Abstract

The research aims at finding out whether or not the PACA and VIP strategies can enhance reading comprehension at the second-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Nosu. This research used pre-experimental method. The second-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Nosu in 2018/2019 academic year were the research pupaltions. The sample was 20 students. It used purposive sampling in one class. It is found that there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test of the students’ achievement in reading comprehension. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of combination PACA and VIP strategies in English language teaching can enhance the students’ reading comprehension.

Abstract

The research is descriptive quantitative-qualitative approach. Quantitative approach used in analyzing how the relationship between problem-solving skills with students' understanding of the concept. While the qualitative approach used in describing how the problem-solving skills class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Binamu Jeneponto in relation to understanding the concept in terms of learning styles. This study, data were collected through the initial observation, the provision of learning styles questionnaire, test understanding of concepts, and problem-solving ability tests and structured interviews. Data were analyzed using Chi Square analyze the association between mathematical problem solving skills with an understanding of the concept in terms of students' learning styles. The results showed that there is an association between the ability of solving math problems with understanding the concept of student stylish visual learning the value of χ2 count = 21,000 and significance (Asymp. Sig. (2-sided)) = 0.000 and there is an association between the ability of solving mathematical problems with the understanding of the concept auditory learning style student with χ2 value and significance count = 17.967 (Asymp. Sig. (2-sided)) = 0.000. Students with visual and auditory learning style can solve the problems SPLDV given by the troubleshooting steps Polya because it may be posisible students have an understanding of the SPLDV.

Abstract

Facing the challenges of globalization in the field of education, the presence of information and communication technology has a significant influence on learning activities. The main challenge, including even the most sophisticated education system, lies in the capacity of educators to use ICT effectively in educational activities. The contribution of ICTs in building new relationships between higher education and the community, to bridge the education gap, policy makers are required to prepare strategies to produce knowledge-based skills and capacities. This type of research is qualitative. The data source consists of primary data and secondary data. Research informants are users or users of E-learning. Data collection techniques in the form of literature review of books, journals, reports on the use of information and communication technology in the education field from updated sources and observed case observations. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study found that the benefits of ICT for education functioned as a tool for lifelong learning; bring changes in the role of educators in teaching and the role of learners in learning; provide open access to material and interactive information through the network; eliminate time and space constraints in the learning environment; support learning and education organizations and management; and open opportunities for collaboration. Integration of ICT in e-learning into a process of internalizing values ​​in ICT learning can be transformed, so that by integrating education in e-learning as teaching material, habituation, assignment, and exemplary become integral, holistic parts, which are continually being studied, understood, practiced in everyday life. The contribution of ICT in e-learning to the success of the world of education is a strategy of implementation and professional development in the field of ICT must refer to learning and teaching activities

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Guidance and Counseling Services with Class XI Mental Health of Duapitue 1 High School in Sidenreng Rappang District. This study uses a pre-experimental method. The population of this study is the XI grade 1 SMA 1 Sidrap academic year 2018/2019. The sample is 20 students. Sampling uses purposive sampling in one class. It was found that there was a significant relationship between pre-test and post-test of student achievement in counseling services. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between counseling services and mental health of Grade IX students of SMAN1 Sidrap.

Abstract

Abstract This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve poetry writing skills for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Alla through clustering techniques. The subjects of this study were class VIII of State Junior High School 3 Alla who were enrolled in the 2011/2012 school year with 34 subjects. This research was conducted in 2 (two) cycles and each cycle was carried out in four meetings including the final test for each cycle. Data on student learning outcomes were analyzed by using quantitative analysis and data on student activities were analyzed by using qualitative analysis. The results of the study after the implementation of the action for two cycles, namely: (a) Increased poetry writing skills of students of class VIII.1 SMP Negeri 3 Alla after clustering techniques were applied in which in the first cycle obtained an average score of 58.82% in the medium category but have not yet achieved the minimum completeness criteria for writing poetry that is determined and experienced an increase in the second cycle of 73.23% in the high category and has achieved the minimum specified completeness criteria. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the clustering technique can improve poetry writing skills of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Alla, Enrekang Regency. Abstract

