Abstract

“Kerupuk Talas Dua Putra" is one of the culinary delights that exist in the Nagari Aia Tabik, Kecamatan Baso, Agam, established in 2005 with owner is Rina Rimanti. The weakness of this product are on the packaging wrapped in clear plastic, packaging is less attractive to consumers because of the impression of the ordinary.The design of this package consists of a box, plastic, and cardboard. Layout product logos, illustrations “Kerupuk Talas Dua Putra" with the headline "Nan sabana Rapuah", the tagline "cemilan Khas Sumatera Barat" will reinforce the view and information about the product packaging delivered invitation.Proper design method is the SWOT analysis for the redesign existing packaging design, with a balance of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that a comparison between the new designs, old designs and products of competitors. Packaging design as a means of communication can be interpreted that the packaging design not only as a wrap or cover an item or group of items, but provide information that is clear andcomplete for the content or the content of a product, ideally when thepackaging design is able to provide information to consumers valuewill better to avoid consumer confusion.Keywords: Design, Packaging, Kerupuk Talas

Abstract

At the time of this cafe is one of the business is very high demand, seen from the habits of young people today who like Hangout, .yaitu gathered to just talk in the cafe, with the advent of this habit, the cafe became one of the favorite places for children young to socialize.Cafe nest crow's own stand, to facilitate social of young people, as a place to gather and relax, cafe crow's nest has a strategic place to be on the highway, and in addition Talago, atmosphere Talago those enjoyed by people as a place to enjoy nature because of the beautiful scenery who was in the cafe. But to introduce this cafe crow's nest requires a promotion.From this analysis, the authors found that one medium that is very good and effective are billboards, because billboard huge outdoor media that could attract the attention of the target audience, and is considered an excellent fit with the strategic areas owned by the crow's nest cafe. By using SWOT analysis method Media support used is the x-banner, menu books, key chains, stickers, cards, flags and paper cup chain.With the completion of the design of this crow's nest cafe promotion, expected to provide penambahaan visitors to the cafe..Keyword: Cafe, Promosi, Baliho

Abstract

AbstrakPromosi tradisi serak gulo dalam media film dokumenter ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari secara dalam dan dapat diketahui oleh masyarakat luar terutama Sumatera Barat. Selain film dokumenter promosi ini juga didukung oleh media lainnya seperti: baju kaos, jam, pin, gantungan kunci, stiker, kalender, mug, batasan buku, dan Imsakiyah Ramadhan. Perancangan media ini berdasarkan teori SWOT, dengan adanya SWOT dapat diketahui bagaimana kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan bagi promosi serak gulo dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Berdasarkan hasil rancangan desain promosi yang menggunakan media film dokumenter dapat menjadi sarana/media yang mampu menyita perhatian dari masyarakat luar terutama Sumatera Barat, dengan media film dokumenter yang memenuhi layout/tata letak sesuai dengan aturan komunikasi visual yang dapat melancarkan tujuan dari film dokumenter serak gulo ini.Abstractthe promotion of serak gulo tradition in this film documenter aims to learn more deeply and known by outsider as well especially west sumatera people. This film documenter is supported as well by other medias for instance T-shirt, clock, pin, key holder, sticker, calendar, mug, book definition and imsakiyah ramadhan. The csheme of thios media related to 5W+1H theory, it can be seen now strength, weakness, opportunity, and challenge for promotion of serak gulo which can be know by society. Pursuant to be result of design promotion scheme using media of film documenter become facility/media capable to confiscate attention of eksternal people especially west sumatera, through media of film documenter fulfill layout/ arrangement related to the rule of visual communication to apply the aim from serak gulo film documenter.

Abstract

One of the wealth natural resources on earth is the vast sea. One of them is Indonesia. Indonesia is maritime country which most of its territory is the sea. The sea is very influential in human life. Many benefits and purpose in the sea especially the organism in there particullary a fish. Fish are organism are has habitat on the water not only that, this animal also belong in the food chain of human because it has animal protein. Which has a lot of protein and nutrient, fatty acid, omega 3, vit D and B2, calcium, phosphor, minerals, zing, iodine, magnesium, and potassium are important for human growth.The purpose of this final work is to inform the benefits contained in the fish means of prints ad with the concept interesting and education to Print Ad “The Benefits of Eating Fish”. The author use design method ranging from collecting data through observation interview, and followed by using the method of data analysis using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Treatment). The next author began a creative design. In designing print ad the author displays layout, typography, illustration, and attractive color that match the print Ad “The Benefit of Eating Fish”.Print Ad attractive design will be special attraction for the target audience to see and read information on the benefit of fish in print Ad to increase competent knowledge and resources.Keyword : Print Ad, benefits of eating fish.

