Abstract

In many countries, especially in developing countries, there are many social problems that need to be resolved. The high level of poverty and unemployment, the lack of available health facilities, or the low quality of existing education, is an acute problem that becomes a tough domestic work for a developing country's government. Given the current global conditions, where free competition is inevitable, it certainly adds to the long list of strategies that the government must take to tackle various social problems. The government can not struggle and work alone in dealing with the complexity of the existing problems, it is certainly necessary for the active role of all elements of the society so that the problems that whack, can unravel and be solved. One step that can be taken by the government in order to empower and protect the people in the era of free competition is to support, develop, and multiply the existence of social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship has the potential to provide some social solutions that affect a country.This paper shows the concept of social entrepreneurship as historical background, characteristics, challenges faced and business model of social entrepreneurship in order to overcome various social problems that can have a positive impact on economic development.

Abstract

Konflik adalah ketidaksesuaian antara dua atau lebih anggota-anggota atau kelompok (dalam suatu organisasi atau perusahaan) yang harus membagi sumber daya yang terbatas atau kegiatan-kegiatan kerja dan atau karena kenyataan bahwa mereka mempunyai perbedaan status, tujuan, nilai, atau persepsi. Konflik dapat terjadi dimanapun termasuk dalam sebuah perusahaan, konflik terjadi karena masing-masing pihak atau salah satu pihak merasa dirugikan. Konflik dapat berakibat negatif tetapi dapat pula berakibat positif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah perusahaan yaitu di PT YKT Gear Indonesia, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauhmana konflik dapat berpengaruh terhadap karyawan PT YKT Gear Indonesia, apakah pengaruh konflik dapat menurunkan kinerja karyawan PT YKT Gear Indonesia atau dapat menaikkan kinerja karyawan PT YKT Gear Indonesia. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat di simpulkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi sederhana, konflik memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan yaitu sebesar 0,344. Artinya kenaikan satu poin pada Konflik, maka akan mengakibatkan naiknya Kinerja Karyawan pada PT YKT Gear Indonesia sebesar 0,344 dan sebaliknya, jika terjadi penurunan satu poin pada Konflik, maka akan diikuti pula oleh penurunan Kinerja Karyawan sebesar 0,344 pada PT YKT Gear Indonesia. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi sederhana pengaruh konflik terhadap kinerja adalah positif sedang karena nilai r yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,434. Berdasarkan koefisien determinasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa konflik memiliki kontribusi sebesar 18,81% terhadap kinerja karyawan PT YKT Gear Indonesia, sisanya sebesar 81,91% dipengaruhi oleh factor lain

Abstract

Abstract Conflict is a mismatch between two or more members or groups (in an organization or company) that must share limited resources or work activities and/or because of the fact that they have different status, goals, values, or perceptions. Conflicts can occur anywhere, including in a company, conflict occurs because each party or one party feels disadvantaged. Conflicts can have negative consequences but can also have positive consequences. This research was conducted in a company, namely in PT YKT Gear Indonesia, the purpose of this study was to determine the extent of conflict can affect PT YKT Gear Indonesia's employees, whether the influence of conflict can reduce the performance of PT YKT Gear Indonesia's employees or can improve PT YKT Gear employee performance Indonesia. From the results of this study it can be concluded that based on the results of a simple regression analysis, conflict has a positive influence on employee performance that is equal to 0.344. This means that a one-point increase in Conflict will result in an increase in Employee Performance at PT YKT Gear Indonesia of 0.344 and vice versa, if there is a one-point decrease in Conflict, it will be followed by a decrease in Employee Performance of 0.344 at PT YKT Gear Indonesia. While based on the results of a simple correlation analysis the effect of conflict on performance is moderate positive because the resulting r value is 0.434. Based on the coefficient of determination it can be concluded that conflict has a contribution of 18.81% to the performance of PT YKT Gear Indonesia employees, the remaining 81.91% is influenced by other factors. Abstract

