Abstract

Proses penutupan botol pada industri pengolahan susu skala Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) masih didominasi oleh metode manual yang berdampak pada rendahnya efisiensi produksi, tingginya beban kerja operator, serta ketidakkonsistenan kualitas penyegelan kemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan mesin penutup botol susu otomatis berbasis PLC Outseal Nano V5 sebagai solusi otomasi untuk botol berkapasitas 250 mL. Mesin dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan PLC Outseal Nano V5 sebagai pengendali utama, sensor proximity, mekanisme sliding cup, konveyor, dan motor DC untuk mendukung proses penutupan botol secara otomatis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem bekerja dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100% pada 15 kali pengujian. Pengaturan timer PLC selama 5 detik menghasilkan kualitas penyegelan terbaik dengan waktu operasi aktual antara 5,2 hingga 5,4 detik. Analisis menggunakan metode Z-score menghasilkan rentang nilai antara −1,41 hingga +1,41 yang menunjukkan bahwa sistem memiliki tingkat kestabilan dan konsistensi operasi yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mesin yang dikembangkan berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas proses pengemasan susu pada industri pengolahan susu skala UMKM.

Abstract

Electric Power Steering (EPS) merupakan komponen kritis dalam sistem kemudi kendaraan modern, termasuk kendaraan konversi listrik. Kompatibilitas torsi EPS terhadap berbagai kondisi permukaan jalan menjadi faktor penting dalam menentukan keamanan dan kenyamanan berkendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis torsi hambatan kemudi sistem EPS Daihatsu Ayla pada tiga kontur permukaan jalan, yaitu jalan beraspal (hotmix), paving blok, dan jalan tanah, menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur kuantitatif. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari publikasi ilmiah, standar teknis, dan spesifikasi kendaraan, lalu dihitung menggunakan formula tire-patch sliding torque. Hasil menunjukkan torsi hambatan tertinggi terjadi pada paving blok (313,31 Nm), diikuti jalan aspal hotmix (281,98 Nm), dan jalan tanah (266,31 Nm). Kapasitas torsi assist EPS pada rack sebesar 60,80–134,40 Nm, sehingga beban pengemudi pada steering wheel berkisar 8,24–11,18 Nm — masuk kategori normal berdasarkan standar SAE (5–15 Nm). Disimpulkan bahwa EPS Daihatsu Ayla kompatibel dan layak diaplikasikan pada kendaraan konversi listrik berbasis Kia Picanto di berbagai kontur jalan di Indonesia.