Abstract

Apportionment of a public transportation in Padang gives facilitation for the people to get anywhere that they want. This situation has not completely complete with the spreading of media effectively, communicatively and esthetically. There is a number of public transportation which has same color and form that quite hard to differentiate with.The researcher made a design of informative media in a booklet form as the main media and other eight supporting media such as sticker, calendar, poster, neon box, x-banner, brochure, flayer and billboard. In the process of collecting the data, the researcher did some observation, interview, documentation and took data from the internet, while the booklet design and other supporting media used 5W+1H method. The goal of this final project itself is to create an informative media about public transportation in Padang which is effective, communicative and esthetic in order the users felt compatible when using it. Furthermore, it also expected to help the tourism sector for gaining the interest from its uniqueness. Booklet, sticker, calendar, poster, neon box, x-banner, brochure, flayer and billboard will become an efficient media to give information to the people as the target audience.Keyword : booklet design, route, public transportation, Padang

Abstract

This thesis aims to produce a design that is attractive about the book Psychology of Color in Visual Communication media written by Muzni Ramanto. The design method used by the authors is the beginning of the data collection method is through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Then proceed with the data analysis method using 5W +1 H analysis (what, where, when, who, why, and how) and creative approach. In this design the author will display the layout, cover, typography, and color in accordance with the contents of the book by using the software Corelldraw kalaborasi Grapics Suite X4 and Photoshop CS4. Abstract

David Haji Umar Umar or familiarly called by Haji Id is a successful entrepreneur and successful in the field of culinary named Cafe Batang Agam in Payakumbuh. Haji Id have a hard life experience in the past. Travel and life experiences of the implementation until now and is often used as an example by the public as a lesson in life. Haji Id is a figure that persistent, motivated and hardworking. Viewed from the persistence and hard work that is owned by him, came the idea to make a documentary. The goal is to demonstrate to the public about the life of Haji Id and demonstrate to the public that with hard work and perseverance in carrying something that is impossible to do. In addition, through this documentary is also expected to promoting Cafe Batang Agam Haji Id.This thesis aims to produce a documentary about Haji Id. The design method used by the authors is the beginning of a method of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then proceed with the data analysis method using data analysis 5W-1H (What, Where, When, Who, Why and How), then concludes the analysis of data and perform a creative approach (the main media and supporters). In making this documentary writer and visual displays verbal message for the audience to see / watch this movie.With the making of a documentary about Haji Id, is expected to increase the motivation of people to work harder in life. In addition, is expected to attract the attention of buyers or the public at large so as to enhance the efforts of existence culinary field named Cafe Batang Agam in Payakumbuh this.Key word: Film Documentar, Haji ID, Desain.

Abstract

Cake Bengkuang WH8 merupakan salah satu usaha yang mengolah bengkuang menjadi cake bengkuang yang beralamat di Jalan Raden Saleh Cimpago No. 17 Padang 25115. Promosi yang sudah dilakukan oleh pemilik usaha cake bengkuang WH8 adalah dengan membuat kartu nama, brosur, baliho, mengikuti pameran, sosial media Facebook.Tujuan perancangan ini adalah berbentuk merancang desain web usaha cake bengkuang WH8 Kota Padang serta media pendukung lainnya untuk memberikan informasi secara langsung dan tampilan yang lebih rinci tentang Cake WH8 untuk target konsumen dan segmentasi pasar, seperti: pengembangan promosi bagi usaha dan memperkenalkan informasi teknologi untuk pengembangan usaha cake bengkuang WH8, membangun dan meningkatkan nilai penjualan untuk usaha, memperkenalkan merek cake bengkuang WH8 dan hasil produksi. Pemilihan desain web sebagai karya akhir ini bertujuan untuk membangun rancangan promosi cake bengkuang WH8 yang informatif dan komunikatif sesuai dengan kelebihan dari desain web tersebut, yaitu dapat menjangkau sasaran yang luas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dan metode analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT (strenght, weakness, opportunities, threats).Perancangan Desain Web Promosi Usaha Cake Bengkuang WH8 Kota Padang ini juga menampilkan pesan verbal dan pesan visual. Media utama yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah desain web sedangkan media pendukung yang digunakan adalah web banner, x-banner, label, kartu nama, shopping bag, t-shirt, pin.Kata kunci : Perancangan, Desain Web, Promosi, Cake Bengkuang WH8

Abstract

Purpose of this final work is (1) Produce a concept design of the website design online sales, (2) Produce a website design visualization products for sale at a car parts store, and (3) Communicating the website design as an alternative to the place of purchase in accordance with the needs of consumers. Sources of this thesis is the method of data collection in the form of field observations, interviews, as well as through the documentation on the store Honda Radja Motor. Abstract

J. Six Cafe is a cafe located in the city of Padang, Standing on December 22 2012, the building area of 180 m². The origin of the name is taken from the café J.six Jalan Ir. H. Juanda No. 06 Padang, The address is the place J.six cafe itself. J.six cafe has a tagline “Hang style cafe, cafeteria style price”. J. Six cafe've never done before promotional media such as radio, and brochures, but not optimal. Authors interested in making television commercials, on television media campaign to reinforce the message to make it more impact on the target audience.The main concern in the design of this, namely how to design a media campaign television ads as j. Six cafe in the field, in order to inform the presence of J. Six cafe, services, food, drink, and the food is priced by weight, cheap to the target audience through television advertising. Design method used is the SWOT analysis. The advantages of television advertising media is the message it conveys is fast and easy to remember. Television commercials to learn about the process of planning, recording, and editing a series of events (the image), to clarify things realistically depict J.six cafe in a short time.Therefore, the design through the medium of television is expected to attract the attention of the target audience, in order to visit the J. Six cafe. Television advertising is the main medium is chosen to promote J. Six cafe, which is supported by other media is a list of menus, chain flags, pins, stickers, T-shirts, mugs, plates, ashtrays, posters, plates and vouchers.Keywords: Design, Promotion, J. six cafe, TV Ad
