Abstract

Knowledge in fashion style is still uncommon by most women, meanwhile guidance in  ashion is still difficult to find especially one with pictures. Therefore it is needed to  ompose book as a style guidance. Fashion and Style Guide’s book is devided in to two sections, that are fashion dictionary and style guide that is consist of guidance and tipsin fashion. This book is filled with attractive watercolor illustrations to create a better understanding for the readers. The objective of composing this book is to upscale the  elfconfindence of women in wearing their clothes. 5W +1H analysis is used in finding the solution in composing the book. Literature study is done to complete the verbal content from target audience. The result of the study is written in simple and attractive language. Supporting media such as e-poster, Ig  ccount, mini journal, notebook, pin, stickers is created to support the book existence.Keyword : Book, fashion, style, illustration.

Abstract

This journal was created to create a medium for promoting the dance of Randai Saedar Siti in the form of dukudrama films which were made as the main media. The design of dokudrama film media as a medium for the promotion of randai dance. Saedar, the Minangkabau cultural tradition. With the delivery of information through the media film dokudrama is expected to be responded well by the public. Through this dokudrama film, it is hoped that it can be made as a document to make  education about the Saedar Siti randai dance. The design of the dokudrama film as a promotion of randai saedar siti dance requires providing all matters related to randai Saedar Siti, namely  discussing how the Minangkabau traditional cultural values and the noble values contained in the story of randai saedar siti dance. The design of the dokudrama film as a promotion of the SaedarSiti randai dance was carried out using the FOUR D. design method. Also through a research process that involved collecting data by observing, interviewing and studying literature. The data is then used to develop stories and basic concepts of visual communication such as cinematography, picture taking angles, to be applied so that they can be easily accessed by the target audience.Keywords: film, docudrama, promotion, dance and culture.

Abstract

The absence of a visual identity of the business of Nasi Sek Uniang Seafood Warung, based on observations of the current conditions, so it has not shown a visual identity that can be recognized by the public or consumers, in addition to business competitors Sek Uniang Rice Nasi Warung that developed in Padang. The purpose of this design is to create a visual identity in the form of information in the form of logograms and logotypes of the products of Sek Uniang Rice Nasi Warung.The design method used is the Glass Box method, the design carried out rationally and logically, starting from data collection, interviews and observations. The analytical approach used is the 5W + 1H analysis method (what, who, where, when, why, how) to find a solution to the problem at hand.The design of the main visual media identity of the Uniang Rice Seafood Stalls namely manual book, as well as supporting media namely, sign board, business card, menu list, hat, paper bag, invoice, clothes, apron, poster, x-banner, paper bag, mug, stickers, pins and stamps, which aim to strengthen the application of the main media.Keywords: Visual Identity, Brands, and Sek Uniang Rice Seafood Stalls.

Abstract

The Lacks of information about facilities and tourist attractions in Pantai Padang as a Tourism Object makes some visitors confused. The need for a marking system (sign system) in the Pantai Padang areas will make it easier for visitors to get information. The designing of sign systems in the area Object Tourism of Pantai Padang that is interesting, effective and communicative will be the right solution. The purpose of the designer was that the sign system can be built and applied to the Object Tourism of Padang Beach.The design method used was the glass-box by interview and documentation. Completing the analysis used in the progress was 5W + 1H. What is the solution (What), why should design the sign system (Why), who is the target of design (Who), where is the location of the sign system (Where), when the system sign will investigate (When), how to design the sign system (How) . The main media for the announcement was the sign systems. The supporting media for the main design were bus stickers, umbrellas, hats, T-shirts, mugs, stickers and key chains.Keywords: Sign System, Information, Communication, Padang Beach Tourism Object

