Abstract

Abstrak - Keberhasilan penerapan kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa asing diperguruan tinggi harus didukung dengan kemampuan profesional pendidik dan lembaga pendidikan mengawal pelaksanaan lima unsur yang ada dalam kurikulum. Kelima unsur ini adalah: tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pengajaran bahasa asing, bahan ajar yang digunakan, metodelogi penganjaran yang dipakai oleh dosen, alat bantu pengajaran yang mendukung proses pembelajaran bahasa dan yang terakhir proses evaluasi yang digunakan dosen dalam menentukan sejauhmana keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa asing yang dipelajari. Keseimbangan lima unsur dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing di Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia menjadi satu keharusan untuk diterapkan. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan data bahwa lima unsur kurikulum dalam pengajaran bahasa asing di Fakultas Sastra sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik walaupun dibeberapa sisi masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan lagi. Untuk mengembangkan kurikulum dan meningkatkan proses pembelajaran kemahiran berbahasa asing di Fakultas Sastra, Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia kedepannya, maka penelitian ini dilakukan.Kata kunci: persepsi, mahasiswa, proses pembelajarn, kemahiran berbahasaAbstract - The success of the curriculum of foreign language implementation at a University level should be supported by the educator’s professional skills and educational institutions itself that supports the implementation of the five elements in the curriculum. These five elements are: the goal in teaching foreign languages, the teaching materials, the teaching methodologies used by lecturers, the teaching aids that support the process of language learning and finally, the evaluation process used by lecturers in determining how far the success of the foreign language learning studied has achieved. The balance of these five elements in foreign language learning at the Faculty of Letters, Al Azhar University of Indonesia becomes a must to apply. From the results, this study obtained data that the five elements of the curriculum in the teaching of foreign languages in the Faculty of Letters has been implemented well, although some areas still need a lot of improvement. To develop the curriculum and improve the process of learning foreign language proficiency in the Faculty of Letters, Al Azhar University of Indonesia in the future, this research is conducted.Keywords: perception, student, learning process, language proficiency

Abstract

Abstrak - Perkembangan pendidikan anak usia dini berkembang dengan pesat. Hal tersebut tentunya tidak lepas dari konteks pembelajaran yang dilakukan di lembaga PAUD. Konteks pembelajaran dipengaruhi oleh berbagai factor, (1)sarana prasarana,(2) tenaga pendidik, sekolah, (3) tenaga kependidikan, dan factor psikologis lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran guru PAUD Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik, yaitu data dideskripsikan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan dimaknai secara mendalam berdasarkan perspektif emik yaitu penyajian data secara alamiah tanpa melakukan suatu manipulasi atau perlakuan terhadap subjek yang diteliti serta diperkuat melalui triangulasi data melalui observasi dan wawancara pengurus dan pendidik PAUD, orang tua, dan masyarakat sekitar sekolah. Terdapat 21 lembaga PAUD dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan : pertama, terdapat 85% pembelajaran dilakukan dengan konteks pembelajaran klasikal, kedua, terdapat beberapa factor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran guru PAUD, yaitu: (1) luas lahan yang tidak memenuhi standar (2) kompetensi pendidik yang kurang mengeksplore potensi anak didik (3) biaya pendidikan yang bersaing dengan lembaga PAUD lainnya dan (4) sarana prasarana yang sangat minim.Kata Kunci: Penguasaan Pembelajran, Pendekatan Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, GuruAbstract - The development of early childhood education is growing rapidly. It certainly can not be separated from the context of learning conducted in PAUD institutions. The context of learning is influenced by various factors, (1) infrastructure, (2) educators, schools, (3) education personnel, and other psychological factors. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect learning early childhood teachers Jabodetabek. This research is analytic descriptive, the data is described by using descriptive statistics, and interpreted in depth based on the perspective of emik is the presentation of data naturally without doing a manipulation or treatment of the subject under study and strengthened through triangulation of data through observation and interviews of PAUD administrators and educators, parents, and communities around the school. There are 21 PAUD institutions in this study. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that firstly, 85% of learning is done with the context of classical learning. Secondly, there are several factors influencing the learning of early childhood teachers: (1) the area of land that does not meet the standard (2) educative (3) educational costs that compete with other early childhood institutions and (4) infrastructure facilities are very minimal.Keyword - Learning Mastery, Learning Approach, Early Childhood Education, Teacher

