Abstract

The study was caused by the students difficulties in stage make up ability, that‘s why the direct modeling. The aims of this research is to increase the students competency in stage make up by the direct modeling techniques. Modeling techniques is a teaching method by doing some demonstrated scenario by the students in front of the class, profesionalism skill and competency were expected. Modeling tehniques was used to make the observation, collecting data treatment and analize earned clearly by the students. The research useh classroom action research approach with collaborated with the other teachers. There are four research subject. They are the teaching ( as the researcher ) and the students of SMALB at SLB Negeri Tanjungpinang grade XI . According to the research result, Teaching metode by using modelling teaching ue able to increase the students competency in stage make up. It was showed from each subject test result protost result stated that the stage make up competency were: AG (35%), DL ( 35%) and FKD (34%). By going the modelling technig ue approach, the students competency were raised (AD 93%), DL (91%) and FKD (88%). This result showed each subject has a good competency in stage make up reach the very high scored level. it was conclude that the research subjects (AG, DL and FKD) mastering the stage make up competency. Subject research need to improve the ability by continuous exercise frequency by using make up equipment property.

Abstract

This study begins with students mental retardation issue was class D1 SLB Tanjungpinang Affairs, students are not familiar symbol numbers 1 through 5. So to solve this problem, researchers as classroom teachers using flash media card.Methodology This study uses classroom action research organized in the farm collaborate with peers. Subjects in this study were teachers and six students were mental retardation. Data collected by the Observation techniques, test and analyzed with qualitative data analysis techniques. Action to  implementation is done in two cycles with ten meetings. At the end of the cycle I and II evaluation.Evaluation results show the ability of the end of the first cycle students to know symbol numbers reached the 51% criterion has not reached the minimum tasan ketun-63. In order for the results obtained in line with expectations, the activities should be continued on the second cycle. After the extension of the action and an evaluation at the end of the second cycle, the data obtained average grade increased to 85%. Based on the analysis of the results of the evaluation cycle I and II, proving that the use of flash media cards can increase the ability to recognize the symbol numbers 1 through 5 for students  tunagrahita SLB class D1 State Tanjungpinang. Researchers suggest that the use of flash media cards can be an alternative choice for teachers as well as other media.

Abstract

Abstract The study is motivated to problems in the field, that in the special school children Ampek Nagari encountered mild mental retardation X class C / II had difficulty in the concept of spatial orientation. From the observation, the son of the difficulty in understanding the concept of spatial orientation right-left and front-rear. This study aims to improve the concept of spatial orientation for children with mild mental retardation shell dance. Shell dance is a dance that has distinctive features that use coconut shells. The methodology in this study are single-subject research (SSR) using ABA design. the design of a study comparing the ability of the concept of spatial orientation in young mild mental retardation X at Baseline condition, tretment conditions, and conditions of the Baseline II after given interval of time without using shell dance. Data analysis techniques are used based on the observation data in the form of Visual Analisyis Of Charts The results were analyzed included the number of observations in the baseline condition I seven times, seven times tretment condition and baseline condition II five times. The results of this study aimed at the analysis of the data in the conditions and data analysis between conditions indicating a change in the concept of spatial orientation abilities in children X into a better direction. From the results of this data acquisition can be concluded that the shell dance can be used to improve spatial orientation concepts for mild mental retardation children class C / II in SLB Ampek Nagari. Kata kunci : Tunagrahita ringan; Konsep orientasi ruang; tarian.