Employee performance is very important for the achievement of the goals of a company. One important factor that can affect performance in a company is from providing compensation given to employees. Compensation is something that is received by employees as a substitute for their service contribution to the company. The existence of a good compensation system will ensure the occurrence of justice between employees and the company. Each employee will receive a reward in accordance with the goals, functions, positions, and work performance Compensation problems are a sensitive problem because they are driving people to work hard. Besides that compensation also affects morale and labor discipline. Therefore, any company / organization should be able to provide compensation that is balanced with the workload borne by the workforce. This research was conducted at PT. Indonesian Sango. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of employees at PT. Indonesian Sango. PT. Sango Indonesia is a company engaged in the Automotive Part that produces Secondary Steel and Exhaust Manifold. Shareholders in PT. Sango Indonesia is divided into Sango Group, Toyota Thuso, Sumitomo Corporation, sumitomo corporation Indonesia and shinsho corporation. Meanwhile, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on the performance of employees at PT. Indonesian Sango. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that Compensation has a contribution of influence of 50.83% on the performance of employees of PT. Indonesian Sango. While the remaining 49.17% is influenced by other factors. Abstract

Abstract Compensation is a complicated and classic problem that has plagued the industrial world. As is known that the provision of appropriate compensation which given by the company, is one of the main factors that influence the improvement of employee performance. In Indonesia, the issue of providing compensation has been regulated in the labor law. The government in this case the Ministry of Manpower always emphasizes to all companies operating in Indonesia, in order to obey and implement all provisions regulated by law. This research was conducted at a company located in Bekasi, precisely in Jababeka - Cikarang, which is at PT. Jaeil Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which compensation can increase employee performance, especially in the Production Department of PT. Jaeil Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research, in which the objects in this study amounted to 40 employees of the Production Department of PT. Jaeil Indonesia. The analytical method used is a simple linear regression method. Meanwhile, data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 24. The results of this study indicate that the value of R² is 0.486, meaning the percentage of the effect of compensation for employee performance is 48.6% while the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the t test show that the value of t count is greater than the value of t table (5.146> 2.048). This shows that the hypothesis used in this study is accepted, that is there is an effect of giving compensation to the performance of employees in the Production Department of PT. Jaeil Indonesia, so companies need to pay attention to employees by adjusting the compensation with the workload they bear according to the prevailing laws and regulations. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of training on the competence of Indonesian workers in PT Amanah Putra Pratama. The study was conducted at PT Amanah Putra Pratama by using a research sample of 38 Indonesian workers counted in July 2018 because at that time research was being carried out, while every month the number of Indonesian workers in PT.Amanah Putra Pratama was uncertain. Data collection was carried out by distributing research instruments, namely questionnaires containing questions to measure training and competence. The collected data is then processed using simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 16.0 software. Research also shows that there is a positive and significant influence given by training that has a strong influence in influencing the creation of better competencies in PT Amanah Putra Pratama optimally, the R value (correlation) produced is 0.514, it can be said that training and competence positively related by 51.4%. While the coefficient of determination R2 (R Square) is 0.265, which means that the ability of the training variable to influence competence in PT Amanah Putra Pratama is 26.5%, while 73.5% is the contribution of other factors not observed in this study. Abstract

Di banyak negara, terutama pada negara berkembang, banyak masalah sosial yang perluuntuk diselesaikan. Tingkat kemiskinan dan pengangguran yang relatif tinggi, minimnyafasilitas kesehatan yang tersedia, atau rendahnya kualitas pendidikan, merupakan masalahakut yang menjadi pekerjaan rumah yang berat bagi pemerintah suatu negara berkembang.Dengan kondisi global saat ini, dimana persaingan bebas sudah tidak dapat dielakkan lagi,tentu hal tersebut menambah daftar panjang strategi yang harus dilakukan oleh pemerintahuntuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan sosial yang terjadi. Pemerintah tidak dapat berjuangdan bekerja sendiri dalam menangani kekompleksitasan masalah yang ada, tentunyadiperlukan peran aktif dari seluruh elemen masyarakat agar permasalahan-permasalahanyang mendera, dapat terurai dan tersolusikan. Salah satu langkah yang dapat ditempuh olehpemerintah dalam rangka memberdayakan sekaligus melindungi masyarakat di erapersaingan bebas adalah dengan mendukung, mengembangkan, dan memperbanyakkeberadaan social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship memiliki potensi untukmemberikan beberapa solusi sosial yang menimpa suatu negara. Tulisan ini mencoba untukmemberikan tinjauan literatur dari konsep social entrepreneurship seperti latar belakangsejarah, karakteristik, tantangan yang dihadapi dan model bisnis apa yang efektif bagi socialentrepreneurship dalam rangka mengatasi berbagai permasalahan sosial yang dapatmemberikan dampak positif terhadap pembangunan ekonomi.

