Abstract

The purpose of designing a short film about the nature of Minangkabau women through the Sabai Nan Aluih kaba is to provide effective information, communication about emphasis and application to Minang women in the preservation of Minangkabau cultural and cultural values. However, the issue of issues that have been found to be suboptimal interest in adolescents understanding the Sabai Nan Aluih kaba and the role of the Minangkabau women, besides that there is still not enough media to listen to views such as films in exploring traditional stories. The method used in this design is a combination of the glass box and black box methods. This method cannot be separated because these two methods have their respective portions to form a balanced element in creating a work. The analysis approach uses 5W + 1H. This creative design program goes through several stages, namely Pre-production, production, and post-production. Whereas data collection uses primary data types and secondary data. The results of the design of the main media hearings Sabai Nan Aluih film became an educational media for the community, especially Minang female adolescents, how its nature as a Minangkabau woman, can attract attention to preserve the values of tradition and culture. Besides supporting media, they are posters, flash cards, stickers, key chains, t-shirts, trailers, and Instagram accounts.Keywords: Film, Nature, Women, Minangkabau

Abstract

The design aims to design a book with the theme the use of limited yard in urban areas according to the module of BPTP, West Sumatera.The method that used in designing of this book is through the Glass Box approach, with the analysis used is 5W + 1H (what, who, where, when, why and how) to find a solution to the problem.This design produced a book on the Utilization of limited Yard in Urban Areas entitled Narrow Yard Planting Models, and other supporting media, that are: posters, x-banners, aprons, t-shirts, stickers and feeds on social media (Instagram), as media support and campaign.Keyword: Book, Utilization, Narrow Yard

Abstract

The Purpose of the redesign is to produce an Anticline visual brand. The new Anticline Visual Brand is expecte to be able to build and create a new awareness of the community so that it can increase the brand’s public awareness of this brand. The stage of Visual branding Redesigning begis wth collecting and continuing data analysis. The process of collecting data is done by obsevations, interviews, and documentation. Futhermore. Data analysis was carried out using the SWOT analysis method. Ending with the design stage.Anticline Visual branding Redesigning produces the main media in the form of Brandbook which contain a description of the brand, visual element and rules for implementing these element to the media so as to build viusal that are consistent with the Anticline brand characteristics. This design is also assisted by other media namely instagram, website, shopping bag, packaging, and stationery set.Keyword: Anticline, Visual branding, Brand, Brandbook.

Abstract

The purpose of this design is to optimize learning about earthquake disaster mitigation for elementary school children in the city of Padang, through audio-visual media based on motion graphics. Because the city of Padang is a region that has a high potential for earthquakes in Indonesia, it must be balanced with adequate preparedness understanding and training. This design produces audio visual media in the form of motion graphics that contain earthquake risk reduction or mitigation. Besides this design is also supported by several other media such as: CD Cover, CD Label, Infographic Poster, Notebook, Banner, T-shirt, Hat, and Sticker. The design method used in this design is a meode glass box which is a rational and logical design, and through several stages considered by the designer.Keywords : Motion Graphic, Earthquake, Padang

Abstract

The community is a group of people who care for each other more than theyshould, where in a community there is a close personal relationship betweenmembers of the community because of the similarity of interest or values. Theprocess of formation is horizontal because it is done by individuals of equalstanding. Community is a social identification and interaction built with variousdimensions of functional needs.White Raven (白 い カ ラ ス Shiroi Karasu) is a community of Japanese cultureand pop-culture lovers founded on the common vision and mission of its members who like various things related to Japan to create a media and container for the JFans.The lack of understanding of the target audience and the lack of optimum mediain delivering information about the Japanese Community's White Raven becamethe main factor of the authors designing the Japanese Community Video Profile of White Raven. The White Raven community promotional media created in theform of audio visual aims to make it easier for people to understand informationabout the Japanese White Raven Community. In addition to this informationdelivery video profile is also supported by several other media that help the main media to introduce the subject to the target audience of posters, stickers, shirts, pins, mugs, x-banners and wall clocks.The methodology used is the 5w + 1h approach of what, who, who, where, why, Using the 5w + 1h theory, all aspects summarized in the Japanese Rural Community Video Profile procession can be packed into audio visual media, Japanese community video profile White Raven can be a medium that has factual information that is effective and communicative to the target audience.Keywords: Video Profile, Japanese Community White Raven.

