Abstract

This article is based on the Community Partnership Program (PKM) which seeks to improve the ability to recognize colors in early childhood. The ability to recognize colors is an aspect of cognitive abilities. Early childhood color recognition can stimulate vision in the brain Color can also induce visual sensitivity. This happens because the color of the object is directly or indirectly exposed to sunlight and visible to the eye. The learning strategy aims to make learning can be achieved well, one of which is the Edutainment strategy that can be used in early childhood learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to recognize colors that will be given to TK-Al Hidayah students and provide an interesting approach method. The method used is observation, interviews and lectures. Based on the results of the application of the edutainment learning method, it can be concluded that the program can provide learning and knowledge to children about basic colors, the edutainment method can make it easier for children to understand the material, the edutainment method can also provide a new learning atmosphere for Al Hidayah Kindergarten children and can be used as recommendations for improving learning methods. It is hoped that this research can provide experience and lessons for the author, especially in education. The author hopes that further practice can develop this research more broadly with different methods.

Abstract

The global covid-19 pandemic has had far-reaching effects on education as well. Whole education, including early childhood education, makes it impossible to engage in face-to-face teaching, so an innovation of learning systems is needed to hold it. Contrary to current circumstances, some schools already carry out face-to-face learning but with strict health protocols. So RA Hibah has carried out face-to-face study with health protocol. Thus, the study is carried out with a view to discovering the innovation of the different learning systems that RA Hibah made during the pandemic, since the pandemic is not over and so the study is carried out according to conditions. Research methods use qualitative research methods, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and literature studies. Observations and interviews have found that innovation in learning systems during pandemics in RA Hibah, which is online learning, rolling learning, and offline learning.

Abstract

Early childhood development needs to be considered properly, especially cognitive development. However, there are still many parents who are less sensitive to this. Therefore, the authors conducted a study to determine the level of parental concern for the cognitive development of children who were analyzed based on parenting patterns. The research method used a survey method with a sample of 20 parents and 20 teenagers. The results show that there are 45% of parents who choose authoritative parenting and 45% of adolescents who get authoritative parenting from their parents. With this figure, parenting is very influential on children's cognitive development, some of the effects are 50% of people are easy to interact socially, 75% of people are easy to catch life's problems, 55% of people are difficult to find solutions to their problems, 60% are able to understand the concept of value/ love even though it is still difficult, and 65% feel a little involved in the learning process. The author advises readers to always apply authoritative parenting because it is included in the ideal parenting pattern.

Abstract

Changes in the learning process during the pandemic from classroom learning to online learning certainly cannot be separated from the role of gadgets, but for early childhood the online learning process using gadgets needs to get supervision from parents to minimize negative impacts. This study aims to explore the way parents monitor the use of gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic in early childhood aged 4-6 years at Aisyiyah Kindergarten Bustanul Athfal 6 Pontianak City. This research is a qualitative research. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions. Participants in this study consisted of 10 mothers who had early childhood. There are 4 themes found in this study, namely 1) managing the time of using gadgets, 2) limiting access, 3) giving passwords to gadgets and 4) giving rewards and punishments. This study concludes that to reduce the negative impact and addiction to gadgets, parental supervision is needed in the use of gadgets.

Abstract

The lack of teacher ability in using the method causes children to have difficulty remembering the hadith that has been taught. The author conducted classroom action research (CAR) introducing hadith through the hand movement method carried out at RA Ar-Rohmah Serang City on 7 children’s. CAR was carried out in 2 cycles using the Kemmis and MC Taggart models and was descriptive qualitative. The results of the CAR carried out obtained 66,07% in cycle 1 with the criteria of Developing According to Expectations (DAE) and in the second cycle it rose to 86,16% with the criteria of Very Good Development (VGD), thus the hand movement method can improve children’s ability to recognize hadith.

Abstract

Teacher competence is a professional standard for educators in understanding learning materials, as well as matters relating to the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PAUD teacher competence in increasing the attractiveness of learning in the New Normal Era. This study uses a quantitative method in which the data processing uses simple linear regression. The population in this study were 50 teachers in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire technique and also interviews. To test the analysis using the F regression test and the coefficient of determination. Based on the results obtained that there is a strong influence between understanding teacher competence and increasing the attractiveness of learning in this new normal era. This is based on the acquisition of the percentage of the influence of 63.7%. So that there is a link between the knowledge of teacher competence and increasing children's interest in learning.