Abstract

Increasing the students’ ability on substraction operation by using   “borrowing of realObject medium”  at SLB Negeri Tanjungpinang grade V Tuna Grahita. study is caused by the researcher faced at the tunagrahita fifth grade of SLB Negeri Tanjungpinang. There are AG, AS, FT, PT, IC, RR, RK, RZ, WN. nine (9) student which have problems at substractions, the researcher has no an appropriate technique. The aims of this research is to increase students’ ability in substractions by using ice cream stick at Tunagrahita students and the teacher as researcher of SLB NegeriTanjungpinang. The research desain is using the classroom, action research with the other teachers help. The collection data were obtained by test and observation.The research was consisted of two treatment the data of group 1 was increasing in substraction by “borrowing technique” that is IC, PT, RR, RK and WN, but the students initial RZ, FT, AS and AG, did not reached the appropriate minimum score . that’s why the research continued to do the substraction operation by “borrow technique”, the students able to do the exercise and reach score at 65.It is proven from the research that “borrowing of real object medium” able to increase the substraction on student of SLB Tunagrahita Ringan. Then borrowing technique suggested to increase the substraction achievement.

Abstract

Integer Addition Upgrading Through Media Match For Deaf Children (Action Research in the Classroom IV SLB Tanjungpinang Affairs), Department of Education Thesis Extraordinary Faculty of Education State University of Padang. The research was motivated by the apparent problems in the field is the three deaf children in special schools D.IV class Tanjungpinang State who have difficulty in understanding the concept of summation of integers. This is evident from early childhood skills in doing operations that AP, BK, IF, S, IM, GG, NK, and CM had trouble on a number of questions given to the eighth child is not able to answer with benar.Penelitian aims to improve deaf children in the concept of integer summation media matches. Media lighter stick is a medium that serves to facilitate understanding of operational count because the integers are positive and negative numbers.The research methodology is that researchers use action research (Classroom Action Research) conducted a collaborator with colleagues. The researcher acted as executive activities while peers act as observers on duty to observe and write reports observations during the activity. Subjects were eight children with hearing impairment IVdi SLB class Tanjungpinang Affairs.Results of research conducted padaa first cycle has seen an increase in children in identifying symbol (+), (-), and arithmetic operations on integers, AP, BK, IF, S, IM, GG, NK, and CM capable of working on the given problem although there are still errors. In the second cycle, the eighth child already understands the concept of positive integers and negative integers as well as the meeting of two symbols of operational processes so that existing problems can be solved properly. The conclusions that can be taken after the study that using matchsticks media can enhance the ability of children with hearing impairment in calculating the sum of integers. From the results obtained, to improve integer addition can be used match stick media.

Abstrac Abstract: This research background overshadow from the problems who looks in the pitch, namely child with hearing impairment class of VI in SLB Negeri Limo Kaum Batusangkar who experiencing difficulty within get to know word the nature. Besides it researchers also held a oral test with using the ten the word the nature (sadly, embarrassed, angry, homesick, happy, hate, sick, lazy, afraid, arrogant) it turns out the result is child not yet known the word with well, namely child only get to know three word from ten word who supplied. Based on the mentioned hence this research aims for improve the ability known the word the nature for the child with hearing impairment class of VI through media Photos Clip in SLB Negeri Limo Kaum Batusangkar. Methodology research which used is Single Subject Research (SSR) with design his research is AB and technique visual analysis graphs. Subject of research is child with hearing impairment class of VI in SLB Negeri Limo Kaum Batusangkar. The results of research which analyzed will include number of observations on condition baseline (A) as many as eight times the observations visible highest value achieved is only 13.33%, the condition of intervention (B) as much as ten times the and highest value achieved 100%. From the the results of acquisition this data can be be concluded that the media Photos Clip can be be used for improve the the ability of known the word the nature. Abstract

This research background by the problems that researchers find in Home Schooling Padang Tiji, an autistic child who was eight years old, still has not been able to write the beginning, especially the vowels (a, i, u, e, o). This research Single Subject Research approach, the ABA design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Measurement variables using the percentage of each vowel can be written children properly. Observations made with the first three sessions, the session before being given intervention baseline (A1) performed seven times of observation, the percentage of vowels writing skills in this condition lies in the range of 0%, and 20% is at the confluence of unity, kadua third, fifth, sixth and seventh day the child can not be any writing beginning in vowels, but at a meeting of the four children to write a single vowel is the letter "i". Second, the intervention sessions (B) by using the Sensory Integration observations were made as much as ten times, the percentage of children beginning writing skills in this condition lies in the range of 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% of children are able to write the vowels (a, i , u, o). Third session baseline (A2) is done five times of observation, the results obtained in the child's ability to write the beginning of the increase that is in the range of 90% which earlier children can write letters (a, i, u, o) to 100%. Based on these results it can be concluded Sensory Integration methods are effective in improving writing skills for children beginning at Autism Home Schooling Padang Tiji.

