Abstract

The use of the tank as well as a container or tank of liquid reserves to make use of the tank as a necessity. By using its own tank design model which is technically very possible to make the pressure in the tank is less than atmospheric pressure so that the tank will take some role pump connected in series are used for the purpose of improving high pressure. Thus the pressure in the tank is smaller than the atmospheric pressure is only generated from the process flow itself will save pump power required on the press. To prevent the air pressure in the tank exceeds the atmospheric pressure relief valve on the tank supplied air to the atmosphere. The more water into the tank, the greater the downward thrust force due to the weight of water and by the buoy to the piston in fixed position, the tank will move downward relative to the piston. The pressure in the tank due to the movement of the closed tube will follow the phenomenon of negative pressure. To get a larger volume of air or spring difleksi rate greater then the pole float should be as light as possible and frictional forces as small as possible.The goal is to produce a prototype tank that can lighten the pump working in particular on the discharge side so it can be input pump power savings. The calculations show that a high hit on the side of the press can be reduced upto 100 percent even including reducing losses on the discharge side by enlarging the capacity of the tank. Thus happen electricity savings of the power required on the discharge side of the pump to drain the water into the tank. With spring replacement inverting the inversion moment will produce a higher pressure suction force behind the rise of the spring.

Abstract

Ketidakergonomisan ruang kemudi Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) dapat menyebabkan seorang masinis terkena Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorder (WMSDs) yang berdampak pada berkurangnya kemampuan konsenterasi saat mengoperasikan KRL yang cendrung statis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan usulan desain ruangan kemudi terbaik, baik dari ukuran kursi dan kabin serta penempatan instrumen pengontrol dan layar pemantau yang dapat mengakomodasi postur kerja masinis agar terhindar dari WMSDs. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis resiko postur pengemudi dengan metode Quick Exposure Check (QEC). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan total skor akhir eksposur dan level tindakan yang diperoleh dari sampel yang bekerja ruang kemudi masinis masih beragam dan semua hasil level tindakan yang diperoleh menunjukkan 58 masinis mengalami eksposur level 3 dengan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan ialah tindakan dalam waktu dekat yang berarti tindakan perlu dilakukan secepatnya dan 2 masinis mengalami eksposur level 4 dengan tindakan yang perlu dilakukan ialah diperlukan tindakan sekarang juga.

Abstract

Production is an economic activity that adds value by creating and providing goods and services, the creation of products or services and at the same time the creation of value. In economics, production is the act of creating the output, goods or services that have value and contribute to individual utilities.Production line balancing is a very important thing in planning production. Expected to regulate the flow of process efficiency can be achieved optimum production. In addition, the accumulation of intermediate goods from one machine to another machine, thus resulting in increased balance delay. In the process of making drinking water should be done step-by-step production process is handled hygienically, because bottled water products consumed directly by the human body. Drinking water production capacity is 5250 bottles per day, equivalent to 218 boxes, but the target is the company charged, equivalent to 7000 bottles of 291 boxes per day. With the method of determining the regional approach has obtained the standard time of each process for each work station and increase worker productivity, increased production capacities of 218 boxes / day to 295 boxes / day after the repair, companies gain efficiency by 35%

Abstract

Event Service to the community for the partner group of fishermen village of Caringin District of Labuan Pandeglang in Banten Province aims to provide training and manufacturing miniature hull fishing boat outrigger fiber glass so that partners fishermen groups can manufacture fishing boats outrigger made of fiber glass are actually independently as an attempt to divert outrigger fishing boats from wood to glass fiber materials for the development of the fishing fleet in order to maintain/increase the fish catch in order to improve the standard of living to a better direction. The method used in the manufacture of miniature outrigger fishing boat fiber glass in the form of a lecture following the discussion/question and answer and applicative training with the involvement of partner group of fishermen. Plan activities that will be done in the implementation of manufacturing miniature hull fishing boat outrigger fiber glass that provides counseling by introducing wood and fiber glass as well as equipment to be used for the manufacture of hull miniature fishing boats outrigger fiber glass, the composition of the fiber glass to see the standardization of the mixture and training manufacture of molded semi parmanen which continued with casting hull miniature outrigger fishing boats.

Because of that, we will tells to the reader that transformation of the fighter performance in different generation have advantages and disadvantages in the performances. Abstract

Welding is the process of joining two metals to the point of metal recrystallization using either added or not material and using heat energy as a melting agent. In this study, different cooling variations on each specimen were carried out, the material used was ASTM A36 Plate, 3.2 mm diameter E7018 electrode, cooling used with Oil and Air. in the implementation of welding using the SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) welding method. From the above understanding, research and testing are carried out including tensile tests, radiography / x-rays, and penetrants. The purpose of this study was to determine the strength and quality of welded joints that were not seen with the Destructive Test on the ASTM A36 plate and also to determine the effect of variations in oil and air cooling. From this study it can be found that the tensile strength values for specimen 1 (Oil ) is 373.06 MPa. While the value of tensile strength for specimen 2 (Air) is 365.31 MPa, this means that it has decreased by 7.75 MPa from the tensile strength of specimen 1 (Oil).