Abstract

The Developing of Curriculum at elementary school nowadays has demanding the students to be more focused to their main lessons, with the result that their cultural lessons slowly fading throughout the time, The using of motion graphic to introduce them Tambo of Minangkabau on elementary school is the creative idea to make the cultural lessons are still interesting for elementary school students. The Description of Tambo with Motion graphic are one of thestrategies to draw enthusiasm of the elementary school students in studying Minangkabau’s Culture.The Motion graphic’s Design of The Tambo Alam the Origin of Minangkabau’s Ancestors as a Learning Media of Minangkabau Culture with Glass Box Method, which is attempting to find the Facts, or the Cause also the Factual Reason of the main cause of an event to find some alternate solutions upon the facing problems. The Design is doing by multiple stages such as collecting data, analysis and Design data. The Data Gathering are doing by interviews, While the Analysis are using 5W+1H, obtained by gathering data from Observation.The Design of Minangkabau Tambo’s Motion graphic will produce a media such as Animated  Video in form of Motion graphic, with its function as the media in learning process of  Minangkabau Culture. Abstract

Currently, many superhero films that picked up the story as a story, fiction superhero film with the story of these preferred by many people in Indonesia, especially by teenagers. Superhero tale presented in the homeland at this time many came from the American company Marvel and DC. Of the many superhero who became an idol rarely found from the ground water.Fiction comic design objectives Ghatotkacha the Knights Heir and comics also selected as the primary medium for comics can convey the message effectively and what can be delivered immediately understood without having to think about it as a textbook, nor a novel. When compared to novels, comics advantages lies in the visualization.The method used dperancangan this comic qualitative data analysis methods used in the design of the comic's author using 5W1H (what, where, who, why, when, how). The author conducted an analysis of the Knights of comic fiction Heir Ghatotkacha that has never been made before. As a study in designing comics and supported by media support in the form of x-banners, posters, flags Chain, pins, stickers, bookmarks, key chains, Paper Bag, and a covered plastic glasses, which can promote the comic Fiction Billy Glass Knight Heir.Keywords: Puppet Story, Gatotkaca the heir knight, Comic Fiction.

Abstract

Master Fitness Center and Aerobic identity is just a writing name “Master Fitness Center and Aerobic” only. This problem makes the logo that represent image and character has not created yet. It will also make the Master Fitness Center and Aerobic identity is not strong enough. The design aims to create a logo as identity that represent image of Master Fitness Center and Aerobic. The different visual elements will be determined so it will be easily recognized by audiens. Logo design are logotype and logogram.Design method used is glass box method. Glassbox is designing that is done rationally and logicly. The method starts from data collection, interview, and observation. Analysis approach used is SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunites, threats).Master Fitness Center and Aerobic logo design is poured in manual book as main media. Support medias are x-banner, poster, sticker, name card, member card, flyer, t-shirt, drinks bottle which are aim to strengthen the main media application.Keyword: Logo Design, Master Fitness Center and Aerobics, Media

Abstract

The film aims to publish fishing chart fisherman in the process of catching fish in the open seas. Marine is an activity carried out by generations by some people who life in over coast.In the process, many effort to obtain maximum result, marine is an effort made by some fisherman who lead by a captain (tunganai). Abstract

Andalas Mutimedia Promosindo merupakan is one of bussines entity in advertising (Outdoor & Indoor Promotion) and event organizer, that located in Padang city exactly in kalawi street no. 25 Padang. In the beginning, this company engage in the Event Organizer, but as time be run out, this company also served some of graphic design services and digital printing. Therefore tight of competition between, so it needed a new visual media of comunication and can draw attention to audience, is promotion by use media website. Choosen this media is available with needed of Andalas Multimedia Promosindo company.Method of designing web design of Andalas Multimedia Promosindo this company, in basicly by not optimally view of web design yet and information that complete from the company. Method that using is 5W+1H approach that made as basic concept of problem solution is what, who, where, when, why, and how and how so, this approached being method that effectife and comunicatif.The first, media that using at web design of Andalas Multimedia Promosindo company is website media.
