Abstract

The crucial problem we face in MTs Bahrul Ulum is on student character and their linguistic. They did not know how did their language which they use to communicate with the teacher is polite or not. This will impact to their character in a large community. Because language is the great factor to the successful character building. Based on our opinion, there must be a great attention to the student language in MTs Bahrul Ulum. The used method in this service is giving the counseling with many variant games, and it make the interesting session to the student. This Dedication activities consist of three steps: Pre service, service, and post service. The impact in this post service for teacher and their student is to analyses how far the dedication effect to increase the character building and good language due to the students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan metode kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan metode campuran untuk kualitatif adalah dengan interaktif model, yang terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data penarikan serta pengujian data. Dan untuk pemberdayaan menggunakan teknis Metode RRA yang memiliki tiga konsep dasar yaitu; (a) perspektif sistem, (b) triangulasi dari pengumpulan data, dan (c) pengumpulan data dan analisis secara berulang-ulang (iterative). Dari hasill temuan adalah : Strategi yang dilakukan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat muslim miskin adalah dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pembuatan makanan ringan berupa kripik yang berbahan baku bonggol pisang sebagai usaha sampingan dalam upaya peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat muslim miskin. Stakeholder yang terlibat dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat muslim miskin tersebut adalah Perangkat dan PKK desa Benelan Lor serta perangkat kecamatan Kabat Banyuwangi. Kata Kunci : Pemberdayaan, Masyarakat miskin, Bonggol Pisang

Abstract

Mayangan Village, Gumukmas Subdistrict, Jember Regency is an abundant village producing papaya fruit, but so far the products have only been sold in fruit form, and are not processed in derivative products, even though the papaya fruit is rotten quickly after being cooked. Therefore, efforts need to be made to increase the value added by empowering the community to be willing and collaborating to manage papaya production into products that have high economic value, as well as a means to increase people's income. The purpose of this service activity is to provide a real solution to the process of processing post-harvest papaya through the diversification of processed products made from papaya into several products whose economic value added is far higher. The results of this service are as follows: 1) produce candied papaya with various variations; 2) produce papaya dodol products; 3) help from the marketing aspect in the initial stages, namely designing the branding of the products produced under the name "Bolo Dewo"; 4) teach estimation of profits obtained from receipt of products sold with the assumption that the products sold are all sold; 5) conduct evaluation after the service program.

Abstract

The purpose of this community assistance is to increase communitywealth through the creative industry by utilizing guava Kristal c grade to be Dodol inKarangdoro village Banyuwangi. The method used in this community assistance is(PAR) participatory action research method with the approach and doing the trainingof utilization of guava Kristal grade c, guava Kristal that have bad shape butconsumable. This kind of guava Kristal is usually used as livestock feed or dumped bypeople. This training is given to mums, the member of PKK, Posyandu cadre, and groupof religious study. This training is named DJ KRIIS, the abbreviation of Dodol JambuKristal that become healthy snacks and can be made as a souvenir; therefore it canincrease community income.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Community service is aimed to socialize the early literacy movement for teachers and parents of PAUD I students in Pulantan Village, Aluh-Aluh District. This dedication was held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in PAUD Makanatut Thalibin. The target of this activity is PAUD teachers and parents of students. The reason for implementing this service is a school that is far from the city center, a low level of education from parents of students so that the planting of early literacy to their children is often unthinkable to them, even the planting of early literacy they submit to school. The method in this socialization uses the lecture method, discussion and question and answer, to provide knowledge on the importance of early literacy in children. After this implementation it can be concluded that the awareness of students' parents the importance of instilling a culture of early literacy for children, while for PAUD teachers Makanatut Thalibin they understand that many methods of teaching early literacy are fun for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to provide understanding to businesses about the importance of labels and packaging, provide training on good labels and packaging to business people and provide an understanding of how to increase the sale value of cassava chips. The method used in the community service program is to use the lecture method to provide an understanding of the management of small businesses, labels and appropriate tracking and label rules and regulations. Besides that, it uses a workshop method about design and packaging. The result of this community service program is that businesses know more about how to increase the selling value of products by labeling and packging. Abstract

