Abstract

This study aims to improve motivation and learning outcomes by using prezi media as medium for learning art in the XI IPS 1 class at Adabiah Padang High School. The research method used is classroom action research. The research instrument is a test of student learning outcomes, student motivation questionnaire, teacher activity observation sheet, observation sheet of student activity. The results of the study stated that 1) the use of prezi media can increase the motivation of students in learning art in the XI IPS 1 class at Adabiah Padang High School. 2) the use of prezi media can improve student learning outcomes in learning at in class XI IPS 1 Adabiah High School Padang.Keywords: Media Prezi, significant learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know if there any relationship between students „creativity to students‟ achievement in Visual Communication Design program and to know the significance of its relationship. This is correlation research. The prior data was got from questionnaire that had been indicated students‟ creativity. The secondary data was got from the students‟ achievement in sample group. The data was analyzed by using SPSS version 18. The finding shown that there is significance relationship in the number of 0,466 and the students‟ creativity gave positive contribution in the number of 20,3% to students‟ achievement in grade XI of Visual Communication Design program. Kata kunci: Kreativitas, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Th The purpose of the creation of this final work is to visualize the facial expressions of children of various forms, in the art of realist painting. The method of creation, using the five stages of preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, stage of concept realization and completion and exhibition. Using acrylic paint with brushstrokes technique and using colors that match the object. Ten works are made representing a theme that tells of the facial expressions of children. The author's interest in the theme of facial expressions of children because of his innocence. At the time of interacting with others they are expressed in the absence of engineering, because every expression shown is a real response as it is felt.Keywords: Facial Expression, Children, Painting, Realist

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the learning model ofthe Discovery Learning the learning outcomes of arts and culture in thefield of visual arts class VII SMP Negeri 35 Padang . This research isexperimental research with quantitative methods approach . Classes areselected as the sample is VII.5 class as experimental class and the class asa class VII.2 control . Data collection techniques in this research is toprovide test results to learn , while the data collection tool is theachievement test . The data analysis technique used in this study is tocompare the difference of the two average values , so done to test thehypothesis that t = 4.78 > table = 1.98 .Kata kunci: hasil belajar, mata seni rupa, Discovery Learning.

Abstract

The Formulation of the problem in this research is how the Implementation of Craft Sub Craft Material Learning in Adabiah 2 School Class Padang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Which is knowing the Implementation of Class X Craft Sub Adabiah 2 Padang. The method used by the teacher is Problem Basic learning, a Method in Which the teacher provides learning to students related to real problems as a context for student more critical thinking and problem solving skills and gaining knowledge. The media used by teachers in the Implementation of Workshop Learning uses elektronik media such as LCD Projectors, while also using online media such as Smartphone.Keywords: Implementation, Methods, Media, Crafts.

Abstract

Masjid Agung Al-Falah is one of the biggest Masjid in Jambi, that we called with 1000 pole Masjid. This Masjid were build on 1971 and finished on 1980. The peculiarity from this Masjid is have the cupola that decorated with Holy Qur’an verse calligraphy which have gold yellow panted with yellow, brown, and green background.This research aimed to know the kind of Arabic Calligraphy that used in Masjid Al-Falah, Jambi. The research was a qualitative research with descriptive method. This research was held for 2 months, started from June 2013 until July 2013. The data were analyzed used field research, observation, interview, and documentation.The result showed some visual elements that found in Masjid Agung Al-Falah’ calligraphy, such as it is materials, the type of calligraphy, the color, and the hand writing elements. The type of calligraphy that found in Masjid Agung Al-Falah, Jambi such: Tsulus, Kufi, and Riqaah. The common placement of this calligraphy is in the mihrab and prime room. The factor of calligraphy selection dive to the consideration of calligraphy in the art sector, religion, and culture. From the result of that invention are suggested for the organizer to increase the art of calligraphy and ought to maintain the local culture elements while choosing beside the religion, art, and aesthetics value. While choosing the holy Qur’an verses the organizer of masjid have to pay attention to the superiority of the verse than the art of calligraphy. Kata kunci: Jenis Kaligrafi Arab

Abstract

The purpose of the creation of this final work is to visualize the greedy nature through the metaphor of cork in graphic artwork. The greediness becomes the main problem that many people now have so that someone can do anything to get what he wants. The method of creating artwork, using five stages of preparation stage, elaboration stage, synthesis stage, stage of concept realization and completion stage. Furthermore, there is an exhibition of graphic art work, a technique of serigraphy (stencil print) that exposes the colors in accordance withthe object. Through this graphic work, the author displays all the anxiety that is felt. Abstract

The purpose of this final assignment/scription is to visualize superhero characters in action figure form that had been created by writer. By casting technique, writer creates three superhero characters that are Kapten Milo, Aries, and AngkasaResah, each of them is created in the form of normal human anatomy, chibi form and in the form of capsules. From these superhero characters, it provides some action figures of superhero that are: Kapten Milo, Kapten Milo Chibi, Kapten Milo Hunt, Milo Cahaya Bulan, Kapsul Kapten Milo, Kapsul Milo Hunt, Kapsul Milo Cahaya Bulan, Aries, Chibi Aries, Badai Aries, Aries Pelangi Hitam, Kapsul Aries, Kapsul Badai Aries, Kapsul Aries Pelangi Hitam, Angkasa Resah, R-Resah, Ultimate Resah, dan Kapsul Angkasa Resah, Kapsul R-Resah, Kapsul Ultimate Resah. The third character of the superhero Kapten Milo, Aries, and Angkasa Resah appear as heroes who protect and save people from a group of evilwhere come from the criminal organization.Kata Kunci: Superhero, Action Figure, Teknik Casting

Abstract

The creation of this final work aims to visualize environmental damage due to Galian C mining in the District XIII of Koto Kampar and Koto Kampar Hulu in Kampar District in contemporary realist painting. Displays Galactic mining activities that do not have operational permits and negative impacts on the surrounding environment. The method and process of work used in the creation of this painting works through several stages: (1) Preparation, (2) Elaboration, (3) Synthesis, (4) Realization of the Concept, (5) Completion. The results of the discussion are visualization of environmental damage that is increasingly damaged and has a negative impact on the environment as a result of Mining C in District XIII Koto Kampar and Koto Kampar Hulu Kampar District. As for the work discussed, it consists of ten contemporary realist paintings with the title: memakan badan jalan, tentang penambang batu, tambang untuk kehidupan #1,Tambang untuk kehidupan#2, Eksploitasi Alam #1, Eksploitasi Alam #2, Ekspoitasi Alam #3, Potret dampak negatif, Faktor X, Potret pascatambang.Kata kunci :Pertambangan, galian C, dampak, seni lukis.

The objective of this final work is visualized on society’s conflict which is metaphored by the wall cracked on cabbage complexion art painting.The methodology of this final work that is used by the writer are preparation, elaboration step, synthesis step, realization concept step, and final step.