Abstract

In the midst of competitive conditions in the industrial world which is full of uncertainty, competitors that continue to emerge, and the intensity of change is so high, it forces the company to always continue to make improvements and innovations, in order to remain relevant to changes that are constantly happening. One of the ways that organizations can take, in order to be able to make continuous improvements, as well as spawn breakthroughs that are liked by consumers, is to increase the competence of their employees, so that they are motivated to perform better, in order to achieve organizational goals. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of competence and motivation on employee performance in the production department of PT. Prakarsa Alam Segar. The research method used is associative quantitative research method, where the data collection method is carried out by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study were all employees of the production department of PT. Prakarsa Alam Segar totaling 61 people. Sampling was done by saturated sampling method. Data processing using SPSS version 26 software, with descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) partially the competence variable had a positive and insignificant 6% influence on the performance of the employees of the production department of PT. Prakarsa Alam Segar; (2) partially the motivation variable has a positive and significant 53.52% influence on the performance of the employees of the production department of PT. Prakarsa Alam Segar; (3) Simultaneously there is a positive and significant effect between the competence and motivation variables of 59.3% on the performance of the employees of the PT. Prakarsa Alam Segar.

Abstract

Job rotation is another way renew employee motivation. However, job rotation does not always go smoothly. It is possible that the job rotation plan that has been programmed by the company, causes protests from employees who feel that they are already established in their current position. Therefore, such a policy must be based on accurate data and information on individual performance. Another thing, it is important to consider that job rotation should be based on the competence of the employee concerned. They must be prepared in advance at least in the form of orientation at the new job site. It is so important to build a manager's competence, because a bad (incompetent) manager can have a bad impact on the company, and can even bring down the company. Therefore, companies need to pay attention to improving the quality of managers, in order to obtain appropriate competencies as expected by the company. Where one of the ways to develop and improve the competence of managers, is through job rotation. This study aims to analyze the effect of managerial competencies on job rotation at PT Pos Indonesia Regional IV Jakarta. The results showed that the managerial competencies variable had a significant positive effect on job rotation (p = 0.006). The fit model with existing data is based on the Goodness-of Fit Index criteria with the results of the Chi Square evaluation of 1100.906, with a significance level of 0.056 and the value of RMSEA (0.021), GFI (0.783), AGFI (0.762), CMIN / df (1.071), TLI (0.983) and CFI (0.984). Keywords: Managerial Competencies, Job Rotation

Abstract

Along with the Industrial Revolution, and now even entering the 5.0 Industrial Revolution, of course high creativity and innovation are required from each business entity. Organizations can no longer run a business as usual, every time and every time they are required to make various kinds of breakthroughs, so that they can remain relevant / survive the changes that occur. Likewise with what happened in the field of courier services, the industry in which PT. Pos Indonesia, whose conditions are currently getting tighter and fiercer. For this reason, a manager who has high work experience is needed in order to help the company win the existing competition. One way to get managers who have high work experience is to attract individuals who have good managerial talent to join the company. Managers who have good managerial skills tend to have high work experience, because these employees will always be prioritized when there is an empty position, or when there is a promotion in a department. This study aims to analyze the direct effect of managerial talented on work experience. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by providing a list of questions to the respondent. The procedure used in testing, data processing and model development is structural equation modeling. Data were analyzed using AMOS statistical software tools. This method is used to facilitate the discovery of the effect (causal) of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. This research was conducted without any treatment from the researcher. The population in this study were all post office managers at PT. Pos Indonesia -Regional IV Jakarta, totaling 160 people. The results of this study prove that there is a positive direct effect of managerial talented on work experience.Keywords: Managerial Talented, Work Experience, Post Office.
