Abstract

Pembelajaran mata kuliah Mikrobiologi di Jurusan Pendidikan IPA FKIP Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa selama ini lebih sering dengan ceramah. Hal ini tidak efektif mengkonstruksi pengetahuan mahasiswa sebagai calon guru IPA dan belum mampu merangsang keterampilan argumentasinya. Oleh sebab itu, perlu diperbaiki menggunakan e-learning agar mahasiswa berperan aktif mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya dan memaksimalkan keterampilan argumentasi secara tertulis (tulisan). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes argumentasi tulisan yang berorientasi e-learning untuk melatih keterampilan argumentasi mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan terdiri dari 7 tahapan yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan, merencanakan, mengembangkan produk awal, melakukan validasi produk awal, merevisi produk awal, melakukan uji coba kelompok kecil dan merevisi produk. Subjek  penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA semester V sebanyak 37 orang. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tes argumentasi tulisan yang berorientasi e-learning pada mata kuliah Mikrobiologi yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat valid dengan melihat sebaran ketiga aspek penilaian. Hal ini terlihat pada aspek konstruksi dan aspek materi kategorinya sangat valid serta aspek bahasa dikategorikan valid artinya instrumen tes layak digunakan untuk diujicobakan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic (corona virus disease-2019) is an acute problem that has a multidimensional impact on all sectors of life, one of which is the education sector. Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) through Circular Number 4 of 2020, it decided to postpone all school activities and switch to online learning or distance learning (PJJ). Changes in the learning scheme are considered to have a negative impact on the learning process, especially student learning outcomes. Vocational High School (SMK) students also experience this problem more, which in their learning process prioritizes practice in mastering vocational skills and abilities. As a result, many students experience a decrease in the value of learning outcomes and mastery of the abilities they learn due to minimal or even no direct practical learning experienced by SMK students. Therefore, a solution is needed to support the learning process for vocational students during the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is through designing a vocational assistance management system (SIMAK SMK) based on an android application. In the development process, research procedures were carried out through literature studies and field studies, then producing media by making flowcharts, then making media according to the design that had been made. The final stage is media evaluation which is validated by educational evaluation experts and educational technology validation experts to see the feasibility of the media and make reports.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' oral argumentation skills based on Socioscientific Issues in the Microbiology course. This type of research is a descriptive study in order to obtain an overview of the quality of oral arguments of sixth semester students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, totaling 37 students of science class 2017. The instruments used were audio recordings and anecdotal notes. The assessment of the quality of students' oral arguments is based on the Toulmin's Argumentation Pattern (TAP) pattern which consists of claim, data, warrant, backing, and rebuttal elements. The results showed that science students had the quality of oral argumentation which was still at level 1 where student arguments only consist of simple claims with opposing claims obtaining a percentage of 12%,, level 2 had a percentage rate of 88% while level 3%, level 4% and level 5% of 0% means scientific argumentation ability science students are still relatively low. This finding will be the basis for researchers to evaluate the learning program that has been applied in the Microbiology course and become the basis for further research related to learning strategies in improving the oral argumentation skills of prospective science teachers.

Abstract

The development of technology-based teaching materials is one of the competencies that teachers must have in dealing with technological developments in the digital era, coupled with the current pandemic conditions, teachers are forced to develop online-based learning including learning for early childhood. As a professional Early Childhood Education teacher, of course, you must have competence in developing technology-based teaching materials, but in the implementation of Early Childhood Education, there are still many educators who do not have this ability because there are still many PAUD teachers who have not received Early Childhood Education. For example, in Curug subdistrict, which is located not far from the government center, which has 55 Early Childhood Schools, and only two Kindergarten schools have State status, the rest are “SPS” study groups that are voluntarily managed by the community. Departing from these problems, the community service planning program which aims to assist in the development of technology-based teaching materials for early childhood to early childhood teachers in Curug District, Serang City, Banten. This community service activity is carried out with online workshops and mentoring for PAUD teachers to be able to make technology-based teaching materials in a simple form through learning videos tailored to the needs of a pandemic like today The mentoring activity was carried out for one month, and the results obtained from this activity were that early childhood teachers were able to make teaching materials in the form of learning videos that could be used to help the learning process from home during this pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik hubungan antara Kesiapan Kerja dengan Keterampilan 4C di SMKN 2 Kabupaten Tangerang, dan aspek yang paling berpengaruh terhadap Kesiapan Kerja. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Adapun besaran sampel yang di ambil pada penelitian ini berjumlah 54 siswa yang di ambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan isntrumen angket dan essay. Data tersebut diolah dengan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif dan korelasi product moment. Hasil Analisis menggunakan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara Kesiapan Kerja dengan Keterampilan 4C sebesar 32.7% dan sisanya sebesar 67.3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain, hasil korelasi product moment menunjukkan bahwa dalam penelitian ini terbukti variabel komunikasi dan kolaborasi terdapat hubungan antara kesiapan kerja, sedangkan variabel berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pada besaran sampel penelitian. Kemudian jika diurutkan aspek yang paling dominan pada variabel keterampilan 4C terhadap kesiapan kerja yaitu variabel komunikasi dengan nilai koefisien correlation sebesar 0,528 dan kolaborasi dengan nilai 0,449, dan berpikir kreatif sebesar 0,190, terakhir yaitu berpikir kritis sebesar 0,187.Kata kunci: Pendidikan SMK, Kesiapan Kerja, Keterampilan 4C

