Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country where most of population work as farmers. Various planting media have been developed in Indonesia such as using greenhouses. Greenhouse is one of very promising planting media for plant cultivators, because it can be a solution to challenges of extreme climate change. In a greenhouse, the state of the room can be easily controlled using technologies such as automatic watering systems, air temperature control, air humidity and soil moisture. This research focuses on figs by applying fuzzy proportional integral derivative (FPID) as artificial intelligence on the Internet of things (IoT) for greenhouses. It uses Tsukamoto method serves to monitor air conditions and soil conditions and then it is coupled with proportional integral derivative (PID) control to control air temperature, air humidity, and soil moisture so that it is always in the ideal condition of figs in greenhouse. By implementing FPID on IoT for greenhouse, the development of figs in greenhouse can be optimized because air and soil conditions can be maintained in ideal conditions.

Abstract

Cerebrovascular diseases are one of the serious causes for the increase in mortality rate in the world which affect the blood vessels and blood supply to the brain. In order, diagnose and study the abnormalities in the cerebrovascular system, accurate segmentation methods can be used. The shape, direction and distribution of blood vessels can be studied using automatic segmentation. This will help the doctors to envisage the cerebrovascular system. Due to the complex shape and topology, automatic segmentation is still a challenge to the clinicians. In this paper, some of the latest approaches used for segmentation of magnetic resonance angiography images are explained. Some of such methods are deep convolutional neural network (CNN), 3dimentional-CNN (3D-CNN) and 3D U-Net. Finally, these methods are compared for evaluating their performance. 3D U-Net is the better performer among the described methods.

Abstract

In the recent era, machine learning-based autonomous vehicle parking and obstacle avoidance navigation have drawn increased attention. An intelligent design is needed to solve the autonomous vehicles related problems. Presently, autonomous parking systems follow path planning techniques that generally do not possess a quality and a skill of natural adapting behavior of a human. Most of these designs are built on pre-defined and fixed criteria. It needs to be adaptive with respect to the vehicle dynamics. A novel adaptive motion planning algorithm is proposed in this paper that incorporates obstacle avoidance capability into a standalone parking controller that is kept adaptive to vehicle dimensions to provide human-like intelligence for parking problems. This model utilizes fuzzy membership thresholds concerning vehicle dimensions and vehicle localization to enhance the vehicle’s trajectory during parking when taking into consideration obstacles. It is generalized for all segments of cars, and simulation results prove the proposed algorithm’s effectiveness.

Abstract

Live streaming is becoming a popular channel for advertising and marketing. An advertising company can use this feature to broadcast and reach a large number of customers. YouTube is one of the streaming media with an extreme growth rate and a large number of viewers. Thus, it has become a primary target of spammers and attackers. Understanding the behavior of users on live chat may reduce the moderator’s time in identifying and preventing spammers from disturbing other users. In this paper, we analyzed YouTube live streaming comments in order to understand spammers’ behavior. Seven user’s behavior features and message characteristic features were comprehensively analyzed. According to our findings, features that performed best in terms of run time and classification efficiency is the relevant score together with the time spent in live chat and the number of messages per user. The accuracy is as high as 66.22 percent. In addition, the most suitable technique for real-time classification is a decision tree.

Abstract

WiFi indoor positioning researches have received much attention from researchers recently. In this research, we focus on studying the performance of indoor positioning systems that utilize our new proposed ensemble machine learning model. Our new ensemble learning model uses several models for normal data training and position prediction, then it uses the verification data together with its' prediction errors from trained models as the input data to train an intermediate classification model to classify which set of Wifi received signal strength indicator (RSSI) is the best match for each position prediction model. The experimental result shows that our proposed ensemble model outperforms other compared models.

Abstract

Technological advances at this time are developing very fast, information systems became the frontline in technological advancements, the need for information systems to support jobs is increasingly high. However, its implementation for users does not have a significant impact, so that it needs to be reviewed and re-evaluated in the use of the information system built. The naive bayes classifier method can provide "effective" and "ineffective" conclusions and is used as material for evaluation and improvement. The purpose of this study is to contribute to measuring the effectiveness of the information system, to solve problems with the naïve bayes classifier method approach which has advantages in the process of classifying data and predicting data. From the test results three times, training has been conducted using 100 data, accuracy value of 84.82% and error 15.18%.

Abstract

The classification method in the spatial analysis modeling based on the multi-criteria parameter is currently widely used to manage geographic information systems (GIS) software engineering. The accuracy of the proposed model will play an essential role in the successful software development of GIS. This is related to the nature of GIS used for mapping through spatial analysis. This paper aims to propose a framework of spatial analysis using a hybrid estimation model-based on a combination of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) and artificial neural networks (ANNs) (MCDM-ANNs) classification. The proposed framework is based on the comparison of existing frameworks through the concept of a literature review. The model in the proposed framework will be used for future work on the traffic accident-prone road classification through testing with a private or public spatial dataset. Model validation testing on the proposed framework uses metaheuristic optimization techniques. Policymakers can use the results of the model on the proposed framework for initial planning developing GIS software engineering through spatial analysis models.

Abstract

Amazigh-sys is an intelligent morphological analysis system for Amazigh language based on xerox’s finite-state transducer (XFST). Our system can process simultaneously five lexical units. This paper begins with the development of Amazigh lexicon (AMAlex) for attested nouns, verbs, pronouns, prepositions, and adverbs and the characteristics relating to each lemma. A set of rules are added to define the inflectional behavior and morphosyntactic links of each entry as well as the relationship between the different lexical units. The use of finite-state technology ensures the bidirectionality of our system (analysis and generation). Amazigh-sys is the first general morphological analysis system for Amazigh based on xerox finite state able to process and recognize all lexical units and ensures a high recognition rate of input words. This contribution facilitates the implementation of other applications related to the automatic processing of the Amazigh language.

Abstract

This paper proposes a design of a complete system to identify weak grip strength that is caused by multiple factors like ageing, diseases, or accidents. This paper presents a grip measurement system that comprises of force sensing resistor and flex sensor to evaluate the condition of the hand. The system is tested by gripping a pencil and a cylindrical object using the glove, to determine the condition of the hand. Force sensitive resistor (FSR) evaluates the force applied by the different parts of the palm on the object being grasped. Flex sensor evaluates the bending of the fingers and thumb. The data from the sensors is then compared with existing data to evaluate the state of the hand. The data from the sensors is stored on the personal computer (PC) through serial communication. A model is trained using the data from the sensors, which determine if the grip strength of the user is weak or strong. The model is also trained to differentiate between two modes that are pen mode and object mode. The model achieved an accuracy of 90.8 percent using support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. This glove can be deployed in medical centers to assist in grip strength measurement.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the practice of designing and modeling objects connected to the Internet through computer networks. In the past few years, IoT-based health care programs have provided multidimensional features and services in real time. These programs provide hospitalization for millions of people to receive regular health updates for a healthier life. Induction of IoT devices in the healthcare environment have revitalized multiple features of these applications. In this paper, a disease diagnosis system is designed based on the Internet of Things. In this system, first, the patient's courtesy signals are recorded by wearable sensors. These signals are then transmitted to a server in the network environment. This article also presents a new hybrid decision making approach for diagnosis. In this method, a feature set of patient signals is initially created. Then these features go unnoticed on the basis of a learning model. A diagnosis is then performed using a neural fuzzy model. In order to evaluate this system, a specific diagnosis of a specific disease, such as a diagnosis of a patient's normal and unnatural pulse, or the diagnosis of diabetic problems, will be simulated.
