Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the recorder music learning on class VII-1 students at SMP Negeri 2 Lengayang, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The theoretical framework used in this study relates to study and learning, learning the musical art and Recorder Music Learning in Junior High School (SMP). This type of study was a qualitative with using descriptive analysis method. The research instrument was the researcher and it was assisted by data collection tools such as observation note, interview guidelines, and document note. The types of data were primary and secondary data. The analysis techniques were done by collecting, reducing, and concluding. The result shows that the recorder music learning on class VII-1 students in semester 2 was the learning that was not in accordance with the syllabus and lesson plans that were guided / made by the teacher based on Curriculum 2013. It is because the recorder learning that should be carried out by the students is in the form of a kind of music ensemble learning, it is still carried out in the recorder music learning individually by the students. Even though the students are in the same class, each of them has different ways and abilities in practicing to play the game of recorder music. On the other hand, the teacher has also reasoned that directly providing the recorder ensemble to students will be difficult because the basic ability of playing the recorder individually is still weak. Keywords: recorder music learning, musical art, cultural art

Abstract

Abstract This study was aimed to describe how process of cultural art learning in SMA Negeri 1 Nan Sabaris. In activity, teacher had important role to get the purpose of the study. Teacher had to hold the learning refer to the plan as a reference. Type of this study was qualitative with analitycal descriptive method. The main instrument of this study was the researcher. The assisted tools used in this study were stationery, camera and audio recorder. This study used two data, they were primary and secondary. Moreover, technique of data collection were done by using library research, observation, interview and documenntation. Result of this study showed that the learning of cultural art in SMA Negeri 1 Nan Sabaris had not been accomplished well yet. It was caused in the learning process of cultural art, there was still an irregularity. In cultural art learning in SMA Negeri 1 Nan Sabaris, teacher had to refer to the existing plan, but it was not equipped by adequating facilities. In order to reach the purpose of the study, the school needed to accomplish the facilities which were needed in the learning. Keywords  :  Facilities in cultural art learning

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to describe the art of music training through Drum Band extracurricular in SMPN 7 Kota Padang. The type of research conducted is qualitative research using a descriptive method of research that is trying to illustrate, relate and interpret a phenomenon that is happening in the present. The results of this research show that the activity of the extracurricular drum band in SMP N 7 Kota Padang goes well, but that has become a constraint of student exercise schedule in the less maximal extracurricular because the time is only an hour The material from the trainer takes quite a long time. In other sense it does not match the desired target. Besides, it does not have a special place to perform extracurricular drum activities of the band in SMP N 7 Padang City also do not have a regular trainer. Then it was concluded that when students practiced regularly and also plus hours for the activities of extracurricular drum band and have a regular trainer, then the quality produced by the students in playing drum band will be nicer and also many additions Song. But if continuing to replace the trainer before the target song is resolved make students confused because each trainer teaches different when the previous target lesson has not arrived and finished. Keywords: music training, extracurricular

Abstract

Abstract The article aims to find out and describe the implementation of learning cultural arts and skills, especially learning music in SDN 09 Air Tawar Barat. The type of research was qualitative with using descriptive analysis methods. The object of research was the students and the teacher of grade V in SD Negeri 09 Air Tawar Barat. Data was obtained through several steps such as observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. The fact in learning, especially singing unisono in SD Negeri 09 Air Tawar Barat that the teacher still too focuses on the lecture method, the teacher needs to develop the exploration process by providing information about intonation, breathing, posture and expression in unisono singing firstly, elaboration in the form of building agreements through cooperative, collaboration and confirmation activity in the form of motivating and strengthening learning for the achievement of learning outcomes. The teacher does not have a careful planning, learning strategies, approaches and methods that have not been effective yet. The ability of students in singing unisono are still below average, this is due to the lack of guided exercises conducted by the teacher so that the students who have good musical talent become less thrive. Keywords: cultural arts skill, basic competence, Unisono

Abstract

This study aims to explore and describe the implementation of Culture and Arts instruction based on the revised 2013 curriculum of 2016 edition at SMP Negeri 3 Padang. This is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The research instrument was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysiswas conducted through collecting the data, describing the data, taking conclusion and making suggestions. The results showthat the unisono singing instruction conducted by teachers in class VII-2 of SMP Negeri 3 Padang has not gone well and had not met the targets of the learning objectives and the objectives of the revised 2013curriculum. This can be seen from the planning, implementation, and evaluation. Thereisnorelevancy between the lesson plans and those implemented by the teacher in the classroom. Teachers do not fully understand the concepts and techniques of singing unisono so that students do not understand the subject matter. The results of the unisono learning evaluation of students in class VII-2show that the highest score got only reached 87, the lowest score was 75, and 10 students did not reach the cut score.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to look at and describe the implementation of learning art and cultural education (music) at SMAN 1 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman. Type of this research is descriptive research. This research instrument is its own researchers and researchers helped by supporting instruments such as observation records and documents. This type of research is the primary data and secondary data and the data of the test i.e. non through interviews and observations in a sample of research. The format of the assessment using the observation formats check list or a percentage scale then described with descriptive analysis. The results showed that interpersonal communication through which implement all methods of learning, teacher at SMAN I Nan Sabaris succeed in the learning process. Communication strategy group that is applied to include activity planning, implementation and evaluation. Teaching and learning through interpersonal communication, either teachers or pupils can understand each other and understand each character so that the educational process can take place properly and effectively. Keywords: implementation, learning, art and culture (music)

