Abstract

The influence of Western culture has been recognized as very decisive towards the existence of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948, and the formulation and stipulations of international human rights that cannot be denied. Awareness of this has led to ideological conflicts in international scale human rights discourse. The conflict includes challenges to the application of universal human rights and rejection of the diagnosis that human rights norms can be understood as a standard that knows no time limits and differences in nationality throughout the world. The dynamics of universality and relativism around Ham seen from the perspective of conflict resolution produce several views including that the dynamics of universality and relativism in human rights begin when there are many incompatibility of human rights norms with socio-cultural cultural societies. The resolution of the problems related to human rights above is dialogue. Dialogue can be the best way if each party accepts openly the issues related to human rights norms, which are considered to be incompatible with cultural culture and can eventually be resolved.

Abstract

Departing from the theory that saiber space is the growth space for offline social interaction, the logical consequence is that there will be a large collection of individuals, communities, and networks that resemble communities in the real world. Where there are a group of people, surely there will also be rules, signs, symbols, ties, and procedures that govern social relations in cyberspace. The relation itself includes many fields, ranging from politics, business, literature, hobbies, gossip, to religion. It is not impossible, every social relationship or community that grows in the saiber space will emerge a rule whose indicators are unique and totally different from the real world. This essay will discuss the possibility of the emergence of cyberreligion by taking the example of a religious community born from the virtual reality game Condec Life. The theory of religion used in this essay takes the opinion of Emily Durkheim quoted in the book Religious Studies: The Making of a Discipline (Walter, 1995). Durkheim said that "religion is something eminently social" and "religious representations of collective representation which express collective realities". In other words, the reality constructed by social order and human collective consciousness is its main forming factor. Durkheim views religion as functioning and will continue to function to form knowledge formation. The collective consciousness of humans who are always thirsty for answers and knowledge is the source of the creation of moral values, cultural ideals, and religious aspirations.

Abstract

Garbage is a problem that is as small but also crucial in society, it is seen as insignificant because only waste is not important, but it becomes crucial if it can cause negative impacts such as careless disposal at times, sewers or riverbanks cause flooding, dumped on the road causing buildup. Therefore, in handling waste, it must be done wisely. In the village of Brumbun, it is considered as a community that is aware of cleanliness, so they need an assistance to localize waste, so that programs are carried out with echoes from "garbage to be a blessing". Before conducting assistance, we found a buildup of garbage that was considered by the community as a problem that needed immediate treatment. The accumulated rubbish causes the drainage flow and the village river to lose its function, waste management is carried out by empowering the community in the hope of increasing community awareness of their environment. The advisors forididakakukeng have been working to form a waste management group and the implementation of waste management extension activities for the people of Brumbun village. Group formation is carried out by forming an arrangement of active administrators who will work in managing waste. After that, guidance was provided for them to support the planned programs, while the extension activities were carried out by bringing in an expert in the field of waste management named Mr. Rasmian, S.Pd. and the team from Hi Green Surabaya who will be a resource person in the field of waste management is a blessing.

When the news positions women as the object of the news. That is, women are not given the opportunity to be the subject of the news. Because of that, it is important to see how the mass media represent women from reporting sexual violence?. The news analyzed is the February 2019 edition of the daily Kedaulatan Rakyat using Sara Mills's discourse analysis. The edition was chosen because in one of his reports contained the Agni case, UGM students who experience sexual violence. The results of the study show two things. Abstract

In a broader context, media convergence actually shows not only the rapid development of technology. Convergence changes the relationship between technology, industry, markets, lifestyles and audiences. In short, convergence changes the patterns of relations of production and consumption, whose use has serious impacts on various fields such as economics, politics, education and culture. In developed countries such as America there is a downward trend in print media customers and rising internet customers. It is even predicted that in the coming decades in the country people will leave traditional mass media and switch to convergent media. If such trends spread to various countries, it is not impossible that one day the role of the online press will replace the role of the traditional press. There are two big points in cyberpolitic: First, cyberpolitic moves political activity from the world off to the world on. Second, politics really only exists in the cyber world and does not exist in the real world. If in China people are not allowed to use Facebook as social media. Facebook is blocked and cannot be opened. Apparently this is used for military and political purposes.

Abstract

This paper examines Fi Sabilillah Jihad in Islam. Jihad which is often understood as a mission to get God's blessing becomes a dynamic that often triggers the emergence of religious nuances of violence. Jihad is understood as an order to fight different groups of ideas with their groups, so that such understanding will direct religious people into the extremist and fundamental paradigms. Through this study the author tries to conclude that jihad is not an order to kill or threaten the lives of other non-Muslims. However, jihad in Islam can be interpreted as an order to fight and fight against unbelievers who insult and hostile to Islam, Allah SWT never conveyed in the Koran to kill and fight against people who were not hostile to Islam, but only ordered to fight against unbelievers who insult Islam and uphold the religion of God on earth. Specifically jihad is different from war and terrorism, jihad is an effort with a genuine sense of carrying out Allah's commands and there is no killing order in it.

Abstract

From time to time, attention to humanitarian issues has always increased, and even today countries around the world are still faced with grim humanity phenomena, especially against life conditions that threaten the future of children. The successors of this generation have not received maximum attention. Child health conditions are still far below standard, discriminatory in obtaining living facilities, inadequate education, and the treatment of people who are not on the child's interests. Physical violence due to war, to domestic violence and other inhumane acts is still a headline in various media. In the end, all that resulted in children not getting a decent life insurance.
