Abstract

Anak Hiu Clothing is a distribution outlet that was pioneered by the Boy Agung since 2008 has grown until now as the needs and interests of high society against one surf brand products. However, Anak Hiu Clothing do not have a fixed visual identity branding image and identity as a differentiator from competitors. Destination branding visual identity design Anak Hiu Clothing is to establish brand awareness and market segmentation in the community of the uniqueness and advantages through the process of branding visual identity.The analytical method used in the design of visual identity branding Anak Hiu Clothing approach SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The the idea development orientation of designing visual identity branding includes the main media in the form of logos and media support in the form of T-shirts, tote bags, sales invoices, hang tags, stamps, cards, stickers, pens and neon box. Hopefully, by the visual design identity branding can provide a meaningful contribution through positioning, in addition to strengthening the competitiveness of the competitors distro clothing that has been developed at this time.Keywords: Visual Branding, Branding, Identity, Design, Anak Hiu Clothing.

Abstract

AbstractState University of Padang (UNP) is one of the country's leading higher education institutions in West Sumatera. In a government and private institutions, the use of means of transportation very important role to support the smooth running of activities undertaken. Currently, a widely used means of transportation at the State University of Padang is the kind of motor vehicles and motor cars. Phenomena occurring at the State University of Padang on the motor vehicle is, the onset of discomfort on the move. These include discomfort, noise pollution, air pollution, public order disturbances caused by motor vehicles. The design of this poster campaign through the media aims to make comfortable and orderly atmosphere in the campus environment, and make Padang State University academic community more healthy without air pollution. The method used in this campaign using the two methods. The first method of data collection and data analysis methods. Data collection methods, the authors do by way of interviews, observation, and documentation. Second, the method of data analysis using SWOT analysis. From the SWOT analysis will be obtained Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, and the Threat of this campaign. The results of the analysis of the campaign to popularize the use of bicycles to the students of UNP media is the creation of a poster design and its supporters are referring to the principles and rules of design in general.Kata Kunci: Kampanye, Sepeda, Mahasiswa, Poster

Abstract

Target of scheme of ION Hotel logo is design to repeat communicative logo logo purposes and objectives expressing tired company identity. Methodologies which is used in scheme repeat this ION Hotel logo, method analyse SWOT ( Strength, Weakness, Opporunity, Treatment). Pursuant to target of in used methodologies, to be yielded by new logo of unique ION Hotel, drawing and typically able to deputize company identity. Abstract

Distro Coral Girls is one of the distributions that are new in town week. These distributions have been established since 2003 At the beginning of this distribution named SK8 and in 2006 changed to Coral who the target audience is men and since 2011 distributions Coral changed its name to Coral Girls who the target audience is also changed into a woman. Address distributions Coral Girls in Jln. Kaharudin Nasution No. 142 and 143, Marpoyan, Pekanbaru. After changing the name and the target aundience, Coral Girls distributions have not been doing a special promotion. Promotion is done only by fuel and by word of mouth.From these two distributions made Coral Girls design promotion through media websites. The website is a place or location in the Internet network created by companies, organizations or individuals and can be visited by anyone. Website chosen as the main medium for technology and information today is so readily available.Design method used is the SWOT analysis. The advantages of this website is the media have access to a wide range of media that never cease operations, the visual display is interactive and engaging. The weakness of this medium, to be able to access the website should have an internet connection and a device and a slow loading process.The era of technology and information is now easily encountered and used, so it can be used for the promotion of distributions Coral Girls in a web form. Abstract

The objective of this design is to redesign the logo of Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Suka Maju Sejahtera (SMS) of Padang, with an design that easy to remember, flexible, dynamic dan communicative. Analysis aprroach of this design is SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opporunity, Treatment). Based on the analysis this logo used CASPER (contrast, alignment, simplicity, proximity, emphasis, repetition) rules standar, that rules has made legability, readibility and flexibility of the logo easily understood by its target audience. The redesign of this logo is the main design and it is aimed to support promotion media. Logo as visual identity has created product potitioning in the target audience mind. The redesign of this new logo helpes to develope community image about this business unit PKBM SMSKeyword: Redesign, Logo, PKBM, Suka Maju Sejahtera.