Abstract

 This article aims to know the process of learning music rabab against learning styles students use audio visual media in SMK Padang 7. This type of research is qualitative descriptive method. Object of research i.e. grade X Karawitan SMKN 7 Padang. The data obtained is collected through literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. Results of the study is that the results of student learning is already quite good than ever before. Based on the results of the observation of learning styles, media relevant to learning is applied in the audiovisual media. Lying spirit and students in learning the music improved rabab. Students are more motivated to follow the music learning process of learning from the rabab proved that followed with active students analyze, follow, move, touches and bold things in regard to learning music rabab. It also can be proved by the increase in student learning outcomes assessment.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of unison singing lessons in cultural arts subjects in class VII-3 of SMP Negeri 2 Kecamatan Guguak wich was related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of cultural arts learning. The type of this research was qualitative describtive research.the object of this research was the teacher of cultural arts, students and the implementation of cultural arts learning in class VII-3 at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Guguak. Techniques of data collection where done by observation, interview and location documents. Data where analized using data processing techniques consisting of primary and secondary data. The results should that the implementation of culture art learning at SMP Negri 2 Kecamatan Guguak has not run well in accordance with the draft of syllabus and RPP made by the teacher. In the process of implementation, there where also difficult ties of some student while reading the musical not numbers. Its due to not learning the culture art in elementary school.in order to overcome thie problem, the teacher gave the motivation by a singing the students for many exercises at home. By doing repetitive exercices, it was found better results where students can finnaly  sing unison songs. In conclusion, the result of the learning process has not been achieved one hundred percent. Keywords: learning, Unisono, singing, art and culture

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to improve students' learning motivation by using audiovisual media in learning the art of music. The type of this research was classroom action research held in 2 cycles. The object of the research was the students of class VII-3, amounting to 32 students with 15 male students and 17 female students. The research instrument was the researcher herself and the teacher of Art Culture as observer. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire, literature study, and motivational observation sheet with happy indicator, attention, concentration, and persistence. The results showed that learning the art of music by using audiovisual media could improve students' learning motivation in class VII-3, and had a good impact on the process of learning music. This statement was evidenced by the average percentage of each indicator of motivation to learn which was on the indicator happy with the average percentage of 59% increased to 78%, and the indicator attention with the average percentage of 44% increased to 76%, the indicator concentration with the average- average percentage 45% increased to 78%, and persistence indicator with average 42% percentage increased to 73%. Thus, from result of observation obtained that the result of student learning motivation in cycle I with average 47% categorized medium and increased in cycle II become 76% categorized very high. Moreover, the results of questionnaires that have researchers distributed to students there was an enhancement that was in cycle I obtained by 76% percentage and in cycle II 88%. In summary, authors can draw the conclusion that the using audiovisual media learning art music in class VII-3 SMP Negeri 1 Painan has succeeded increase student learning motivation. Keywords:    Improving Learning, Motivation, Audiovisual Media, Art and Culture

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on Music Art learning in the 10 Kerinci Junior high school, including soft-skill and hard-skill learning. The study uses theories related to the 2013 curriculum. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. The object of this study was the study of musical art in class VIII SMP Negeri 10 kerinches on the Semetereven school year 2019/2020. Research instruments are self-research, namely in AIDS with the instruments of notebooks and observations with the technique of collecting observation data, interviews and library studies. The results showed that the teachers were able to music art of junior high School 10 Kerinci has been able to spread the concept of soft-skills and hard-skills well in the learning of music art in class VIII. As a BETUK application of the 2013 curriculum that succeeded characters, but does not overlook the purpose of learning knowledge and skills. Based on the results of the study, explained that whether or not the use of the curriculum 2013 and accompanying teaching devices, depends on the teacher's personal, especially in good faith and its codifying in explaining a curriculum. The 2013 curriculum which is based on soft-skill and hard-skill, will be successful or not, not because the curriculum are less precise or great, to the extent that the teacher understands with the intent of the 2013 curriculum that is involved in learning in the classroom.
