Abstract

Magenta Coklat Cake Shop is one of the cake shop in the city of Padang and established in 2006. It is started from producing Praline is made of chocolate candies containing nuts, fruits, blueberry and so on. In 2008, then Magenta Coklat Cake Shop made the brownies according to the wishes of consumers. Magenta Coklat is not only to provide the cake, but also provide dessert. The promotion that ever conducted is through the medium of newspapers. However, because of the times, among teenagers and college students that are the target audience of Magenta Coklat have rarely read a newspaper, so the use of news media does not quite reach the required target audience, as more newspapers enjoyed by the collar, so that only a few people know. Abstract

Toga Dance is a scarce traditional art from Dhamasraya Kingdom whichcentered in Siguntur Dhamasraya Regency. However, the existence of this scarce traditional art still has not been known yet. It is important to know what Toga Dance is and its history in Dhamasraya Kingdom. A documentary movie is one of some effective medias because the information conveyed through the documentary movie is more interesting on getting audience target’s attention. The designing of this documentary movie is aimed to campaign a Toga Dance and Dhamasraya Kingdom, by using an expository approach which conveying information by explaining facts combining with pictures. The methodology used is opposite to some literatures, and it uses 5W+1H method by understanding all information on a case. So the choosing of campaign mediais more effective and the messages which are delivered can be understood by the audience target.The movie begins by showing a picture of Indonesian map, then a briefexplanations about Dhamasraya Kingdom, the origin of Toga Dance, thepresentation of Toga Dance, and last is the elements of Toga Dance. Instead of documentary movie, this campaign is accompanied by supporting medias such as calendar, banner, poster, T-shirt, CD label, CD cover, key chains, and thriller which aimed to strengthen the main media.Keywords: Campaign Media, Toga Dance, Documentary Movie

Abstract

Cv. Mekar Baru Padang yang berdiri pada tahun 1985 adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang mebel yang ada di daerah Sumatra Barat. Cv Mekar Baru Padang beralamatkan di jalan Pasir Jambak No.73 Padang, yang dipimpin oleh H. Ali Jamal selaku pemilik perusahaan perusahaan.Corporate identity merupakan salah satu media yang efektif, karna dalam penyampaian informasi melalui corporate identity lebih mudah menarik perhatian target audience. Tujuan dari perancangan corporate identity adalah untuk mempromosikan suatu hasil produk, yang dibuat berupa logo yang dilengkapi dengan gambar dan tipografi, corporate identity dipilih sebagai media utama karna corporate identity seperti ini begitu mudah dicerna dan ditemukan oeh target audience.Metode perancangan yang digunakan yaitu analisis SWOT, keunggulan dari Cv. Mekar Baru Padang yaitu dimana perusahaan ini hanya memproduksi sesuai dengan pemesan saja, dan dengan konsep yang elegan, Cv. Mekar Baru Padang menggunakan kaca sebagai tampilan depan, agar semua furniture yang terpajang dapat terlihat dari luar.Di era teknologi dan informasi yang sudah maju saat ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media promosi Cv Mekar Baru Padang dalam bentuk logo sebagai media utama promosi ini dilengkapi dengan media pendukung antara lain ; pin, kalender, kartu nama, sticker,flayer,bener dan notebook.Keyword ; perancangan, logo, Cv. Abstract

Sports Science Faculty Padang State University a Science training institutions of higher education personnel. Sports Science Faculty is the only concentration in the field of sport science.Lack of understanding of the target audience and not optimal media in disseminating information about Sports Science Faculty a major factor in Video Promotion Sports Science Faculty Padang State University. Sports Science Faculty Padang Sate University is made in the form of a Video Promotion aimed so that people can more easily understand the information Sports Science faculty. In addition to the Video Promotion information delivery is also supported by several other media that help the major media to introduce the subject to the target audience, namely posters, stickers, T-shirts, mug, pin, taperware, x-banner , and calender.The methodology used is the approach SWOT strength (strength), weakness (weakness), opportunities (opportunities), threats (threats), why (why). Abstract

Kapacak is a company in the form of CV. Engaged in the Event Organizer / EO, CV. Kapacak established in 2011, is often organized sports automotive drag race, drag race is a race car on two different tracks and adjacent to, the time gauge in determining the winner. In any event the implementation of the drag race, CV. Kapacak never use the sponsor, although the sponsor's promotion is done better and more interesting than that in doing CV. Kapacak own. Therefore CV. Kapacak want to create a new media campaign, such as posters. Abstract