Padang people in particular Andongsari is located in corner , make residents around confusion the place disposal . Cleanliness in Padang Village is very apprehensive. this because not it is the place disposal end , finally rubbish thrown away in around rivers , ravines , ditches , streams rice fields , and places others . Too the community around who doesn't too care with environment them . this have an impact not healthy on residents around . Very unfortunate , if Hamlet Andongsari to be automatic slum areas to be nest disease too. By because that , for build a sense of caring the community Hamlet Andongsari against cleanliness , us try for wake up they with hold Socialization Cleanliness . As well as giving motivation to teenagers hamlet for always share in advance hamlet beloved. We do thing that together residents with hope for cleanliness in Hamlet Andongsari can overcome , teenagers increasingly active in his organization . And realize hamlet whose citizens be aware will cleanliness that makes they always throw away garbage on the place

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to trigger the Gumirih Village community in Singojuruh Subdistrict to be able to implement healthy life by throwing garbage not carelessly. The method used in this empowerment uses participatory Action Research methods. The results of observations in the field, especially in Gayam Lor Hamlet, the community dumped garbage in the river and still did bathing, washing, and defecating in the river. After learning about the various shortcomings in Gumirih Village, with a lack of public awareness about environmental hygiene, lack of facilities to support cleanliness, training was held and inviting residents to eliminate the culture of throwing garbage in the river, and inviting residents to beautify the environment around the house to grow comfortable looking at the beautiful environment as soon as the desire to dispose of garbage or defecate in the river is diminishing. Things that should be appreciated in this cleaning program are cohesiveness of citizens, cleanliness of the environment, and the beauty of the environment of the hamlet road.

Abstract

Ketersediaan sumber air bersih khususnya di daerah kampung waroi belum memadai secara optimal oleh pemerintah setempat terumata perusahaan daerah (PDAM) untuk melayani tingkat kebutuhan masyarakat, untuk itu perlu dilakukan pengeboran air tanah. Air tanah adalah air yang di sadap atau diisap dari bawah tanah yang sudah diketahui, baik kuantitasnya, maupun kualitasnya untuk dipergunakan sebagai kebutuhan masyarakat setiap hari. Sumber air bersih yang dipergunakan baik untuk keperluan cuci, mandi dan kebutuhan air minum di kampung waroi selama ini adalah memanfaatkan air hujan. Kualitas dan kuantitas akan air hujan ini sangat terbatas, sedangkan kebutuhan akan air bersih untuk keperluan masyarakat adalah sangat tinggi. Untuk itulah dengan adanya pemboran air tanah dalam ini, maka sedikit banyaknya kebutuhan akan air bersih untuk masyarakat dapat teratasi. Pengabdian ini langsung diterapkan dilapangan dengan pengelolaan menggunakan peralatan yang murah, sederhana, serta terjangkau dan langsung dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat kampung waroi. Kedalaman sumur bor sekitar 75 meter. Penyaluran air bersih dilakukan dengan cara memasang tangki penampungan air ( intake ) setinggi 5 meter diatas permukaan tanah, kemudian disambung sekitar 5 buah pipa air penyaluran yang dipasang kran, sehingga masyarakat dapat menggunakan air secara langsung setiap hari. Pada akhirnya harus dipikirkan seberapa besar air bersih yang akan dibutuhkan dan sistem yang digunakan dalam pencarian sumber-sumber air bersih, baik manual maupun konvensional.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) has an important role in the Indonesian economy, one of which can help the per capita income of the Indonesian state, especially in Banyuwangi Regency, as well as in the UM Banana Sale UD UD. Sumber Alam Buana, located at the eastern end of the island of Java, precisely in Banyuwangi. The UMKM is one of Banyuwangi's original typical food businesses from Ambon banana raw material, bearing in mind that typical food is identical to souvenirs (souvenirs) when visiting Banyuwangi, certainly not forgetting to bring and share them with you. However, there are problems in the field of production of UD Banana Banana UD, namely the low production capacity of processing banana raw materials because it still uses a cutting knife and the appropriate method has not been applied to record raw materials or finished goods so that the owner is less able to control the cycle of raw materials or finished goods. While in the marketing sector it is still conventional to be entrusted in a gift shop so that it can only wait for whether the product is sold or vice versa. The solution to the development activities of UMKM Sale Banana UD Sumber Alam Buana includes counseling and training using a banana chopper tool that is more efficient than a knife that has been used to chop banana raw materials. Whereas in terms of recording to help partners to control raw material inventory and finished goods efficiently and effectively, the need for training knowledge and assistance to owners and employees using a perpetual method stock card (inventory). To expand market share that has demanded the use of technology, training is held to make e-mail as a portal to access several e-commerce websites and to open online stores through social media such as Facebook and others. The results achieved in the Community Service program are the development of this business in terms of increasing production capacity, managing raw materials, expanding markets and increasing income.