Abstract

Efforts to enhance understanding through media vowels Tunagrahita Puzzles for children in special-ed medium classes in SLB Kartini Batam. This study originated from a concern for children Tunagrahita were to be trained how to read. The study is motivated from the fact that occur in school children are not able to read. This research aims to improve understanding of the child Tunagrahita vowels were. This study used a qualitative approach in research methodology class action (PTK). Approach to action research conducted within two (2) cycles. Cycle I read through the media shows the implementation of the puzzle has been no improvement. However, motivation and self-confidence is not in accordance with what is expected. On the implementation of the second cycle students need to be supervised and demonstrated ways a good read. Researchers have not been able to guide students in implementing reading. From the results of this study can be completed given that the action in the second cycle was obtained increased draft letter Tunagrahita child is in the letter of understanding training activities should be routine, so hopefully Tunagrahita children were able to understand the concept of a shared or private letters.

Abstract

Upgrading Eat With Spoons Contextual Approach For Children Tunagrahita Medium (Classroom Action Research Class 1 SLBN Tanjungpinang). The research was motivated by the problems that appear in the field in four children were grade DI tunagrahita SLB Tanjungpinang State, who have difficulty in eating with a spoon. This is evident from the ability to start a child in the child eat with spoon AT and DK difficulty in eating with a spoon.This study aims to improve children's ability to eat with a spoon through a contextual approach and methods of demonstration. Demonstration method is one method in which teachers demonstrate a process of activities in front of the students, after notice demonstrators students perform the same activities as demonstrated. The demonstration is intended that the child can understand the concept of teaching in performing a skill / skills through direct experience. The research methodology used was action research (Classroom Action Research), which takes the form of a collaborator with colleagues. Subjects were four children, mental retardation were one base class (D.1-C1) in SLB Tanjungpinang Affairs.Results of research conducted in the cycle I've seen an increase in children MR and SB was able to eat with a spoon, but need guidance in eating with a spoon. In general, they've seen the ability to eat with a spoon through a contextual approach. In the second cycle more visible in children's ability to skillfully eat with a spoon. It can be concluded that the contextual approach can improve the child's ability in mental retardation were eating with a spoon.

Abstract

Abstract: This research background by the problems that researchers find in SLB Muhammadyah Pauh IX Padang, a mild mental retardation children who have difficulty in reading skills hijaiyah letters. This can be seen when a child is learning in class religious subjects, having observed the boy had difficulty in reading letters hijaiyah with correct pronunciation while the child was sitting in class V. Based on this research it is intended that the children can read letters hijaiyah with the correct pronunciation, and see if the Macromedia Flash Player can improve the child's reading ability hijaiyah letter with the correct pronunciation.This research uses experimental research is in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) with the AB design. Observations conducted two sessions, namely sessions and session intervention baseline, baseline sessions before the intervention is given seven times of observation, the percentage of literacy hijaiyah letter with the correct pronunciation of this condition lies in the range of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% . Second, the intervention sessions using the Macromedia Flash Player, observations were made as much as thirteen times, the percentage of literacy hijaiyah letter with the correct pronunciation of this condition lies in the range of 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, and 100%. Based on these results it can be concluded that the Macromedia Flash player to improve reading skills for children hijaiyah letter grade mild mental retardation DV / C in SLB Muhammadyah Padang Pauh IX. Kata-kata kunci: kemampuan membaca huruf hijaiyah; Macromedia Flash Player; anak tunagrahita.
