This research aimed to (1) describe the circulation service activities, (2) explane the chalanges faced in circulation service at the library of elementary teacher education department, education Facultas in Belakang Balok Bukittinggi. Method of research was observasion and interview. The research result showed that this library apply open access sistem in circulation service and use the browne system in borriwing. The chalanges in implementary this system were(a) borrowing and return procers in the same desk,(b) the difficulty in return the book into the book shelf, and the overdue in returning. This article discusses the archival paradigm in the disclosure of public information on PT. Semen Padang. The writing is aimed at obtaining a description of: (1) archival paradigm in public disclosure in PT. Semen Padang; (2) constraints encountered in archival paradigm in PT. Semen Padang; (3) ways in which to overcome these obstacles. By analyzing the data, it was concluded that: first, at PT. Semen Padang on archival paradigm is good because the existing information and information received can already be identified quickly by work units and employees to see archival websites, newsletters, recor center archives and other information systems used by PT. Semen Padang; second, obstacles encountered in the archives at. Semen Padang presence of several units that have not been able to understand about the archives or the management of PT. Semen Padang; Third, as for the method to overcome these obstacles is to hold weekly or monthly socialization of archives and archival procedures and conduct future Jop On Training on electronic filing. This makes the user community paradigm of archival records have not been entirely good. Keywords: paragdima; archives; public information

This paper discussed about the creation of the Institute of Technology Padang Library website. This paper aims to describe how to manufacture Padang Institute of Technology Library website.The method used is descriptive method with data collection through observation or direct observation to the Library Institute of Technology Padang, interviews, and literature. From observations and interviews conducted in the library Institute of Technology Padang then collected some data as material to design websites that serve as a media campaign Padang Institute of Technology Library. Based on the discussion in the creation of websites in the Library of the Institute of Technology of Padang, we can conclude the following matters. First, the technology has become so prominent in all fields, as well as a library. Second, the design of this website is static application using CodeIgniter Framework (CI), which is one of the specially designed software in designing a simple website and install a local web server as a liaison and support in making a website using Wamp Server.Keyword: website, Â library, Institute of Technology Padang

AbstractThe goal of this research is to know the internal and external factors in utilizing library collections in the Geringging River MTsN. This type of research are descriptive, research was carried out in October 2018. Research population numbering 226 students. Sample research amounted to 45 students. Sampling techniques using Purposive Sampling. Insturmen research with deployment now. Data were analyzed with the frequency distribution formula in the form of a percentage. Research results through two factors i.e. internal factors (needs, motives and interests) and external factors (the completeness of the collection, pustakawanan skills in serving the users, the availability of on-site appointment back information). From the spread of the now disimpulan that the internal factor of utilization of library collection in Geringging River MTsN Padang Pariaman are in the category of medium with a percentage (51.27%). External factors and the utilization of library collection in Geringging River MTsN Padang Pariaman are in both categories with percentages (62.91%).Keywords: internal factors and external factors of library collections

The purposes of this study were: (1) to describe the librarians challengesâ€™ at PUGB in dealing with the development of information technology, (2) to describe the strategies that undertaken to increase the performance of librarians in facing the development of information technology at PUGB Tanah Datar. Data were collected by using observation method, interviewing with 7 librarians at PUGB. Analysis was done descriptively. The study objective is the strategy of improvement librarians performances at Public Library of Gunung Bungsu Tanah Datar Regency. There are two findings of the study for librarians in dealing with the developmentthere are two challenges for librarians in dealing with the development of information technology; komputer, communicative and knowledgeable librarians. Based on its challenges, it created the strategy for PUGB librarians in dealing with the the developments of information technology. Keyword: library performance; information technology