Vocational High School (VHS) is the initial level of vocational education whose task is to prepare students to become skilled labor in the industrial field. At this time there have been many changes, related to the era of industrial revolution 4.0, and the demands of life in the 21st century. Therefore it is necessary to increase the competence of vocational students in order to respond to these changes, both related to the era of industrial revolution 4.0, and demands for skills 4C to be able to live in existence in the 21st century. How far has the implementation of Vocational Schools been able to respond to these changes and demands? To answer this question, a research is needed entitled "Readiness of Vocational students in order to face the industrial revolution 4.0 and the demands of 21st century skills". Through literature studies, it was found that it was needed: (1) the use of learning models such as Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PjBL), Cooperative Learning and the like, in order to foster 4C skills capabilities for vocational students; (2) the use of learning media such as e-larning, Flipped classroom and podcasts; (3) IoT utilization, digital literacy, and utilization of e-books that are cheap, practical, environmentally friendly, and up to date, (2) improving teacher quality related to the demands of 21st century skills.

Abstract

Abstrak; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana sudah memenuhi standar dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran penjas. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh subjek penelitian yaitu sarana dan prasarana olahraga SMA Negeri 3 Makassar.Dari 6 Prasarana, sudah tersedia 4 prasarana atau 100% tergolong sangat baik, dan 2 prasarana atau 0% tergolong kurang sekali. Karena di SMA Negeri 3 Makassar tidak terdapat lapangan bulutangkis dan aula senam. Dari 19 sarana olahraga, 11 sarana atau 100%, 3 sarana atau 83.3% dan 1 sarana 85.7% yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali. 1 sarana atau 66.6% masuk dalam kategori baik, 1 sarana atau 50% tergolong sedang, 1 sarana atau 33.3% termasuk dalam kategori kurang, dan 1 sarana atau 0% termasuk dalam kategori kurang sekali.Sesuai hasil penelitian ini, disarankan: (1) Sebagai Guru penjas dalam proses belajar mengajar harus lebih kreatif dalam memberdayakan sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki sekolah dengan segala keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana olahraga. (2) Guru yang bertugas pada bagian sarana dan prasarana olahraga hendaknya bisa mengawasi dengan baik sarana dan prasarana yang standar agar baik diberikan dalam menunjang prestasi olahraga sekolah sehingga menumbuhkan atau mengembangkan minat belajar bagi siswa-siswi pada saat proses belajar mengajar di laksanakan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan teknik permainan melengkapi cerita dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II SD Inpres Bangkala II Kota Makassar.Hasil observasi yang dilakukan di SD Inpres Bangkala II kota Makassar ditemukan permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah penerapan teknik permainan melengkapi cerita dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II SD Inpres Bangkala II kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Inpres Bangkala II kota Makassar sebanyak 20 orang. Proses penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dengan proses tindakan (a) Perencanaan, (b) Pelaksanaan, (c) Observasi, (d) Refleksi dengan menggunakan teknik permainan melengkapi cerita.Kesimpulan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknik permainan melengkapi cerita untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas II SD Inpres Bangkala II kota Makassar dilihat dari hasil tes yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dimana menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik dengan ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I mencapai 62,25% dan siklus II mencapai 82,75%.

Abstract

Hasil belajar IPS melalui model PBL pada siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Borong Jambu II Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas bersiklus terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus diberi perlakuan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan, dengan subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 34 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar 67,2 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal hanya 50% berada pada kategori kurang. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa 75,9 dan ketuntasan secara klasikal mencapai 88,2% berada pada kategori baik. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan model PBL. Hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Borong Jambu II Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa yang menggunakan model Two Stay Two Stray dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dan apakah hasil belajar siswa yang menggunkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two stray lebih tinggi dari pada model pembelajaran langsung . Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen Semu. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 9 Satap Lk.Kalmas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Langsung. Dari hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh hasil bahwa kelompok yang diberi model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dikategorikan tinggi dengan rat-rata nilai 72,44 dengan standar deviasi 12,627 dan kelompok yang diberi model pembelajaran langsung berada dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 61,71 dengan standar deviasi 8,305 sedangkan hasil analisis imperensial diperoleh thitung sebesar 2,954 kemudian dibandingkan ttabel pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dk = 33 diperoleh ttabel = 1,694 karena thitung > ttabel atau 2,954 > 1,694 sehingga H1 terima, artinya hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Lebih tinggi dibanding hasil belalajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung.
