Abstract

some fish farmers has been doing some way of controlling salinity in the water for marine fish farming, the farmers will turn on the water pump when they found the taste of the water used to grow fish is not salty, this indicates that the levels of salinity in the water too low. With this method will certainly lead to the growth of fish disturbed. So monitoring and adjusting the condition of pond water is continuously required to maintain water salinity. In this research we analyze one of the supporting factors for the cultivation of marine fish by adjusting the amount of salinity in the water and maintain it in accordance with the needs of tiger grouper. Using Arduino Uno R3 as a data processor, water level or salinity sensor as measuring salinity and input system, while for the actuator system using DC water pump. Salinity measurements using the water level or salinity sensor has an accuracy rate of 98.99%. Calculation of salinity by using fuzzy method goes well with a 100% success rate in accordance with the fuzzy analysis manually. By using salt water pump system can work well in controlling salinity and maintain between 30-33 ppt salinity.

Abstract

The increasing number of traffic on the network, due to the growth of smart devices such as gadgets and internet service at this time, causing high load of traffic. The network management is needed to find out the availability of the service, the network conditions, uptime and downtime. Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a protocol that is designed to monitor and set up a network based on TCP / IP either remotely or in a control center only. Through SNMP produce monitoring data in the form of raw data in the form of text, then the required application intermediaries to make the process monitoring be more efficient. This research will be to design, manufacture and testing the monitoring of all interfaces that exist on agent monitoring system that is more optimal. The experiment is conducted to determine the availability of devices and system using several methods, ie; on applications, network traffic and agent mapping, traffic in traffic out, polling system, urgent notification in the form text message and local alarm when detect the agent status up and down. The result of this study is a monitoring system that can provide a response notification to admin when there is agent down in the form text message with an average time of 22 to 30 seconds when the monitoring system detects the agent down and also traffic usage mapping, memory usage and availability.

Abstract

Propagation environment greatly affect the performance of wireless network. The excistence of obstacles between transmitter and receiver antennas provide shadowing effect to the transmitted signal. In multi-hop radio link, any link pairs experience shadowing effect that can be correlated if the links have a similar propagation environment. Various studies have shown that correlated shadowing has significant impacts on wireless network’s performance. This paper discusses  shadowing correlation of measured two-hop radio link. We propose models that can be used to predict shadowing correlation coefficient of link pairs using  deterministic and stochastic formulas. We give an example of the effect of correlated shadowing on the performance of multi-hop radio link in term of its outage probability.

Abstract

Pada saat ini pergerakan dari agen dalam kelompok secara luas digunakan dalam permainan komputer. Teknik dari pergerakan ini biasanya disebut dengan gerak formasi. Dalam tulisan ini, untuk membangun gerak formasi digunakan formasi geometris tetap. Dimana formasi didefinisikan oleh satu set slot, slot ini akan digunakan karakter dari agen NPC. Semua slot dalam formasi didefinisikan relatif terhadap pemimpin. Perilaku diterapkan dalam gerakan ini, fungsi ini untuk mengontrol agen bergerak ke posisi slot, menyesuaikan kecepatan, dan menghindari tabrakan antara teman dan juga kendala. Perilaku ini menerapkan metode Boids. Untuk mengevaluasi kinerja, digunakan tiga parameter: rasio panjang jalan, rata-rata kesalahan posisi dan waktu untuk pembentukan. Kinerja hasil terbaik dari percobaan dengan memutar, diperoleh dari formasi lingkaran.Hasil kinerja terbaik dari percobaan dengan halangan adalah dengan menggunakan formasi kolom.

Abstract

Many Applications developed to recognition handwritten called Optical Character Recognition (OCR), who generally it only presented alphabet recognition. Javanese numbers (aksara wilangan) or Javanese characters are culture of Indonesia from great grandmother and must be knowed by rising genereation. The final project presented “Get Character Feature Handwriting Javanese Numbers Used Shadow Feature Extraction Method and Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP). The shadow feature method used to recognition characterstic of handwritten before it classification by MLP. Application test have two stage that is a sample training test 100 of data set and sample testing test 50 of data set. Percentage successed pattern concerning training samples 99% and error recognition 0,10%, whereas testing samples 90,8% and error recognition 9,2%.