Abstract

One of the factors that support the process of renewal and novelty is technology and information, especially utilization and novelty in the field of education. In the process, many learning activities in schools still use direct instructional (conventional) methods and media in the delivery of material for developing children's language skills, one of which is. Annizhomiyyah Kindergarten at Pandeglang Banten is the focus of this research. Aims to determine the effectiveness of using interactive multimedia in improving language skills of children aged 4-5 years. Using an experimental quantitative approach with a one group pre-test post-test design for a sample of 16 children. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The initial results of the pre-test resulted in an achievement rate of 54% and after treatment the post-test results obtained an achievement rate of 95%. This concluded that the use of interactive multimedia in the process can significantly improve the language skills of children aged 4-5 years and based on the existing rating scale. on the criteria of a high level of effectiveness.

Abstract

Early literacy for early childhood continues to invite pros and cons. This is what makes parents and educators a dilemma in this study. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview from the point of view of parents and educators on the problem of early childhood literacy. This study invited 6 parents, 6 educators and 1 psychologist to share their point of view through interviews followed by observation for 6 months. Parents are afraid of their children's reading-writing-counting abilities, that is what drives them to include their children in conventional early literacy learning, while educators mix the concepts of playing and conventional as a result of parental demands. Early literacy is not wrongly given to early childhood, what is wrong is the way it is delivered, conveying it with a fun concept, playing while learning. Because basically, children have the right to enjoy their childhood without having to be snatched away by the anxiety of their parents who are their trusted people.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic management planning of PAUD institutions, analyze the implementation of PAUD institutions' strategic management, and analyze the results of the evaluation of PAUD's strategic management institutions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that is carried out by conducting a study in the field. The research was carried out in the Dian Gita Playgroup, Palopo City. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the strategy management process begins with conducting an environmental analysis or SWOT analysis. Through a SWOT analysis, it was found that the strengths of the Dian Gita Playgroup are located in densely populated areas, sources of funds, and facilities for playing and learning. The weakness is that the qualifications of educators do not meet, as well as the absence of educational staff. Opportunities are the support of parents of students, support from the central government and local governments, as well as a conducive school environment. While the challenge is that there are many other educational institutions around the school and people's thinking is still monotonous. Based on the results of the SWOT, planning is then carried out, namely: 1. The school leadership recruits educators with qualifications of having a D-II PGTK diploma from an accredited study program or having an S1 Early Childhood Education diploma. 2. The school leadership recruits education personnel with qualifications of having a minimum high school diploma (SMA) or having a bachelor's degree in Education Administration or Education Management. 3. Conduct curriculum reviews and improvements to the learning process that can support school accreditation. 4. Conducting socialization related to the importance of sending children to Early Childhood Education institutions before children enter the level of basic education. However, at the implementation stage, the Dian Gita Playgroup has not recruited educators and education personnel according to the qualifications required by BAN-PAUD. This is an obstacle in fulfilling one of the PAUD accreditation standards. As a result, there is 1 standard that does not meet the criteria, namely Standard 4, namely the Standard for Educators and Education Personnel. In the implementation stage, Dian Gita's playgroup has conducted a curriculum review and improvements to the learning process that can support school accreditation. 4. Conducting socialization related to the importance of sending children to Early Childhood Education institutions before children enter the level of basic education. As for the evaluation of the results of strategic management, it is necessary to recruit educators and education staff to meet the criteriabogv Standard. The Standard for Educators and Education Personnel.

Abstract

This study aims to describe 1) parenting program implementation 2) benefits of parenting programs 3) supporting factors and inhibiting factors of parenting programs. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers and parents. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presen tation and conclusion drawing. Validity of data conducted to explain data using extended research, triangulation, membercheck and adequacy of references. The results showed that 1) The parenting program is carried out every three months with stages of planning, implementation and evaluation. Each theme is different, the first is about socializing school programs, the second is about maintaining the nutritional health of children and the third is about parenting in the digital era 2) this parenting program provides several benefits to respondents. 3) supporting factors include the enthusiasm of the participants, the solidarity of the committee, adequate facilities and infrastructure and the implementation time is not too long. Inhibiting factors include the lack of participants and the lack of school socialization.
