Jurnal Ilmu Informasi Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan is a journal of Library and Information Science published by the Information Science, Library and Archival Study Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Department, State University of Padang. AbstractWriting this paper aims to create a directory of locations for skateboarding in West Sumatra. The method used in this paper is descriptive research, which examines a group of people, an object, a condition, a thought, or a class of events in the present. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and literature study. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded as follows. First, the obstacles in making a skateboarding directory location in West Sumatra can be described as follows. (a) the writer has difficulty finding a clear place about the location of skateboarding. These constraints are due to the absence of a clear pointer or direction to a skateboarding location. (b) the distance from the downtown or downtown. These constraints are due to inadequate access to locations. The author must ask and explain to the surrounding community in detail in a location in order to get to the point where to skateboard. (c), the authors find it difficult to find the right sources for more detailed information on a skateboarding location. The existence of these obstacles is due to ignorance of the community and skateboarding community about the place. The author only gets some clear information when making observations. Second, the author's attempt to do so is as follows. (a) the author does his best to make clear road and road directions to a skateboarding location with the help of the surrounding community and the communities in the place. With the help of the community and community in making instructions at a predetermined point or better known by the community. (b) the author tries to minimize the distance to the location of skateboarding by asking the informant or the right informant at a skateboarding location. (c) the author tries his best to do interviews with several people to get clear and precise information about a skateboarding location. This study aimed to describe: (1) use of the library as a learning resource, (2) the constraints faced in the use of the library as a learning resource, and (3) what is being done Wira Lisna orphanage library in providing learning resources. Data were collected through observation and interviews in the Library Orphanage Lisna Wira. Data analysis was performed deskriptif.Dari result of the discussion was found as follows: First, the use of students in the library at the orphanage Padang Springs Wira Lisna not fully utilized. This is because the librarians are less oriented in building students' interest in reading, in terms of a collection of books owned by the poor students complete. Collection consisted only of old books, there is no renewal of the collection of its kind. This is a cause that underutilized library as a learning resource., As a protÃ©gÃ© of elementary, middle and high school lesson rather seek to internet sites that tend to bring the ill effects on the students. Second, constraints are: (1) the library is not professionally managed, so that visitors do not know the importance of the library as a learning resource for children, (2) the lack of reading materials in the library collection Panti AsuhanWira Lisna so visitors do not use the library because libraries are not material can meet the needs of visitors, (3) the efforts made in the use of the library are: (1) the holding of the renewal of the collections in the Library Orphanage Lisna Wira, (2) open and direct students learning Librarianship as a guideline, (3) improve facilities and infrastructure, and (4) expand and improve human resources in the Library Orphanage Lisna Wira. This paper discusses the making of statistical journal annotated index of financial economics at the Library of West Sumatra Indonesia Bank Office of West Sumatra Province. This paper aims to describe the manufacturing index statistics annotated journals of Financial Economics West Sumatra to make it easier to find back the information needed at any time. Data analysis used descriptive method. Data were collected through observation or direct research at the Library of Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Sumatra Province. From the analysis of data through observation and direct research, collected a total of 12 collections. Based on analyzing the data, it can be concluded that the measures in the manufacturing index annotated as follows: (a) the initial observation of the collection; (b) the selection of the collection will be indexed; (c) recording the description of the collection; (d) creation of annotations; (e) determine the keywords; (f) index creation; (g) the preparation of the index; (h) typing index.Â Keyword: Index, film, statistical, enonomics.

The purpose of this research is: (1) describe the utilization of warintek services (technology and Information Stalls) in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang Panjang; (2) obstacles faced in the utilization of the service warintek (technology and Information Stalls) in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang Panjang; (3) attempts to overcome the obstacle of utilization of services warintek (technology and Information Stalls) in the service of the library and Archives of the city of Padang Panjang. The method of research papers using quantitative methods is done through observation field and spread the now where every question related to research issues. Based on research, things can be summed up as follows: first, with the development of information and technology, the library provides services warintek (technology and information stalls) which required a librarian or pemustaka. To provide services and information technology, librarians can leverage technology in activities such as pengkatalogan, loaning, refund, inventory, and more. However, warintek (technology and information stalls) need to be improved in terms of infrastructure and information experts. Second, the obstacles faced in carrying out library services warintek (technology and information stalls) in the service of the library and archives of the city of padang panjang are: (1) has not been the presence of officers who are experts in the field of infrormasi; (2) lack of facilities and infrastructure, such as the unavailability of a special room service warintek (technology and information stalls), lack of computers, damage that often occurs on the computer. third, the efforts made in carrying out library services warintek (technology and information stalls) in the service of the library and archives of the city of padang panjang is: (1) the parties should provide experts on library services warintek; (2) provide a special room for visitors, increase the number of computers and the library are expected soon to fix some broken computers.Keyword: library, services, utilization, Warintek.