Abstract

Pada studi ini dilakukan analisa medan listrik pada quadruple spacer yang digunakan pada transmisi 500 kv dengan menggunakan simulasi berbasis FEM (Finite Element Method) serta membandingkan medan listrik pada kondisi normal dengan kondisi berpolutan dan untuk mengetahui perbandingan medan listrik dengan kadar dan jenis yang berbeda. Polutan yang digunakan adalah polutan air garam (NaCl) dan debu (CaCO3) yang ditempatkan dengan menempelkannya pada kabel konduktor pada simulasi. Dari Studi ini diperoleh bahwa polutan mempengaruhi perubahan medan listrik pada spacer. Jenis polutan juga mempengaruhi besar kecilnya perubahan dimana polutan air garam (NaCl) memiliki nilai medan listrik yang lebih besar daripada polutan debu (CaCO3)

Abstract

This Jumlah angkatan kerja di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan jumlah penduduk. Semakin besar jumlah penduduk maka angkatan kerja jadi semakin besar. Hal itu dapat menjadi beban tersendiri bagi perekonomian. Karena jika meningkatnya angkatan kerja yang tidak diimbangi dengan bertambahnya lapangan kerja akan menyebabkan masalah pengangguran. Kondisi tersebut dapat menyebabkan kesejahteraannya menurun. Oleh karena itu permasalahan penganggguran juga tidak terlepas dari bagian jumlah angkatan kerja, Pada Propinsi Jawa Timurjuga mengalami permasalahan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini akan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan PengelompokanAngkatan kerja pada wilayah propinsi Jawa timur dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Means, dengan pemodelan tersebut akan menghasilkan tingkat penganggurannya dari hasil masing – masing cluster yang dihasillkan, dan persebaran kelompok – kelompok tenaga kerja di pedesaan dan perkotaan ,sehingga bisa memberikan informasi kebutuhan tenaga kerja apa saja yang ada di propinsi Jawa Timur.setelah dilakukan pengklasteran maka hasil yang didapat akan di visualisasi ke dalam grafik chart. Dari proses pengelompokan dengan algoritma K-Means dari jumlah sample sebanyak 17.576 sample rumah tanggadidapat 2 (Dua) kluster yang optimal yang mampu mewakili analisa data yaitu kluster 1 memiliki jumlah anggota kluster paling banyak dan mempunyai karakteristik pengangguran sebanyak 7.936 rumah tangga sample terdiri dari 2.982 sample data tergolong pengangguran setengah dan pekerja paruh waktu sisanya sebesar 4.954 tergolong pekerja aktif diprosentasekan cluster 1 sebanyak 92,59 %. Kluster 2 (dua) kluaster yang mempunyai karakteristik pengangguran Terbuka sebanyak 730 rumah tangga atau sebanyak 8,42 % dari jumlah rumah tangga sample, faktor paling banyak penyebab pengangguran terbuka ialah merasa putus asa dalam memperoleh pekerjaan bisa dikarenakan cacat fisik atau lainnya.

Abstract

Photovoltaic (PV) modules have non-linear characteristics described by their voltage-current relationship. At an optimum operating point of voltage and current, a PV module delivers its maximum power. The maximum power of a PV module depends on the irradiance level of sunlight and the module temperature. This paper demonstrates, through simulation and experimental verification, a method to extract maximum output power from a PV module at any irradiance level and wide range of temperature. The proposed maximum power point tracker (MPPT) is based on the power-current characteristics of a PV module. To eliminate the deviation of MPPT operation due to temperature variation, temperature compensation is added. This method yields a faster response and does not require short-circuit current or open-circuit voltage information of the module as required in constant current or voltage MPPT schemes. As the result, higher efficiency is obtained because there is no power interruption while searching the optimum point. Experimental results confirm the validity of the mathematical model and simulation of the proposed technique

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to design a robust control using H ? controller theory to obtain a frequency stability of two different synchronous generator engines. Where the condition of power change from nominal conditions 96.81KVA to a minimum value 60.5KVA or maximum value120.03KVA. Besides, it is used a PID controller as a Coordinator in collaboration with H ? controller to obtain the minimum phase angle between the two generators. Based on the analysis show good results where the output voltage lost from the system is minimal.
