Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of the internet as a learning media in Culture and Arts (music) instruction in grade X of SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci. The research problem stems from the existence of internet facilities in the school, but the use has not been on target. This study belongs to qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The object of research was the learning activity of Culture and Arts (music) by using the internet which was conducted in grade X of SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci. The research instruments were observation, interview, and document study. Meanwhile, the data were collected through documentation notes, field notes, and interview guides. Moreover, the data were analyzed by using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study explain that the use of the internet as a learning media in Culture and Arts (music) instruction in grade X of SMK Negeri 4 Kerinci has resulted in inappropriate internet usage. Learning activities that should be guided more by teachers in class are often left to students for internet-facilitated learning. Due to the fact that students get assignments to seek knowledge and understanding via the internet, the teacher often do not attend the class. The teachers let students learn Culture and Arts in the classroom using the internet without teachers’ guidance. As a result, the students do their assignments improperly. The internet is mostly used by students for things which are not really related to the subject learned. This can be proven from the fact that when the teacher asks questions and gives tests at the next meeting, the students cannot answer properly and correctly.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain the governance of the organization of Rumah Gadang Dance Art in managing the order well to be able to achieve achievement both national and international so that it remains exist and survive to date. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as notebooks, note taking tools, video cameras, photo cameras, and tape recorders. The data types in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observation, interviews, documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the governance of the organization run by Sanggar Rumah Gadang can run well so that it produces good achievements. The research is included in a line organization (a form of organization where direct authority delegation is vertically and completely from leadership to its subordinates). The advantage of the line organization, all decisions can be resolved directly because in a particular situation the leader becomes one of the main targets in problem solving. Disadvantages of the line organization, if there is an issue or problem can not be resolved quickly because the leader is not in place. Thus the governance of the line Oganisasi to solve the problem or problems in the workshop, the head of the workshop became the first person to complete and resolve the issue.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and express the form of presentation of the Cecah Inai dance in a marriage party in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analytical methods. The object of the research is the Cecah Inai Dance in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province, which was focused on the form of presentation. Data collection techniques were done through literature review observations, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzedby using triangulation techniques which compare observational data and interview data as well as documentation data.The results of the study generally showed that the Cecah Inai Dance was performed in pairs, which could be displayed on the proscenium stage and an open area. It lasted for five minutes. The form of presentation of the Cecah Inai Dance at a wedding in Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu District, Riau Province is in the form of pure representation. The elements of this dance presentation form are as follows: (1) Opening and closing greetings, Picking Motion, Grinding Motion, Splitting Motion, and Sowing or Spreading Motion. (2) The floor pattern of Cecah Inai Dance uses a pattern of straight lines or horizontal lines. (3) The accompanying music of Cecah Inai Dance consists of: accordion, gebane, and gong or mp3 recorded music.(4) The makeup used is beautiful and dashing makeup. The Dancers wear the BelangeTelok and Songket clothes as well as Peji or Tanjak for male dancers while female dancers wear Baju Kurung and Songket clothes and head accessories such as bun. (5) In addition, the Cecah Inai dance uses some properties such as turmeric rice, nail polish, fresh flour, and trays which are danced from the beginning to the end of the dance.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on Music Art learning in the 10 Kerinci Junior high school, including soft-skill and hard-skill learning. The study uses theories related to the 2013 curriculum. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. The object of this study was the study of musical art in class VIII SMP Negeri 10 kerinches on the Semetereven school year 2019/2020. Research instruments are self-research, namely in AIDS with the instruments of notebooks and observations with the technique of collecting observation data, interviews and library studies. The results showed that the teachers were able to music art of junior high School 10 Kerinci has been able to spread the concept of soft-skills and hard-skills well in the learning of music art in class VIII. As a BETUK application of the 2013 curriculum that succeeded characters, but does not overlook the purpose of learning knowledge and skills. Based on the results of the study, explained that whether or not the use of the curriculum 2013 and accompanying teaching devices, depends on the teacher's personal, especially in good faith and its codifying in explaining a curriculum. The 2013 curriculum which is based on soft-skill and hard-skill, will be successful or not, not because the curriculum are less precise or great, to the extent that the teacher understands with the intent of the 2013 curriculum that is involved in learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and determine the Implementation of Culture and Arts instruction using online learning at SMA Negeri 3 Padang Panjang. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method. The instruments used were the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and mobile phones. The data were collected through interviews, literature study, and documentation. This study used primary and secondary data. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, identifying the data, classifying the data, describing the data, and making conclusions. The results show that the implementation of online learning has not been carried out well. This is due to the fact that there are still many students who do not participate in the process of online learning. In addition, the lesson plans used by teachers are inappropriate. The teachers still use lesson plans for classrooms instruction. This is due to the fact that there is no order from the government to create online lesson plans. The media used is very limited. The teachers use smartphones, laptops and computers. Moreover, the methods used are also limited. The teachers usually used demonstration, lectures, discussions, and assignments. Meanwhile, in online learning the teachers only give assignments. Discussions carried out during online learning are still conducted. However, there are small numbers of students respond and participate in the discussion. The assignments collected are also not on time on the grounds that students have not finished working on assignments, network problems, internet data, and others.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the choreography form of Indang Randai Dance at Alang Bangkeh Studio, Silaing Bawah, Padang Panjang city. This is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data, and making conclusions. The results show that Indang Randai dance is a creative dance whichholds the characteristics of Minangkabau women and rules which exist in Minangkabau custom. This dance tells about the joy of teenagers in doing activities. The dance functions as an entertainment dance. Related to the dance elements, Indang Randai dance choreography consists of 59 dance movements, the upper design dominantly using low design, the floor design which is dominantly from straight line developments, the music design, and the dramatic group choreography design. The dynamics are generally intermediate. The group choreography is performed simultaneously and balanced. The costumes worn are galembong pants, bajukurung, tokah, waist bands, and accessories. The dancers use stage make-up. From all those dance elements, relation to the theme of the daily activities of teenagers who are happy and enthusiastic in carrying out activities can be made.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the choreography of a dance called Tari Piring Diateh Karambie in Kanagarian Payo, Tanah Garam Village, Lubuk Sikarah District, Solok City. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument of this research was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and voice recorders. This research used primary and secondary data. The data were through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, reducing the data, presentation the data, and making conclusions. The results show that Tari Piring Diateh Karambie a is a traditional dance using a choreographic approach, and it is cultivated by raising the life of nature and the people of Nagari Payo. This dance has been around since 1995. Tari Piring Diateh Karambie uses elements of dance composition consisting of: 7 types of movement, simple floor pattern, top design, music, dramatic design, dynamic, theme, composition, group, and equipment. The movement of Tari Piring Diateh Karambie comes from a combination of Nagari Payo and Simawang. The movements and floor patterns used by dancers have fulfilled the elements of the dance composition. There is also music to accompany the dance movement so that it makes the dance alive as well as it complements the dance. The equipment used also gives the nuance to the dance so that it is not monotonous. In addition, the group choreography shows high social values and depicts the nature around Nagari Payo

Abstract

Zapin Siak dance is a traditional Malay dance which has been cultured, lived, and developed in line with human life from time to time. Zapin Siak dance is danced by two male dancers taking parallel position in a form of motion which generally uses a lot of. This is a qualitative research using a content analysis method, known as content analysis. The object of research was Zapin Siak Dance in Kampung Dalam Subdistrict, Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The research instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by writing instruments, cameras, and flash drives. The data analysis was done by describing and interpreting various movements of the Zapin Siak dance. It refers to the elements of motion: the head, body, hands, and The results show that the movement structure of Zapin Siak Dance in Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province, consists of 22 kinem elements, 22 morphokinem elements, 7 motif elements, and one overall dance form, namely Zapin Siak dance. Zapin Siak dance has a syntagmatic relationsip between the motif level and a paradigmatic relationship in overall dance.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instrument and camera. The data were collected through interviews, literature study, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by identifying the data, classifying the data, describing the data, and making conclusions. The results show that the learning process for the musical ensemble at SMP Negeri 29 Padang consists of group division, coinciding, selection of musical instruments, and learning of each music / instrument. The music ensemble learning activities are divided into three stages: preparation, practice / process, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, the teacher prepares the teaching document and  subject matter while the students prepare musical instruments. In the practice / process stage, the teacher gives apperception in reminding about the meaning of musical ensembles and types of musical instruments, introducing songs to be played, and providing musical scores as well as techniques for playing recorder and pianica. In the evaluation stage, the teacher assesses, reviews, and sees the success and development of students towards learning.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the procedures for presenting Persembahan Bungo dance in a guest welcoming event in Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. This is a qualitative research resulting descriptive analysis data. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted bycollecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data, and making conclusion. The results show that Persembahan Bungo dance has parts and sequences in each presentation. They are preparation before performing, initial stage, during the performance, and the end of the performance.Persembahan Bungo dance has 9 movements: Sembah Penghormatan, gerak selamat datang, sembah paduko, lenggang, putri malu, berinai, limbai, zapin bungo, and mambuko pagar ayu. The rules for performing Persembahan Bungo dance are compiled by custom or according to the customary rules in Bungo Regency, are in accordance with the motto of Bungo Regency, and pay attention to the values in a reception. For example, in the rule of washing betel, the betel must be washed first by the queen. This symbolizes cleanliness, purity, and respect for the welcomed guests by people of Bungo regency.
