Abstract

This study aims to describe. Khat 1), Media 2), and Color 3) Arabic calligraphy at the Sacred Mosque, to be known to the people especially the villages of Central Island of Kerinci Regency of Jambi Province. The research method used is qualitative method with descriptive approach. Research location in Central Island village, Kerinci, Jambi. Research subjects are mosque officials, community leaders and artists. Sources of data were obtained from the informants of the Keramat mosque in the form of written notes, audio recordings, videos, photographs, and literature studies. Data were analyzed by qualitative analysis.The result of the research shows that Khat type: Tsuluth and Naskhi. Media: Canvas, Triplek, Cement, Watercolors and Oil Paints Manufacturers, and Colors: Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Pink, Cream, Chocolate, White and Black.Keywords: Khat Type, Media And Color Arabic Calligraphy Mosque Keramat Central Island Village, Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province.

Abstract

This final work aims to visualise The Use of Public Space For Billboards as a graphic art work. Showing  places that have become main targets for the display of billboards by the general society or by  companies.The stages utilised in the methodology and working process of the creation of this graphic art work are:  (1) Preparation, (2) Elaboration, (3) Synthesis, (4) Realisation of Concept, (5) Finalisation.The  visualisation of the misuse of these spaces result in 10 graphic art works with the following titles: (1)  Sedot Tiang, (2) Sedot Pohon, (3) Dibiarkan, (4) Dibentangkan, (5) Dihalangi, (6) Diikat, (7) Sedot Tiang  II, (8) Pohon Caleg, (9) Senjang and (10) Dijejerkan.Key words: utilisation, misuse, public space, billboard, graphic arts

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to reveal to what extend painting’s role in expressing feelings, ideas, and imagination of one self. The writer employs contemporary style in creating the paintings. The paintings are created based on contemplation observation which then visualized into desired lines, colors, and objects on painted acrylic on canvas. Then, these paintings are analyzed based the theory of psychoanalysis proposed by Sigmund Freud. This study reveals that each person has internal problems which lead in a journey to figure out the real meaning and purpose of life. In some cases, internal or mental problems bring negative impacts, physically and mentally. However, they become parts of a journey into wisdom and shape someone to a better quality who will be able to overcome any problems and dilemmas.AbstrakAnalisa ini merupakan pembahasan tentang karya seni lukis sebagai media ekspresi adalah untuk menyampaikan segala kegelisahan pribadi. Pada karya lukis ini, gaya yang penulis tampilkan adalah kontemporer. Terwujudnya karya ini merupakan hasil dari pengamatan, kontemplasi, dan kemudian divisualisasikan ke dalam garis, warna dan bentuk objek lukis menggunakan akrilik di atas kanvas. Selanjutnya karya ini diungkap berdasarkan teori psikoanalisis yang dikemukakan oleh Sigmund Freud. Hasil dari analisa ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap manusia tak lepas dari masalah, memiliki persoalan diri masing-masing dan menjadi beban yang harus dijalani dalam mencari hakekat dan makna hidup. Masalah beban mental yang melanda memiliki akibat yang negatif dan tidak terbayangkan sebelumnya terhadap pikiran, jiwa maupun fisik kepribadian, akan tetapi itu semua akan menjadi bagian dari proses perkembangan menuju kedewasaan dalam membentuk kualitas diri yag lebih baik..ketika beban mental yang melanda bisa dilewati.

Abstract

Interior design is akifitas art and spatial science, aims to create a functional space within the structure of the building. The purpose of design interior design pool company otobus PT. Jambi Putra Sejahtera in Jambi City is to build an effective spatial, and comfortable with aesthetic value that collaborated elements of decorative jambi area. Approach method in this design is the collection of verbal data, and visual, to the field with interviews, documentation, and literature study. After getting the necessary data, the author began to make preparations tobuild an interior design work in the form of a model with a scale of 1:30.The design result as the main idea is the design of the concept, design, lay out spatial, visible image, cut image, detail drawings, and spatial perspective, which completed the presentation model. The scientific contribution of this designcan be expected to build the attraction for the customer and build the image of PT. Jambi Putra Sejahtera in the city of Jambi.Keywords: design, interior, comfortable.

Abstract

The Greatest Mosque in West Sumatera has façade on the roof, it has carved object with high art quality by mixing traditional art from West Sumatera (Minangkabau) and Arabic culture, it mixing traditional carved from Minangkabau and calligraphy.Now days in the modern era Minangkabau people did not have any responsibility to their inheritance culture. We can see that from the habitually of Minangkabau people they did not want to learn about the meaning from their old tradition including the carved at that mosque. This condition must be anxiousness for Minangkabau people without awareness their own tradition, their own culture will beextinct. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the learning model creative problem solving (CPS) on learning outcomes art class VII SMPN 10 Padang. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis that normality test, homogeneous, variations and test t.Hasil research shows that the average value of 74.06 experimental class and control class 65.80. From the results of hypothesis test obtained t hit 4.10 and 1.96 with α t tab 0.05. So hit t> t tab, then Ho is rejected, so that there is a significant difference learning outcomes art using model CPS by conventional methods. The findings show the learning outcomes in the classroom who apply CPS is higher than the class that uses the conventional model.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model pembelajaran CPS

Abstract

This research aims is to find out whether there is a positive impact from using examples non examples cooperative learning model assisted by power point towards the learning outcomes of students of Padang 15 High School. The research used is type quantitative with quasi experiment approach. All students of class X IIS of Padang 15 High School became population in this study. Then the research used from class X IIS 1 and X IIS 3 as samples using random sampling techniques. This research instrument is student learning outcomes. After Data is obtained, then he data is analyzed using Independent sample t-test. The use of cooperative learning models of examples non examples types assisted by power points differ significantly by using conventional learning models on student learning outcomes.Keywords: Example Non Example, Learning Outcomes

For that done correlational research. The population of this research is all students of SMPN 8 Koto XI Tarusan. The technique of determining the sample by purposive sampling with the number of samples counted 60 people. Abstract

Rigafara Futsal Centre is one of the futsal field name in the city of Padang. Rigafara Futsal Centre located at Jalan By Pass / Kapuk, exactly in front of the crossroads of Taruko 1 Padang housing. Inaugurated on April 5, 2010 by Mr. Syafrial. The absence of a logo that can represent fully the vision and mission to form the image / images to the existence of Rigafara Futsal Centre is very influential in the competition, therefore, the owners wanted to create an attractive logo and can fully represent the vision and mission to form the image / images to the presence of Rigafara Futsal Centre, in addition to the logo Rigafara futsal Centre will be created and charged with having a meaning that represent elements that represent Rigafara futsal futsal Centre. In order that can attract more players to play in Rigafara futsal Centre, as well as to differentiate futsal Rigafara futsal Centre with other futsal field rental.The design of the logo as the main promotional media Rigafara Futsal Centre, then through the media support, the necessary data analysis through 5W + 1H.This method is needed to strengthen and refine the design. This design results in the form of a logo that is expected to be a media campaign memorable by futsal players, and can capture more customers and become the place for choose for visitors and futsal players in the city of Padang.Keywords : Logo, Games, Futsal Centre, Rigafara