This paper discusses the Annotated Bibliography Making Special Issue Government in the Library and Archives of West Sumatra Province. This study aims to help users and librarians in making information retrieval using a means of controlling the form of a bibliography. Interest authors describe the manufacture khususi annotated bibliography Government Publications in the Library and Archives of West Sumatra Province. Writing this paper uses descriptive method. Data obtained from the collection directly, which is looking for the physical form in the library collection. The object of research is a special issue of the Government in the form of books as many as 70 titles. Based on data analysis, summarized things as follows: (1) the determination of title to consider the following matters: (a) tersediannya special collection of government publications, (b) the need for the library collection by pemustaka, (c) the need for documentation that includes the collection, processing and storage of information on a particular field of study. (2) the collection of library materials or information retrieval, (3) the selection of library materials, (4) grouping or calcification, (5) the keyword generation, (6) index, (7) typing the manuscript bibliography by using the writing APA (American Psycology Association, and the stage (8) manufacture bibliography is an examination of the final document which include inspection posts of errors in spelling and punctuation, suitability shortening and reversal of the author's name, writing in italics for the words of latin and magazine titles, completeness articles are used as material bibliography, index conformity with the referenced entry number, checking the layout of each piece of writing.Â Keyword: annotated bibliography, government publications, libraries

This paper aims to describe the making of annotated bibliography of fiction collection in the Library of the Department of Archives and Library of the Pesisir Selatan District Based Microsoft access .The method used is descriptive method with techniques of data collectionÂ through observation and interviews. The observations were conducted directly to investigate the fiction collections in the Library of Archives and Library of the Pesisir Selatan District. The results obtained in direct observation, the number of fiction collections in the form of a novel in the Library of Archives and Library Department of Pesisir Selatan District were 101 titles of books with its copies of 134 pieces. Based on the discussion, it concluded that the compilation of fiction collection annotated bibliography in the Library of Archives and Library Department of Pesisir Selatan District were done through several stages as follows: the stages of making annotated bibliography as follows: 1) title determination; 2) collection of library materials or information investigation; 3) collection of library materials; 4) classification or classification; 5) keyword creation; 6) index preparation; 7) typing bibliographic texts; and 8) checking the final manuscrips, and procedures for annotated bibliography based on Microsoft Access as follows: (1) create a database file; (2) create tables and input data; (3) design forms; (4) create and add event procedure; (5) create and design a query; (6) make a report; (7) create and design the menu view. AbstractThis research was aimed to make booklet mitigation for an earthquake and tsunami disaster as information media of Padang Society. This paper pupose to description creation phase booklet mitigation for an earthquake and tsunami disaster. The research method used in this paper is a descriptive method. Data resources was obtained from interview, electronic media, and non electronic media. For creating process booklet mitigation for an earthquake and tsunami disaster as information media, first step prepare tools and materials, tools and materials used in this making phase is computer or laptop connected to the internet network, printer and Canva software. The other materials that also we need is booklet art paper. Second, follow the steps according to the booklet making methodology: a) Determine the title an sub title booklet; b) Format making or booklet structure,; c) Searching for information that need as booklet content; d) Processing information; e) Arrenge and place information according to the booklet format; f) Creating booklet design and editing using Canva application; g) Printing booklet. Third, constraints and efforts in the process of making booklets. Constraints faced are an unstable internet connection that causes the editing process using the canva application cannot be run. The effort is to find a place with a stable internet connection.Â Keywords: booklet, mitigation disaster, earthquake,Â tsunami

His paper aims to obtain a description of: (1) promotion strategies in Library Â Balai Bahasa West Sumatra province, (2) constraint promotion in the Library Balai Bahasa of West Sumatra Province. Data were collected by means of observation and interviews with librarians at the Library Balai Bahasa â€‹â€‹of West Sumatra Province. Analyzing data descriptively. Based on analysis of the discussion can be concluded that: Library Balai Bahasa of West Sumatera province in carrying out the promotion strategies have not been going well still have constraints, such strategies are: promotion expenditure strategy, the promotion mix strategies, strategy selection of promotional mix media, and ad copy strategies. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe how the data processing inactive records law by using the Microsoft Access program at the Office of State Court Payakumbuh. The method used in writing this paper is the observation and direct participation by collecting data from the original source data list files written in a register clerk. Microsoft Access use data processing performed on the data file received from October to December of 2011, amounting to 110 archival data, consisting of a data file civil cases and criminal cases archived data. The treatment process begins with mengentri data into the table in Microsoft Access and create a Query. Query was created as a tool to search the data, because queries can answer questions on the data in question. Making Query in Microsoft Access only put one formula on Parameter Query and Query straight to work. Working with Query makes the search easy and fast.