Abstract

West Sumatra, especially Padang city have potential of natural disaster such as earthquake, lanslide, flood, and so on. The potentially natural disaster occur in Padang is earthquake, which is the geographic state of Padang is closer to Indo-Australia part that potentially cause a huge earthquake (megathrush) and Tsunami. The causes of Padang is in danger zone earthquake , the writer create an infographic media of guidance for earthquake and Tsunami alert which has informative and communicative booklet. The planning method that is used is collecting data trough observation, interview, and documentation. Then it continued with data analysis 5W 1H method. The purpose of this design is designing an informative and communicative booklet for audience target, especially for student and Padang society. This design has the main media as booklet and the supporting media such as banner, poster, x-banner, flyer, calendar, digital booklet, sticker, pin, and T-shirt.Keywords: Booklet, Disaster Alert, Audience.

Abstract

Nowadays, Android-based technology not only facilitates people to communicate but also leads them to search for various information and news. Android-based communication media is essential for people as it offers easiness and practicality for they with high mobility level.Today, various applications are created to promote places or travel destinations. A museum managed by Padang government by coordinating with West Sumatera Culture Service Agency named Museum Adityawarman, now is providing general information service about the museum. The service was completed with a user-friendly and high speed android-based application which eases people to get the information they need. Thus, they don’t need to access the museum’s website to get the information before they entering the museum.The application is programmed to read hybrid language and supported with Android Studio emulator. This Android-based mobile application is expected to be able to accommodate people with high mobility level receiving information, particularly the information about Museum Adityawarman.Keywords: Museum Adityawarman, Android-based application, Android Studio

Abstract

Caredek Hotel merupakan salah satu hotel yang ada di kota solok yangberlokasikan di jalan Dt. Perpatih Nan Sebatang (Air Mati) Kota Solok, Sumatera Barat. Caredek Hotel didirikan pada tanggal 29 November 1986, dan dipimpin oleh bapak H. Adjis Mi’in. Selama hotel didirikan, belum pernah dipromosikan dalam bentuk media apapun.Untuk itu, maka dibuatlah perancangan promosi Caredek Hotel di kotaSolok melalui media iklan televisi. Iklan televisi merupakan, sebuah media untuk mempromosikan suatu produk, dibuat berupa video yang berdurasi 30 detik dan di tambah dengan gambar dan audio dilengkapi dengan pesan yang singkat dan tepat. Iklan televisi dipilih sebagai media utama karena teknologi dan informasi seperti ini begitu mudah ditemukan.Berdasarkan dari data yang diperoleh mengenai Caredek Hotel, yangmenjadi kekuatan dari hotel ini adalah lokasi hotelnya yang strategis karena berada diantara pusat kota dan pusat perbelanjaan kota Solok. Namun ada beberapa kelemahan pada perusahaan Caredek Hotel yaitu dari segi Room Rate (tarif kamar), harganya tidak sebanding dengan hotelnya karena hotel ini merupakan hotel kelas melati, jadi masih ada hotel kelas melati lainnya yang lebih murah sehingga menjadi ancaman bagi Caredek Hotel. Yang menjadi peluang dari perusahaan Caredek Hotel ini adalah dari segi fasilitasnya yang lengkap dengan disediakannya ruang kamar khusus keluarga, pelayananannya yang ramah dan memuaskan terasa seperti di rumah sendiri serta disediakan fasilitas ruang rapat bagi para tamu yang sedang melakukan perjalanan bisnis keluar kota.Pada zaman kini, teknologi dan informasi sangat mudah ditemui sehinggadapat dimanfaatkan untuk promosi Caredek Hotel dalam bentuk iklan televisi. Didukung oleh media lain yaitu Poster, X-Banner, Kotak CD, Label CD, Kartu Nama, Mug, Handbook, Kalender, Handuk, Kemeja.Kata kunci : Promosi, Iklan Televisi, Video, Caredek Hotel.

Abstract

The purpose of final project: (1) Promoting the Audio Visual “Bali Heritage Salon And Day SPA” Padang trough Social Media,which uses the concept of Bali. (2) Promotting Bali Heritage Salon And Day SPA with audio visual publicized through social media, that especially women the Padang city feel SPA Bali although not in Bali.