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini membahas mengenai “Kingdom of Heaven” yang merupakan film yang digarap oleh industri perfilman Hollywood yang menceritakan sejarah umat manusia yang pernah terjadi di abad ke-11. Perkembangan situasi di Palestina yang belum juga memperoleh titik damai antara Palestina dan Israel, menjadi titik awal mengapa perindustrian Hollywood memproduksi sebuah film untuk mengingatkan kembali akan sebuah jalan sejarah  yang pernah ditempuh oleh Palestina. Tim peneliti mencoba memberikan tambahan dan juga analisis kritis dari film “Kingdom of Heaven” yang diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan kajian guna terciptanya rekayasa sosial dari tatanan baru yang damai di bumi Palestina. Penelitian ini terbatas pada analisis pranata masyarakat dan masih memerlukan kajian budaya khususnya sub pranata sosial lainnya yang belum dianalisis, sehingga dapat memberikan sumbangsih yang dapat mendukung dalam memberikan gambaran yang utuh akan rekayasa sosial yang diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan guna terciptanya Yerusalem yang damai. Penelitian ini juga mendeskrpsikan figur Shalahuddin yang tidak ditemukan atau masih sangat minim digambarkan dalam film ini. Perlu kiranya sebagai saran dari penelitian ini agar penelitian budaya harus terus ditingkatkan, khususnya studi kawasan Timur Tengah yang sampai hari ini masih jauh dari kedamaian dan sedang mencari format rekayasa sosial yang mendukung terciptanya situasi dan budaya masyarakat yang kondusif. Industri perfilman hendaknya dapat lebih mengeksplor lagi sumber-sumber sejarah yang digunakan sebagai dasar pembuatan sebuah film non-fiksi, sehingga penonton dapat mengambil manfaat setelah menyaksikannya karena film hari ini menjadi media yang sangat potensial dalam menyampaikan sebuah pesan.  Kata Kunci – Palestina, Kerajaan, Surga, Islam, Salib Abstract - This study discusses "Kingdom of Heaven" which is a film produced by the Hollywood film industry that tells the history of mankind that has ever happened in the 11th century. The development of the situation in Palestine isn’t yet to gain a point of peace between Palestine and Israel it became the starting point of why industrial Hollywood produced a film for recalling the history has that taken place by the Palestinians. The researcher to provide an additional and critical analysis of the film "Kingdom of Heaven" that is expected to be used as study materials for the creation of social engineering for a new order of peace in Palestine. This study is limited to the analysis of public institutions and still needs research in culture, especially sub social institutions that have not been analyzed, so as to contribute support that provides a complete picture of the social engineering which is expected to be implemented in order to create a peaceful Jerusalem. The study also describes Saladin’s figure that cannot be found or is still portrayed minimally in this film. We should also bear as a suggestion from this study that the culture research should be improved, especially the study of the Middle East are region to this day which is still far from peace and are still looking for a format that supports the creation of a conducive social engineering and cultural situation. The film industry should also be able to further explore more historical sources used as a basis for making non-fiction films, so that the audience can benefit after seeing the movie. Abstrak - Penelitian ini berjudul “Norma dan Eksploitasi Tipe Semantis Properti Fisik Ajektiva pada Frasa nomina ‘Eye’ dalam COCA”. Bahasannya mengenai klasifikasi adjekitva terhadap nomina’eye’pada tipe semantis PHYSICAL PROPERTY di 50 frekuensi tertinggi dan 50 frekuensi terendah dari 500 frekuensi frasa nomina ‘eye’. Abstract

Abstrak - The research focuses on exploring the power relations that occur in the recording of interrogation between a policeman, two pickpocket suspects, and the victim (who was also the witness) publicized by NET Mediatama Indonesia via its tv program: 86. The approach used to analyze the interrogation is the Conversation Analysis. Via Conversation Analysis, the researcher tries to reveal the structure of turn-taking in the interrogation and how this structure represents the power relations between the participants of conversation. The policeman, in this case, is presumed to be the man with higher power than the suspects and the victim, as he has the ability to control the behaviour of others while others cannot have such ability in the same area of behaviour (Meshtrie et. al 2009, p. 310). The analysis is then specified into determining the types of turn allocation: that current speaker selects the next speaker or that the next speaker selects himself (Liddicoat 2007, p. 63-67). The result of the analysis reveals that the patterns of turn allocation of the policeman are all self-selected. Meanwhile, the patterns of turn allocation of the suspects are mostly selected by the policeman as the current speakers. There are also some parts when the suspects self-select to take turn of talking when they feel like the accusation is not true and needs to be corrected. In addition, the patterns of turn allocation of the victim are mostly selected by the policeman, except in the part where he expresses dispreferences towards the suspects’ talk. In this part of the talk, the turn is self-selected. Aside from that, the analysis is also supported by the evidence of overlaps occuring in the conversation, where they occur the most when the suspects try to defend themselves but are denied by both the policeman and the victim. The problematic overlap is then resolved by the suspects, as the side of weaker power to discontinue the talk. The interesting finding of the analysis is that the victim has higher power than the suspects in the interrogation, as the man with the highest power (the policeman) takes sides on him. Keywords - Conversation Analysis, Language and Power, Language and Legal Process