AbstractThe writing of this paper aims to discuss the stages of making a promotional video in the Â Library at SMPN 18 Padang. This study aims to describe the stages of making videos as a means of promoting the library SMPN 18 Padang. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Data was collected through observation and interviews with the Head of the Library and Librarian SMPN 18 Padang. And with the help of reading material related to video and library promotion.Â Based on analyzing the data it can be concluded that the steps in making a library promotion video are as follows: First, pre-production is the initial stage before the video production consists of idea discovery, synopsis, treatment, storyboarding, shotting script, production planning and production preparation. Second, production to realize all the steps in the pre-production stage. Third, post-production is the final stage in video production before the video is ready to be presented.Keywords: observation, making a library promotion video, interviewÂ Â

In this paper discuss about car rental directory in web based Padang city. This study aims to describe how the manufacture of car rental directory in Padang city based webmenggunakan PHP (Hyperlink Prepreccsor) based web aplication. This app is used as a tool to create car rental directory in web based Padang city. The method used is descriptive method with data collection technique through observation or direct observation to field, interview and literature study. From the observation and interviews conducted in the city of Padang then collected some data as a material to design a website that serves as a medium of information and promotion of car rental in the city of Padang. Based on the discussion of car rental information in the city of Padang, it can be concluded that the planning of this website is dynamic by using the application Framework codeIgnite (CI), which is a software designed specifically in the website design to install local website server as a liaison and support create a website using wamp server.Keyword: car rental directory web, Padang

The purpose of this paper to determine the attitude towards the service user at the library circulation Padang State University. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with users at the Library of the Padang State University. The study's finding share, first, the attitude towards the service user's circulation, which tends to be positive because the service is good and easy to do. Second, the attitude of users towards circulation librarian, which tend to be negative because the librarian was not friendly and the information is sometimes not clear. Third, the user attitude towards the collection in circulation services at the library, which is likely to be negativebecause of the number of collections that are not varied and irregular arrangement are difficult for users to find the required book. Fourth, the user attitude towards service rules circulation, which tends to be positive because these rules are not arbitrary student with leeway given library. Fifth, the user attitude towards the service time of circulation, which is likely to be negative because the clock does not match the needs of service users. Sixth, the user attitude towards a given facility library circulation services, which tend to be positive because the rooms were quite comfort and fast search tool and easy to use. Abstract The writing of this paper aims to describe how the needs of visitors about the Tan Malaka collection, describe the process of making annotated Tan Malaka bibliography and describe the constraints and efforts in establishing the Tan Malaka annotated bibliography at the UPT Library of Bung Hatta Proklamator. This type of research is descriptive in that it explains the making of annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka at the Bung Hatta Library UPT. Data collection techniques through direct observation to the location and interviews and data collection by reading and studying sources in the form of books, literature, and teaching materials. Based on the data processed can be concluded as follows. First, the information needs of users about annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka, namely: education, reference materials and research. Second, making annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka has several stages, namely: (a) determining the title of the bibliography, because the availability of books is quite a lot and is a book that is in great demand; (b) collection of library materials or information retrieval, a book about Tan Malaka in the Bung Hatta Library UPT 34 titles; (c) selection of library materials, by checking one by one the Tan Malaka book collection; (d) classification or classification, carried out by using numerical notation sequence numbers; (e) creation of keywords, based on the book's title and the annotation of Tan Malaka's book; (f) index preparation, Tan Malaka's annotated biblographic index consists of author index, keywords and titles arranged in alphabetical order; (g) typing the text, using Times New Roman writing style, font size 12, and space 1; (h) examination of the final bibliographic manuscript. Third, the constraints and efforts in making annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka, namely: (a) the preparation of Tan Malaka's collection of books is irregular and the efforts made are doing stock taking; (b) the collection of Tan Malaka only has 1 copy and the effort to do is take action over the media.Keywords: annotated bibliography; Tan Malaka.

Indicative abstracts can be used as a search tool and a guideline Final searchers choose the final project you want to read . The method used in this research is descriptive . Data obtained from direct observation to Padang State University library . From the results obtained literature abstracts final assignment of the year 2006, as many as 30 titles.

AbstractIn this paper discussed, first compilation of annotated bibliography, both obstacles and attempts in the compilation of bibliography annotated book the subject of human rights collection Library Komnas HAM of Padang. The purpose of this paper is to describe the compilation of bibliography of the collection of human rights subjects in the Library of Komnas HAM of Padang City in order to assist the librarian and librarian in finding the needed information easily and quickly. The method used in the writing of this paper is a descriptive method, which describes the findings or research data. The compilation of an annotated bibliography of human rights subjects in the Library of Komnas HAM of Padang was conducted by collecting data directly from the original source, the human rights subject book at Komnas HAM Library of Padang City. Based on the results obtained, the number of books on human rights subjects amounted to 100 books. Based on the compilation of an annotated bibliography of human rights subjects the collection of Komnas HAM Library of Padang City can be concluded several stages in the making of annotated bibliography: first the title of bibliography is based on the consideration of the availability of books collection with the subject of human rights, the collection of collections by the users based on the most popular information , the need for documentation that includes the collection, processing and storage of information; second collection of bibliography by recording bibliographic data of author's name, book title, and other information such as call number; the third selection of library materials is done by separating books subjected to human rights with books that are not subject to human rights; the fourth grouping or classification is done so that books with the same subject will be grouped in close proximity; the five key word-making is done by describing a subject matter so that the reader can understand and simplify the tracing of information that has been collected in a bibliographic list; Sixth Index compilation based on author index, title index and keyword index; the seven typing bibliographic texts; the eight final bibliographic manuscript examination is done by examining spelling errors and misleading punctuation of points or distances between the less appropriate sentences.Keywords: Bibliography, Book Archives, Library.