Abstract

The Man Upon The Hill Video Clip is full of unique visual communication graphic content such as  the appearance of some symbols in this clip that affect the number of viewers, with a non-linear plot. This research intention is to identify the symbols contained in the video clip and find out the  meaning of the visual in the video clip o  Man upon the Hill.This research using a semiotical method proposed by Roland Barthes, sign as meaning with  denotation and connotation level, with connotation level two. Using the qualitative methods in  collecting the data, the data was collected by dividing the video clips based on the scene and  identifying symbols and meanings contained in the video clips that are supported by interview data.The Man Upon the Hill video clip as a whole presents the meaning of human spirituality with nature  presented in various symbols along with supporting natural elements such as; water, fire, and earth  (land), which are presented through this visual video clip.Keywords: Video Clips, Symbols, Human Spirituality

Abstract

The Publisher is an industry that is concentrated in the areas of produce and  eproduce a paper or literature. Design promotion Publisher Salemba Branch West  umatra through the medium of TV advertising as the major media because the media are most easy to found a society at the moment is TV Television Commercial. The concept of TV advertising's future themed traveling because reading a book we can venture out and explore the world more. Methods used in the collection of data is by holding interviews, observation, and documentation, while the method of the approach used in the design is a SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunity, treath). Design promotion in the form of TV ads it will be equipped with several media such as posters, supporting the X-Banner, T-shirt, CD labels, calendars, stickers and key chains.Keywords: Publisher, Salemba, TV Commercials

Abstract

The purpose of this design is to provide encouragement to teens in overcoming the dangers of playing excessive online games. The design method used is the glass box method which is a rational and logical design, and through several stages that are considered by the designer.Designing interesting and well-conveyed motion graphics, the designer conducts research and data collection by observing, interviewing and studying literature. With this problem the solution to overcome the dangers of online games in adolescents is to socialize audio visual form of motion graphics about the dangers of playing online games for adolescents in the city of Padang. This design is supported by several supporting media such as: Poster, T-shirt, Totebag, Key Chain, Sticker, Notebook, CD Cover and CD Label.Kata Kunci : Motion Graphic, Game Online, ILM, a Teenager, Padang City.

Abstract

The Pasar Seken of Bukittinggi city is a market area that sells various imported used clothing imported from various countries in the world. The clothes sold in the seken market have good quality at affordable prices. In its existence the seken market does not only become revenue turnover of the region but also becomes one of Bukittinggi's cultural heritageLack of understanding of the target audience and not optimal media in delivering information about the Bukittinggi Seken market is the main factor the author designed the Bukittinggi Secondary Documentary Video market. Documentary video media heritage of bukittinggi Pasa Seken is made in audio visual form so that the public can more easily understand information about the market as well as high. In addition to the documentary video, this information delivery was also supported by several other media that helped the main media to introduce the subject to the target audience, namely posters, stickers, t-shirts, pins, mugs, x-banners and wall clocks.The methodology used is the 5w + 1h approach, which is what, who, when (when), where (where), why (why) and how (how). By using the theory of 5w + 1h, all aspects summarized in the documentary videos of heritage of bukittinggi Pasa Seken can be packaged into audio visual media, heritage of Bukittinggi documentary videos Pasa Seken can be a media that has effective and communicative information for the target audience.keyword: Video Documenter, Pasar Seken, Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Dating sims Game PARAS is a simulation game with interaction pattern of a relationship which is inside the gameplay there are various content is close to indonesian. One of which is design of the heroine. Heroine is a the main woman character in dating sims games. The goals is to make the significant diferent with a dating sims games in japan and hopefully to make a teenagers in indonesia more close to content in indonesia.Method use in design of the heroine is a brainstorming method and after that is observation, quesioner and interview. Abstract

The purpose of designing this Picture storybook of Putri tujuhis to preserve traditional values, so people could care more about theircultural heritage. The method of data analysing indesigning this Picturestorybook of Putri Tujuh is 5W 1H which data have been obtainedthrough observation, interview, survey and literature. The book isdesigned using related theories such as visual communication design,layout, illustration, and typography.
