conditions with an average percentage of 46%, in the first cycle the average percentage is 68% and the second cycle is an average percentage of 86%. Thus efforts to improve fine motor skills through cutting geometric shapes in children aged 4-5 years at Kindergarten Raudhatul Ulum Jember have increased and succeeded. Keywords: Strategy to Cut Geometry Shapes, Fine Motor Ability

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning ablution using a qualitative approach, descriptive method. Reseacrh informants are teachers. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data triangulation techniques. The results of the implementation of learning ablution in the Integrated Islamic Kindergarten Dar El-Iman 2 Padang City were carried out well. The activities of implementing ablution leraning are carried out using simulation methods and exercises. The simulation method shows the teacher who directly teaches the implementation of ablution to children, the steps from beginning to end using hand mevements then the child follows. The teacher signals to the child as if in front of him there is water when in fact it is not, this is done to make it easier for the child to remember the steps of performing ablution. In the practice method of performing ablution worship every week, so that children can understand and apply it in everyday life and children can do the implementation of ritual ablution as taught by the Prophet Muhammad. The implementation of ablution learning has been effective. Keyword : Implementation of worship learning, worship ablution.
