Abstract

The Pondok Sepatu Samillo a local industry engaged in the production of sandals and shoes. Businesses that took place in the Veteran No. 3 Padang, is a family business passed down from generation to generation. Pondok Sepatu Samillo as well as other businesses, are still concerned with the benefits funsional course, has not been able to provide emotional benefits.It can be seen from different angles, ranging from the logo used not reflect the identity of Pondok Shoes Samillo, still have a lot in common with a similar business in the city of Padang. Not having a differentiator with other competing products. Products packaged or displayed sober, having no identity that can be recognized properly. Thus the visual identity Samillo cottage Shoes are not currently able to display the identity of the business, so do not have emotional value and yet provide emotional benefits for consumers. That requires Redesign Visual Identity Pondok Sepatu Samillo Padang.The analytical method used in the redesigned visual identity Pondok Sepatu Samillo, using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). This design includes designing a logo that identifies Pondok Sepatu Samillo and their application to identity guidelines, signage, stationary sets such as labels, business cards, letterheads, envelopes, notes, note pad, uniform, apron, post-it and stamp. As well as product packaging such as shoe boxes and shopping bags. Hopefully, by the redesigned visual identity Pondok Sepatu Samillo, it can provide the identity of the business, which could give the distinguishing characteristics or other business. Abstract

Cafe Ombewok established on 21 April 2016 the cafe is addressed at the Juanda no. 08 Padang, has the concept of Automotive with a diverse menu of native culinary mainstay Minangkabau like Iga Rendang, Ayam Sirah, and assorted drinks menu Cofee, Chocolate, Moctail, Squash and Tea. Cafe Ombewok have free wifi facilities, Live music, booking party and event Brithday. Lack of promotion done by the owner of Cafe Ombewok make this cafe is less known in the city of Padang. The author makes the design of audio-visual media in the form of a video, the video will be made into two versions, with a duration of 1 minute 26 seconds will uplod to youtube, facebook and twitter and the next version with a duration of 59 seconds will be uplod to social media instagram, with their promotional design is expected to make Cafe Ombewok known and able to compete with competitors-competitors.Keywords: promotions, videos, cafe, Cafe Ombewok

Abstract

The purpose of this final work are : (1) to design a media campaign that the system of private laundry customer service offered is better known and understood by the public. Moreover, the customer service system offered a private laundry is still new and is the only laundry that use such a system in the city of Padang (2) designing a media campaign that is more attractive to gain communicative, so that the message and purpose conveyed easy to understand and attract more target audience in order to engage the services of private laundry. The data about media in the promotion can be collected by using observation and interview. Result of final work is a brochures as the primary media that includes all information about private laundry, especially regarding customer service system that is in use. Keywords: private laundry, promotions, customer service, brochure

Abstract

Traditional games Sipak Tekong is the game that has been passed down by Indonesian society since the former. Forms of the game that there is nothing to hide and seek. The game is common in some parts of Indonesia, but here the authors conducted a survey in the districts Patamuan in regency Padang Pariaman Sumatera Barat. Based on the author's observation, the game Sipak Tekong has been almost forgotten by the children as more interest in the children of the modern game. And there is no better promotion of the game which is able to remind the public, especially the children that traditional game Sipak Tekong is very much useful.The design of the traditional game comics Sipak Tekong aims to remind people of tradition and culture that deserves to defended. In addition to comic media promotion is also supported by other media such as T-shirts, picture cards, pins, bags, stickers, calendars, mugs, notebooks, and candy jars. The design is based on the theory of media data analysis 5W1H, by following the path of the data analysis can be seen in detail on how to design an attractive of media for the promotion of traditional games Sipak Tekong. Based on a comic design is expected to be medium or media that is able to seize the attention of the public especially children to the traditional game pantasnya Sipak Tekong back toned.Keywords: Sipak Tekong,Tradition, Comics.

Abstract

Effort "Kopi Beringin" is one of the coffee powder products in Nagari Alahan Panjang, District Lembah Gumanti, Kab. Solok, established in 1985 under the leadership of Zulfa Hendra. Weakness of these products contained in the package wrapped in clear plastic, packaging as it can not compete in the market. The author aims to design packaging design Kopi Beringin order to compete in the market, especially in young people.The design of the packaging is shaped sheath, made from calico cloth, string ties as a binder cover, hanger tape as product information. Layout product logos, illustrations effort "Kopi Beringin" with the concept of urban art that aims to attract the attention of young people to buy their products and provide headline "Fragrant and Delicious", the tagline "100% Genuine Coffee" will reinforce the views and information about the product delivered invitation packing.Packaging design as a communication tool can be interpreted that the packaging design not only as a wrap or cover an item or group of items, but provide information that is clear and complete for the content or the content of a product, ideally when the packaging design is able to provide information to consumers value will it is better to avoid consumer confusion.Proper design method is the SWOT analysis as in the design of the writer redesigning existing packaging designs, with a balance of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that a comparison between the new designs, old designs and competitors products.Keywords: Design packaging, Kopi Beringin, Urban Art

Abstract

The purpose of designing a media campaignin the form of a book of this profile are (1) Introduction to the general public so thatmotivates the community inpreserving forests, (2) Increase knowledge and awareness to preserve and conserve the forest to the community, (3) Introducing West Sumatra Forestry Department in the form of company profile that people get information about the importance of forests and how to preserve it, (4) Assist the forestry department will inform the implementation of the work program, (5) Socialize the importance of protecting forests to the community especially the city of Padang. This data is obtained from observations and interviews with agency staff Forestry. Data one is using swot analysis. SWOT analysis stands for English Language, "strength" /strengths, "weakness" /weaknesses, "chance" opportunities, and the "threat" of threats. Swot analysis used in this study because of SWOT is away to analyzethe data, analysis conducted to assess and re-assess the (re-evaluation) a matter that has been there and has previously been decided in order to minimize the risks that may arise.

Abstract

Distro Reckless store is one of the manufacturers of menswear Reckless Store is a distro which is in the district of Padang precisely on Jl. 1 No.34 Andalas Padang, these distributions selling haberdashery products. Reckless Store was originally established with a capital of courage and daring and do not have a lot of capital and therefore owner coined the name Distro Reckless Store Design of corporate identity is taken from the character of the distributions Reckless store namely Pioneers, Dynamic, and Fresh and combined with the concept of simple and attractive that can be recognized , remembered by the target audience who later became the center of attention.Corporate identity design method Reckless store distribution is based on the absence of Corporate identity representing Reckless as distributions menswear store in Padang, western suamtera. Methods of data analysis are SWOT analysis because with this method the authors can be analyzed by using the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats so as to create a successful brand.The main media used in the design Corporate identity Reckless store distro is that media and signage manual book.
