Abstract

Opera Van Java (OVJ) Television program on Trans7 earns a high rating and share in a relatively short time. This is a new phenomenon in the category of comedy that shows a television program in Indonesia can be successful. This event received much praise, so the OVJ included a comedy that received great public attention. The silly story presented by OVJ is very funny and appealing to all walks of life.Trans7's communications management on this television comedy program has demonstrated professional work in managing comedy programs. This is done by building the synergy / performance of all the crew, communicating creative ideas and ideas, equating perceptions, packing messages and impressions. This process creates an OVJ program that appeals to the audience and can convey messages to all walks of life and age.The Trans7 OVJ program got the highest rating and share of the comedy version according to AGB Nielsen measurement by Audiences Meansurement version. This assessment is very influential, because the OVJ program is a phenomenal comedy that will increase advertising revenue as a source of income Trans7 television stations.Creativity in communication management Opera Van Java (OVJ) is packaged in such a way that it is always interesting to watch on every episode. Researchers found and saw great creativity in the OVJ program. The conclusion is that good communication management in managing television comedy programs is essential to improve the rating and share of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to identify market climate and customer preferences of people around Shah Alam, Malaysia towards franchisor of Islamic kindergarten. The research method used is quantitative approach and questionnaires are distributed to 40 parents around Shah Alam who have children and putting their children to have pre-education among 3 Islamic kindergarten brand.  The result of this study explained that most consumers engage their children to pre institutions the school grounds to increase the ability and social interaction.  The main consideration consumers in choosing pre -school education are the type of program services offered and teacher skills and knowledge. While biggest decision maker was the husband.  Price sensitivity is low with costs incurred for pre-school activities people feel suitable is more than RM 200 per month. Lastly, if consumers are not satisfied then the action taken is complain directly to the pre-school and directly stop using the service.

Abstract

This case study is a performance measurement system on BNI with PMS (performance measuring system) method is a Balance Scorecard based. Since 2006, BNI's performance measurement system uses only 2 perspectives, namely financial and operational, so it has not presented the comprehensive and integrative performance of the organization. However, starting in 2011, BNI performs Balance Scorecard based performance process using 6 (six) perspectives namely: financial, growth, risk, customer, employee and process. Performance measurement is conducted at 6 (six) level of organization that is: BNI wide, sectoral, division, region, branch and center while for office service and cash office level measurements are still in developmen process. With the development of six perspectives and measurement of all levels, it is expected that BNI performance measurement becomes more objective and linkage. BNI wide performance measurement results at the end of each year with a balanced scorecard approach is expected to be a strategic planning of the bank in determining the performance improvement of the current year so that the scorecard can be maximized.

Abstract

In many countries, especially in developing countries, there are many social problems that need to be resolved. The high level of poverty and unemployment, the lack of available health facilities, or the low quality of existing education, is an acute problem that becomes a tough domestic work for a developing country's government. Given the current global conditions, where free competition is inevitable, it certainly adds to the long list of strategies that the government must take to tackle various social problems. The government can not struggle and work alone in dealing with the complexity of the existing problems, it is certainly necessary for the active role of all elements of the society so that the problems that whack, can unravel and be solved. One step that can be taken by the government in order to empower and protect the people in the era of free competition is to support, develop, and multiply the existence of social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship has the potential to provide some social solutions that affect a country.This paper shows the concept of social entrepreneurship as historical background, characteristics, challenges faced and business model of social entrepreneurship in order to overcome various social problems that can have a positive impact on economic development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the attitude toward the behavior (ATB) of using the tray set green product to the intention of using the tray-set green product, to analyze the relationship between the subjective norms (SN) to the intention of using the tray-set green product, to analyze the relationship between the perceived behavioral control (PBC) to the intention of using the tray-set green product, to analyze the consumers’ attitudes toward the preferences of the desired attributes of the tray-set green product and to formulate the managerial implications which can be applied by PT Garuda Indonesia.  The data collection was conducted in July – August 2012. Data was collected from 200 respondents who had used the services of PT Garuda Indonesia. Descriptive, Konjoint, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between ATB, SN and PBC to the interest of using tray-set green product. The result of the study indicated that the attitude Toward Behavior, Subjective norms, perceive behavioral control had significant value to the interest. The attributive preferences desired from the tray-set green product are stronger materials, eco-friendly packaging and interesting shapes. The result of this study recommended that to improve the marketing mix strategies to enhance the passengers’ interest in using tray-set green product.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how much influence internal control, leadership to employee performance level. Sampling method used is Proportionate Random Sampling. The sample in this study followed the formula Slovin, or as many as 70 employees Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta. The data that have fulfilled the validity and reliability test are then processed to produce the regression equation Y = -12.882 + 0.852 X1 + 0.352 X2, where Y is the employee performance variable, X1 is the internal control variable and X2 is the leadership variable.The result of the research also shows that internal control influence to employee performance, leadership influence to employee performance, internal control and leadership have influence to employee performance. The relationship of internal supervision and leadership to employee performance is very strong and internal captive variables and leadership can explain employee's performance of 72.9%, while the rest of 27,1% is explained by other variables.

Abstract

Small and Medium Industry entrepreneurs need to make an understanding of the external environment. Dynamic changes and competition in an industry can find opportunities tailored to the company's capabilities. In addition, external environmental analysis can help entrepreneurs determine the needs and wants of the market. Instead internal environmental analysis shows what the company should do. The purpose of this research is to analyze and know the influence of external environment and internal to competitive advantage.The research method used is survey method, that is descriptive and explanatory survey. The number of respondents in this study were 140 Small and Medium Industry entrepreneurs in Bandung, West Java.Based on the results of research indicate that the external environment and internal environment have an effect on the competitiveness of Small and Medium Industry simultaneously