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini berjudul, Belajar Kemahiran Berbahasa Asing  Mahasiswa Fakultas Sastra Melalui Aktifitas dan Program Kerja Organisasi Kemahasiswaan (Studi Analisis Program Kerja Organisasi Mahasiswa). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat sejauhmana tingkat partisipasi dan keikutsertaan mahasiswa Fakultas Sastra yang tergabung dalam organisasi mahasiswa dalam menjalankan program kerja organisasi mereka berbasis kemahiran berbahasa yang diopelajari di Fakultas Sastra. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dari hasil yang diperoleh, peneliti menganalisa dan menarasikan data-data yang didapatkan. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, Fakultas Sastra UAI dalam membina organisasi kemahasiswaan mahasiswa sudah melakukan pembinaan dengan baik, walaupun masih perlu ditingkatkan kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Konsep kekeluargaan menjadi dasar pengelolaan organisasi di FS. Program kerja yang dibuat dan dilaksakan oleh organisasi kemahasiswaan ada yang sudah menunjang proses pembelajaran kemahiran berbahasa, ada juga yang tidak.  Masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi bentuk dan pengelolaan program kerjanya. Untuk partisipasi, keaktifan dan keikutsertaan mahasiswa Fakultas Sastra yang tergabung dalam organisasi dalam mengelola organisasi mereka masih beragam. Tingkat partisipasi mereka dimasing-masing organisasi berbeda, ada yang kecil ada juga yang sudah masuk kategori baik. Kata kunci - Kemahiran Berbahasa, Aktifitas, Program Kerja, Organisasi Kemahasiswaan Abstract - This study entitled, Learning Proficiency in Foreign Language for Students Faculty of Letters through Activities and Student organization’s Work Program (the Analyzation within the Student Organization’s work program). This research was conducted to see how far the participation and involvement of students in Faculty of Letters, those who joined in the student’s organization, in running their organization work program based on the language proficiency studied in the Faculty of Letters. This research is qualitative. It has conducted by the researcher’s analyzation and narration from the data obtained. The results of the research shows that, UAI Faculty of Letters have done good coaching in fostering it student organizations, although it still needs improvement in its quality and quantity.The concept of kinship becomes the basis of organizational management in FS. The student organization has created work programs. Some of the work program that has been implemented by the student organizations supported the learning process language skills, yet some others are not. The student organization still needs to improve the form and management of the work program. The students in Faculty of Letters conduct their participation (in term of being active and cooperative within working on the work program) diversely. Some shows very little effort of participation in the work program, and others shows very good effort of participation. Keywords - Language Skills, Activities, Work Program, Student Organization

Abstract

Abstrak - Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang harus diikuti oleh setiap mahasiswa keguruan termasuk mahasiswa PAUD. Pelaksanaan mata pelajaran PPL berbeda dengan mata pelajaran lainnya yang diikuti di kelas atau dilaksanakan di kampus baik secara teori maupun praktek. Berbeda halnya mata pelajaran PPL adalah mata pelajaran dalam bentuk praktek pengalaman lapangan sebagaimana kegiatan guru di sekolah-sekolah umumnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif (qualitative research). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitik, yaitu data dideskripsikan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan dimaknai secara mendalam berdasarkan perspektif emik yaitu penyajian data secara alamiah tanpa melakukan suatu manipulasi atau perlakuan terhadap subjek yang diteliti (Bogdan dan Taylor, 1975:31). Mahasiswa PPL sebagai calon gur harus memiliki 4 kompetensi yaitu: kompetensi pedagogic, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi professional, dan kompetensi social. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiwa PPL, guru pamong, dan dosen pembimbing memiliki peran yang sangat besar dalam pelaksanaan PPL. Sedangkan peran kelompok PPL dan kepala sekolah kurang memiliki peran dalam pelaksanaan PPL. Kata kunci: mahasiswa PPL, kompetensi pedagogic, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi professional, kompetensi sosial  Abstract – Real Experience Program (PPL) is one of subject that should be followed by student of teacher training program include student of PAUD. The implementation of Real Experience Program subjects is different from other subjects that are attended in class or held on campus in both theory and practice. Unlike PPL subjects are subjects in the form of field experience practices as are the activities of teachers in general schools. The method used in this research is qualitative method (qualitative research). This research uses descriptive analytic approach, that is descriptive descriptive data, and interpreted in depth based on the perspective of emik that is the presentation of data naturally without doing a manipulation or treatment of the subjects studied (Bogdan and Taylor 1975: 31). PPL students as candidates must have four competence yitu: pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence. The knowledge that PPL students, pamong teachers, and lecturers have has a very big role in the implementation of PPL.