Interactive media recognize the names of animals and plants showing various kinds of animals and plants. Presented in the form of images and text. The process of delivering to children early age assisted by mentor teachers or parents. This certainly requires to be able to attract the attention of children and tried to optimize the delivery of information in interactive media is to be well understood. Based on the these problems, the authors will design a teaching media to recognize the names of animals and plants that displays several images of animals and plants which also include with audio of animal sounds.and audio elements that combined in this media is expected to achieve the goal of designing the interactive media. The purpose of the interactive media design itself is how to how to make the delivery of information could be optimal and may increase the existence and independence of early childhood in recognizing about animals and plants through the interactive media.The design method of this interactive media using SWOT analysis. Strength (strength) from the interactive media that will be designed, weakness (weakness) from media recognize the names of animals and plants which is graphical, opportunity (opportunities) as seen from the data of observation, and Threat (threat) found from the data of observation results. The consideration is due to SWOT analysis is used to assess and re-assess (reevaluation) something that has existed and already decided previously with the goal of minimizing the risks that may arise.Design results of interactive media recognize the names of animals and plants are packed in a CD along with the design of the cover and the cover of the CD. Abstract

Sushi is one of the traditional food from Japan, made from rice and slices of fish meat. At the present time the meal can be found in the city of Padang, housed in GOR. H Agus Salim with outlets named is "KEDAI MIE RAMEN". Design Packaging Sushi Food "KEDAI MIE RAMEN" adapting elements from Japan with to confirm that the product is original food from Japan.Data analyst method used is SWOT for the author to redesign existing packaging designs to be consider, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that can increase the excellence of the product from competitors' products.The product requires a package which aims to wrap the food in order to avoid direct contact by the outside air, on the other hand the packaging also has a function as the identity of a product issued by businesses, through attractive packaging can be used as a media campaign to introduce a product to prospective customers.Keywords: Packaging Design, Product, Kedai Mie Ramen

Abstract

Absract   The purpose of this research is to design the web promotion  media for Damar Shaker Cafe. It is designed to built up to growth of this cafe with steak and shake as the main menu. The data is got and analyzed by using SWOT method. This method is aimed to explain the strenght, the weakness, the probability, and treath of web media as a promotion vehicle. The design of this media display the following pages: home, profile, menu, gallery, and contact. This media planning is proposed to promote dammar shaker café widely and to elarge the target audience. In addition this is hoped to guide large number of custumer who do not know yet this café to be familiar with is. As a result, instead of being a place to eat, this café can be a recommedended place to hang out with friends. This can be easily reach by such of this media promotion. Abstract

Wisata Alam Lembah Harau dan Ngalau Indah kini menjadi primadona wisata di Provinsi Sumbar, banyak wisatawan baik lokal maupun Internasional mengunjungi wisata tersebut, dari kedua tempat wisata ini banyak dari para wisatawan yang telah mengunjungi tempat wisata Harau dan Ngalau mengalami keraguan karena pengucapan keduanya memiliki kesamaan bunyi sehinngga terjadilah kesalahan persepsi oleh para wisatawan tersebut dalam memposisikan tempat wisata Harau atau tempat wisata Ngalau dalam pikiran wisatawan. Wisata Alam Lembah Harau juga belum memiliki Logo sebagai identidas dan pembading dengan Wisata Alam Ngalau.Dari hal tersebut, maka dibuatlah perancangan logo Wisata Alam Lembah Harau. Logo dirancang untuk mewakili karakter dan menjadi identitas dari sebuah daerah, perusahaan, lembaga atau produk. Logo terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu logogram (ikon, simbol, visual), dan logotype (inisial, nama perusahaan dalam bentuk teks). Usaha ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan dan membedakan Wisata Alam Lembah Harau dengan Wisata Alam Ngalau indah kepada wisatawan lokal, nasional, internasion dan investor melalui logo.Metode Perancangan yang digunakan adalah analisis SWOT. Keunggulan dari Wisata Alam Lembah Harau adalah memiliki pemandangan yang indah, asri sejuk, alami dan memiliki tebing-tebing yang menahjubkan menjulang tinggi. Kelemahan dari Wisata Alam Lembah Harau adalah memiliki kesamaan pengucpan bunyi dengan Wisata Ngalau dan tidak memiliki trasportasi umum menuju lokasi wisata tersebut.Hasil dari perancangan logo Wisata Lembah Harau ini di aplikasikan berupa manual book dan poster yang juga didukung oleh media alternatif diantaranya berupa baju, X banner, gantungan kunci, poster, mug, dan stiker.Kata Kunci : Lembah Harau, Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota, Wisata Alam.
