Abstract

AbstractThis paper discusses the application of the SIKD archive application in transferring the nagari archive media in the Wali Nagari Pitalah Office, Batipuh District, Tanah Datar Regency. This paper aims to describe (1) the application of archive applications in transferring Nagari archive media, (2) constraints obstacles faced in the application of archive applications in transferring Nagari archives, (3) efforts to deal with obstacles in the application of archive applications in transferring the nagari archive media. Data was collected through direct observation and interviews with staff at the Wali Nagari Pitalah Office, Batipuh District, Tanah Datar District. Analyzing data is done descriptively. Based on the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded as follows.  The application of the SIKD archive application in transferring the nagari archive media in the Wali Nagari Pitalah Office of Batipuh Subdistrict Tanah Datar District is by installing and setting up the SIKD application, grouping the Archives Before entering the SIKD Archive Application, scanning the Archives owned by the Guardian's Office Nagari Pitalah, Batipuh Subdistrict, Tanah Datar District, and entered the Archives into the SIKD Archive Application.Keyword : archive

Abstract

Structuring Systems  Archive Dynamic Field In Sub-Section Determination General Crime In Court Payakumbuh. Program of Library and Information Science Studies Archives, Department of Language and Literature Indonesia and the Region, the Faculty of Languages ​​and Arts, State University of Padang. The problem of this paper is how to setup the system records and constraints faced in the structuring and implementation of archival records at the District Court Payakumbuh. The purpose of writing this paper aims to describe the arrangement of the system records the Subdivision Determination District Court Foreign Affairs Criminal Payakumbuh. The method used for writing this paper uses descriptive method is to describe on an object as it is at any given time. The data obtained through the survey directly to the arrangement of records at the District Court Payakumbuh. For that obtain accurate data conducted interviews directly. Abstract

The purposes of writing of this paper are (1) to know students perception about the library in SMP Negeri 16 Padang that is observed from the collection aspect; (2) to know students perception about the library in SMP Negeri 16 Padang that is observed from librarians aspect; (3) to know students perception about the library in SMP Negeri 16 Padang that is observed from the lay out. The form of research is descriptive quantitative. The technique of data collection is done by using questionnaire and interview. The subjects of this researc are 7th grade student, 8th grade student, and also the librarian in SMP Negeri 16 Padang. Based on the research, can be concluded: (1) the perception of the student about the library of SMP Negeri 16 Padang that is observed from collection side, most of students (53%) stated that the book collection in SMP Negeri 16 Padang is appropriate with the learning needs; (2) from the librarians aspect, most of student (61%) stated that the librarian of SMP Negeri 16 Padang is friendly; (3) from the lay out aspect, half of students number are disagree about the arrangement of book racks, tables and chairs in the library of SMP Negeri 16 Padang due to the library is so crowded and it makes the students do not comfortable to visit the library. Abstract

This paper aims to archive inactive Management has not been implemented. Inactive records management at the Faculty of economics using Adobe Dreamweaver. Activity in the management of inactive records in the Faculty of Economics, starting from the scan archived data, data entry and editing data. Scan archive data is transferring the activities of the contents of a document into digital form. Archive scanner tool called a scanner. Entries archive data is input data to the application Adobe Dreamweaver. Input archives until edit archive data if found errors in data entry.The method used in this paper research is descriptive method by observation or direct observation to the field, data collection, interviews at the Faculty of Economics Padang State University. Data analysis was done descriptively. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded still encountered obstacles in the management of inactive records so that the implementation is not optimal. The obstacle is the lack of human resources in terms of personnel management of inactive records are limited and less knowledge will be archived. Inactive records management using Adobe Dreamweaver application aims for archive retrieval can be easily and besides it can also be to duplicate the archive. One of the benefits of using the application to manage the archive inactive, in the event of natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes, then the duplicate is still there.Keywords: Applications, Adobe Dreamweaver, Archive inactive

Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the process of index indexing by annotating thesis of the management in the AKBP-STIE "KBP" Padang library. The purpose of this research is to present or describe how the process of indexing is done by annotating the thesis of the management in the AKBP-STIE "KBP" Padang library. The method used is descriptive method which is described as is. Data was collected by direct observation and asked several questions to librarians in the AKBP-STIE "KBP" library in Padang. The process of making an annotated index is (a) the collection and grouping of management theses in accordance with each management thesis year, after the collection is done, the number of management theses from 2011-2017 is 258 copies; (b) create a management thesis description consisting of the author's name, thesis title, and thesis year; (c) the creation of an management thesis annotation that aims to provide a brief overview of the contents of the management thesis; (d) determination of keywords that aim to simplify and accelerate the retrieval of management theses; (e) Preparation and Media Index of Management Thesis, the media provisions of this annotated index linking are in the form of a book with systematic preparation based on the author's thesis name; (f) Typing an Annotated Index, with the provisions of the arrangement starting from the index, annotations, keywords, and shelf locations as well as the thesis code that has been given by the librarian.Keyword:  index with annotation, management scription.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the management of library materials weeding activity  at library of Padang State University. The purpose of this paper are (1) to describe the procedure in weeding activities attheLibrary of Padang State University and (2) to describe any obstacles encountered in the process of weeding at the Library of the State University of Padang. The type of this research isqualitative research through observation and interview.The resultsof the research aresummarized as follow.First, the process of weeding activity management atthe Library of Padang State University has not been effective yet, this activity is still limited to the separation of collection / library materials. Second, obstacles faced in weeding activity management atthe Library of Padang State University is the absence of a written policy in weeding activities management and the absence of follow-up after doing weeding activity. Abstract

The purpose of writing this article for description about. First, librarian perception about relevance of Minangkabau collection. Second, librarian perception about completeness of Minangkabau collection. Third, librarian perception about latest of Minangkabau collection in Documentation Centre and Culture Information Minangkabau Padang Panjang. The method used is descriptive. Based on analysis of the discussion can be concluded three things. First, librarian about relevance Minangkabau collection because collection that available can give compliance required information for librarian. Second, librarian perception about completeness of Minangkabau collection viewed from provided information just some needs are met, but for another librarian yet to meet the needs of the information. Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the process of making the prototype of the encyclopaedia of traditional ceremonies of Batak Toba. The data collected using descriptive research methods with data gathering technique through interviews to customary leaders according to the focus of the problems studied. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that the process of making the prototype of the encyclopedia of the ceremonies of Batak Toba as follows: (1) data gathering, that is technique to collect information about the ceremonies of Batak Toba, (2) design making in the form of chart in product to be made, and (3) the process of making the product in accordance with the work plan which contains the basic provisions of a topic that must be developed from the cover making  is the hard skin on the outside of the book containing the title of the book, and accompanied by several supporting images; the forewords contains the author acknowledgement, to those who have helped, the basis and purpose of making prototype of encyclopaedia, the hope, and the place, the month, and the year the book was made; the preliminary about the ceremonies in the Batak Toba’s ethnic; the main contents of the book contains articles on the ceremonies Batak Toba which includes the purpose, procession, place and time of the ceremonies, as well as data sources; an index is the list of words or terms in an alphabetical publication in the backyard; and informen biographies.Keywords: Batak Toba, prototype of encyclopedia, traditional ceremony.

Abstract

AbstractDisaster is an event or series of events that threatens and disrupts people's lives and livelihoods caused by natural factors and non-natural factors and human factors resulting in human casualties, environmental damage, property losses, and psychological impacts, a phenomenon of life humans who cannot be known exactly when it happened. In facing disaster preparedness in Indonesia, there is still a lack and lack of hate education so that there is a lack of public knowledge in post-disaster planning and their readiness to anticipate disasters. Therefore, repacking information is packing information back, or changing from one form of information, to a symbol that is interpreted as a message, recorded as a sign, or sent as a signal. Abstract

Problem in this paper is the problem of official correspondence to the staff of the Library Archives and Documentation Tanah Datar. The purpose of this paper to explain the first, official correspondence causes problems for the staff of the Library Archives and Documentation Tanah Datar and second, knowing the constraints and corresponding implementation efforts in the Office of Library Archives and DocumentationTanahDatar. Paper data collection techniques used are direct observation (observation) observations are used to determine the circumstances that occurred in the institution and interviews with the staff of the Library Archives and Documentation Tanah Datar used to determine employed work processes, as well as an interview with the head of the library section as well as some other staff to complete the data of scientific writing. Based on the analysis of factors can cause problems for employes correspondence Library Archives and Documentation Office of Tanah Datar is the importance of the correspondence to the individual as a means of communication, the organization as a means of employment and facilitate communication among employees and other agencies. Greatly impact the lack of training in an agency employee skills and discipline employees who make less than the employee's performance declined. The lack of wisdom of the leadership led to discipline difficult to apply to the employee. Constraints faced by the Office of Records and Documentation Tanah Datar in conducting correspondence are: first, the things that must be considered in the correspondence in the making of both the institution and outside the institution. Second,a common phenomenon in the world of correspondence. Third, knowledge is still lacking correspondence obtained by the employee due to lack of training and information. Fourth, the errors in correspondence practice is an employee who made a mistake letter to leaders and letters to other agencies.