Abstract

Cleanroom in the pharmaceutical industry is needed to eliminate a wide range of contamination, due to the room around the building materials, machinery equipment production, human and others generate millions of particles that can interfere with the quality of manufactured drugs. Cleanroom in the pharmaceutical industry is based on the ISO 14644-1 standard that is in a class of E (100.000), which can be interpreted very clean conditioned room to awake from particles and microbial contamination. The number of particles in the E (100.000) class at the size of 0,5 µm limited number of 3520000 particles/m3 were obtained from the results of the design of 446771,3769 particles/m3, for a particle size of 5 µm particle number 29000 particles/m3 is obtained by 47760,7813 partikel /m3. Raw material weighing room temperature in the desain room 21 ºC and 40% RH, and the outside temperature is 32,72 ºC and 72,77% RH. The results obtained design cooling load is 17329,077 Watt, with velocity distribution of air in the airway of 0,118 m/s in air requirement of 99,615 l/s, so that the requirements for class E (100.000) according to ISO 14644-1 to the mixed flow of air velocity.

Abstract

Diesel engine as the prime mover or as an auxiliary motor is still very dominant use on the ship. Diesel engines can operate with the same four-stroke cycle gasoline engine with: intake, compression, combustion and exhaust. One advantage of the diesel engine is the fuel consumption is better than gasoline engines due to lower pumping loss and high compression ratio. Conversely, there are drawbacks, such as vibration and noise during operation and large this state will increase along with the deterioration of the quality of lubricants. To detect thecondition of lubricants can be done by measuring the viscosity and total base number (TBN) .. Nevertheless, every machine has different characteristics from each other, so as to know the condition of engine lubricant is casuistry anyway. In this case, replacement of engine lubricant boat with linearity approach is on a machine that has a high reliability aimed at determining the condition of engine lubricant according to the hours of operation.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi sekarang ini telah menghasilkan berbagai kreasi dalam segala hal yang bertujuan memudahkan segala aktifitas manusia. Ada berbagai sarana transportasi tersedia, mulai dari darat, udara, dan laut. Kendaraan yang diproduksi massal di negara kita umumnya kendaraan darat, salah satunya adalah kendaraan roda empat yaitu mobil.Connecting rod merupakan komponen mesin yang berperan untuk mengubah gerakan resiprok (maju mundur/turun naik) piston menjadi gerakan berputar (rotary) pada poros engkol. Dalam tugas akhir ini, menganalisa distribusi tegangan connecting rodpada mobil dengan menggunakan metode elemen hingga.Connecting rod yang dianalisa adalah connecting rodmobil dengan 1500 CC. Adapun material dari connecting rod ini ialah AISI 1045 cold drawn dengan kekuatan luluh (σy) sebesar530 N/mm2.Tujuan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk menganalisa tegangan yang terjadi pada connecting rod setelah dipengaruhi oleh tekanan statis. Setelah itu mencari nilai tegangan Von Mises yaitu tegangan maksimun dan tegangan minimum untuk mengetahui connecting rod ini dalam keadaan aman atau tidak dengan bantuan dari software Solidworks 2014. Setelah dilakukan analisa didapat bahwa tegangan Von Mises maksimum yang terjadi yaitu sebesar 39,74332 N/mm2 dan tegangan Von Misesminimum yang terjadi yaitu sebesar 0,00169 N/mm2. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dilihat nilai tegangan Von Mises berada di bawah batas izin tegangan yield material baja AISI 1045 sehingga connecting rod ini dapat dikatakan dalam keadaan aman.

Abstract

The government is still struggling to secure all the waters of the archipelago in maintaining and overseeing the security of its territory. This is due to the many islands that need human resources (HR) and require a lot of high-tech ships. So it is necessary to design a robot ElectricRemote Control Waterjet Patrol 80 (ERC_WP 80) which could serve as patrol boats and destroyers. Waterjet propulsion drive system has a motion if the vessel was excellent at relatively high speed boats and has good acceleration capabilities. Boats with jet propulsion system can operate in very shallow waters. This is due to all parts of the engine located under the hull, including propeller, shaft and shaft house. Waterjet advantages compared with the steering system / rudder is conventional waterjet propulsion system is able to turn the steering wheel with a smaller angle. Maneuverability and good seakeeping of a ship is strongly influenced by the shape of the hull. Selection of the hull shape is designed to perform parametric studies hull of the vessel Fast Patrol Boats comparator (KPC) 14 1 228 m and the vessel JS Patrol. On the back of the boat is made with a slope angle (chine angle) of about 20 degrees in order to gain the necessary lifting force without reducing the stability of the ship. While at the front end of the ship made a slope angle of about 30 degrees with the intent facilitate ship moving at high speed and reduce the impact when the waves break.
