Abstract

This reserch focuses on English vocabulary achievement through telling stories Using pictures. The general problem of this research is How far is the English vocabulary achievement through telling stories using pictures of the fifth year student of MIMA KH Siddiq Jember?". In this research the quantitative data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Based on the description from data analysis, the result of students’ English vocabulary achievement through telling stories was 76, 6. After consulting to the table score classification levels, the score lied in the interval of 66 to 75. This meant that the English vocabulary achievement by telling stories using pictures of the fifth year students of MIMA KH Siddiq Jember is enough. Since, the result of this research was enough; it is possible supported by the student's activity in learning English, the teaching learning process and the school facilities.

Abstract

Inclusive education has become an international education policy. Many countries already have legislation for inclusive education based on international human rights treaties such as the 1994 Salamanca Statement and UNESCO Action Framework and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Indonesia has become one of the countries that applies inclusive education in education laws and policies, and has required all provinces to implement inclusive education. The success of inclusive education requires the support of parents. This study highlights the attitudes of parents towards inclusive education. at the Keraton 4 Martapura Elementary School. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the attitudes of parents of children with special needs for inclusive education services. A total of 40 parents of children with special needs were interviewed to get a picture of attitudes. The results of this study showed the attitudes of parents with special needs to accept the concept of inclusive.

Abstract

One of the success learning process is appropriat learning design and in accordance with the conditions of learners and the learning environment. The purpose of designing a study is to improve and enhance the quality of learning. Based on the observations made by the researcher team teaching theoretical subjects in students found especially PJKR tendency kinesthetic learning pattern is a pattern of learning absorb information through physical practice. The purpose of this research is the development of a draft development know Learning Blended Learning Model (syncronous vs. Asynchronous) at the Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo. To learn more about whether blended learning (syncronous and asyncronous) appropriate for use in student sports that have these problems, it is essential that research efforts further to the researchers took the title of Model Development Learning Blended Learning (syncronous vs. Asynchronous) On Student Education Department of Sport Teachers' Training College Budi Utomo Malang. This development research using ADDIE Model. ADDIE Model is a model of the learning system of a general nature and is one of the models in the product development, application of the ADDIE model of instructional design facilitates the learning environment tailored to the existing problems. Each stage in the model ADDIE evaluations are available, so that each stage will affect the next stage. Based on trials that have been carried out to subject matter experts, media specialists and students can be concluded that the Development Model of Learning Blended Learning In Teachers' Training College Student Department of Sport Education Budi Utomo Malang have valid criteria / feasible. It is necessary for sustainability and cooperation in implementing the model.

Abstract

This study is aimed at conducting a need analysis on the existence of English materials for the students of elementary level in an inclusive classroom. The data is obtained from inclusive teacher who has ELT undergraduate educational background and the students of pre-service training of PGMI at IAIN Jember. The result shows that teacher takes a very important role in conducting an inclusive classroom in primary level due to the fact that they have to prepare materials and activities specifically for the students who have social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties (SEBD). Listening and speaking skill (oracy cycle) are considered as the first skills to be taught and introduced to the students of primary level in order to be able to make interrelationship with others more easily. English materials that compatible with the students of primary level in an inclusive classroom are the materials that encourage their multiple intelligences and recognize their learning style. The teaching procedure is emphasized on the role play in the form of guided instruction flowing from fully guided, partly guided, to fully free learning so the scaffolding of presenting materials which emphasized on touching their feeling can improve their sense of empathy and sense of taking care of others as well as building their social skill.

Abstract

Basically students have critical thinking skills. Students 'critical thinking skills that are still low are needed in a way so that students' critical thinking skills increase, With the Problem Based Learning learning model in the hope that students' critical thinking skills will increase. the purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of problem based learning in improving students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is Action Research, with the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two lessons. The subjects in this study were MTs students. In Ambulu sub-district. Data collection techniques use tests and non-tests. The results showed that student learning outcomes in the first cycle got a score of 45 with very low criteria, in cycle II it increased to 92.5 with very good criteria. Students' critical thinking skills in the first cycle experienced 36% classical completeness with very low criteria, in cycle II it increased to 80% with high criteria. The results of the study prove that the application of the Problem Based Learning model is very effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.