Abstract

In this study, the researchers want to find out how much better students learn mechanical measuring instruments when they use the NHT type of joint learning model compared to when they use the traditional model of learning at SMKN 1 Tunjung Teja. A non-equivalent control group approach is used in this kind of study, which is kind of like an experiment. The people who took part in this study were students in class X at TKRO SMKN 1 Tunjung Teja. A learning outcome test was used as a study tool, and the T-test and N-gain test were used to analyze the results. The results showed that the experimental class that used the NHT learning method learned a lot. They got an average score of 22.80 on the pretest and 90.80 on the posttest. The control class had an average score of 21.47 on the pre-test and 49.26 on the post-test for learning results. A significant value of 0.00 ? 0.05 was found when the independent sample t-test test was used to test the claim. The N-gain number for the experimental class was 88.10% with high criteria, while it was 35.71% for the control class with intermediate criteria. This shows that the students learned more. What this means is that using the NHT type group learning model makes learning about mechanical measuring tools much more effective.

Abstract

Aktivitas di dalam kelas menjadi sarana bagi Guru maupun peserta didik untuk dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan, namun terkadang Guru tidak menerapkan sistem manajemen kelas yang tepat sehingga kondisi lingkungan kelas menjadi kurang kondusif bagi setiap peserta didik untuk dapat menyerap materi maupun instruksi yang diberikan. Pemahaman yang benar mengenai situasi dan kondisi kelas, serta mengetahui dengan baik kebutuhan peserta didik yang berbeda-beda dapat menjadi langkah awal bagi Guru untuk dapat menciptakan sistem manajemen kelas yang sesuai, sehingga peserta didik tentunya dapat merasakan manfaat dari setiap aktivitas pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Metode pembelajaran berbasis diferensiasi adalah salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan oleh Guru untuk menghasilkan manajemen kelas yang sesuai, terutama pada mata pelajaran sejarah. Materi sejarah yang umumnya dianggap membosankan dapat menjadi materi yang menarik tentunya dengan metode yang baik dan benar, metode yang dipakai pada tulisan ini adalah metode kualitatif dan dalam ditemukan bahwa manajemen berbasis diferensiasi dapat meningkatkan partisipasi peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

Rendahnya capaian belajar dapat terjadi oleh sejumlah faktor seperti lemahnya proses pembelajaran dan kurang diasahnya kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk menganalisis implementasi dari metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam materi kimia dalam kurikulum 2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini yaitu literature review. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, beberapa materi kimia menunjukkan pengaruh yang cukup signifikan terutama dalam segi keaktifan dan keikutsertaan siswa di dalam kelas. Hal tersebut dapat diamati melalui data peningkatan pencapaian belajar siswa dalam siklus I dan siklus II. Pada materi sistem periodik unsur aspek aktivitas belajar persentase ketercapaian sebesar 69,22% pada siklus I dan bertambah menjadi 75,76% pada siklus II. Persentase ketercapaian aspek pengetahuan sebesar 52,94% pada siklus I, kemudian bertambah menjadi 73,53% pada siklus II. Sedangkan Persentase ketercapaian aspek keterampilan sebesar 82,35% pada siklus I dan bertambah menjadi 97,06% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bisa ditarik kesimpulkan bahwa pengaplikasian metode Project Based Learning dapat mengoptimalkan capaian belajar kimia siswa.

Abstract

Principal leadership is needed to improve the quality of education in the school environment. This research raises the issue of Effective Principal Leadership Management on Education Quality. The purpose of this research is to find out the effective role of school principals to improve the quality of education. This research uses qualitative research methods of literature study. Qualitative research produces descriptive data in the form of written words. Principal leadership is the principal's effort to influence, encourage, guide, direct, and mobilize education personnel, parents, and school residents, to participate in order to achieve predetermined goals, namely improving the quality of education in schools. The principal's role as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, and applying entrepreneurial values in managing educational institutions by innovating and developing schools can improve the quality of education in the institutions he leads.
